That was still kind of troubling. Really, Kellen hoped it was a dog. Some random magical creature roaming around and biting people would be even worse. "Well, try and remember it as best you can, yeah? You'll have to give a description to someone so we can try and find it. Anyway...." Kellen drifted off as he headed toward the potions cabinet. Heading back with an assorted collection of bottles, he handed a small one to each patient. "Okay, first you'll need to take these. They're mild painkillers; they probably won't totally get rid of the pain you're feeling, but they'll lessen it at least, while I clean yous up."

"Thanks, Kellen, dude," Charlie said as he instructed her what to do. Gratefully taking to the painkiller, she expected the bad taste that came and gulped it without breathing to avoid the taste. "Y'know, it was pretty big. I think. The paw we saw was good sized."

Dragos swallowed down the painkiller, but nearly spat it back out as he listened to Charlie explaining what happened. "It was big enough to nearly tear my leg off," Dragos muttered, leaning back again. The Slytherin boy glanced at the girl again, sighing slightly. Stupid dogs.

Fantastic, Kellen thought disdainfully. He didn't hate dogs, exactly, but he certainly didn't like them either.
Once again, he narrated as he worked. "Okay, Dragos, I'm going to clean up the gash from the bite with this potion on this gauze here. I'm not going to lie; it'll probably sting pretty significantly. It's necessary though to fight any bacteria, magical or mundane, that might be in the wound from the dog's mouth." He started to clean the blood and the wound immediate, without taking a break from talking. "Just take a deep breath and you'll be fine. Now, just for my own curiosity, so I can avoid whatever it was that bit you, where exactly did this happen?"

Charlie gulped. She didn't want to think about the dog now, but she also had to keep a front to make sure he didn't know that Dragos and her basically destoyed private property to encounter the dog. "Yeah, it was outside.... somewhere. Maybe it's gone now," she nodded lightly.

Dragos gripped the edge of the bed slightly, in preparation for the stinging. "Ahhh! Oh Jesus!" Dragos cried out, but then gritted his teeth to make himself shut up. It stung a lot more than he was expecting. His grip on the edge of the bed became stronger as it continued to burn and he even felt his eyes start to water. Damn it, Kellen.
"I oughta kick your ass for making me cry like a baby in front of a girl," Dragos choked out, but with a laugh, even though he really wasn't kidding. He glanced over at Charlie, but then looked away. This was just precious. Not.

Charlie laughed, clearly enjoying the show Dragos was making. Sure enough the painkiller kicked in, and her heart wasn't beating like a drum, as it did before whenever she had to think back to the dog's teeth sinking into Dragos. "Recite the national anthem, man. It helps me when they clean me up."

"The national anthem?" Dragos questioned through gritted teeth, panting slightly and wondering why the painkillers hadn't kicked in yet. Still, he figured he might as well give it a try, and he began muttering the Croatian national anthem to himself, and it surprisingly worked. Or maybe it was just the painkillers finally kicking in. "Why does that work?" Dragos asked, leaning back and resting his head down, only to turn it to the side as he spoke to Charlie.

"Easy," Charlie said as she watched him slowly get over his pain, "You're distracted on tryin' to get the anthem down that you kinda forget about the pain. One time I recited the anthem and pledge when I had to go to the hospital for a broken arm after a swing set incident."

"Sorry about that, mate," Kellen said as he finished cleaning the wound on Dragos' leg. He began to wrap it to the tune of the Croation national anthem, and cleaned his hands before moving on to Charlie.
"You're right on, you know. Keeping your mind off the pain is the best way to let Healers get the work done. Spot on," he commented as he started looking at the cut on her head. "Okay, we're going to have to clear up some of this blood before we bandage it, yeah? But don't worry, it won't be the same super-infection cleaner Dragos just had."

Charlie smirked at the mention of Drago's fun experience with healing products. "I could probably handle it more than he could, dude. I'm just good like that," Still, she found herself humming "My Country, Tis of Thee". You know, just to be sure. "How soon'll I be up?"

Dragos just glared at Charlie, jokingly of course. He chuckled slightly as he heard Charlie still humming, even though she could "handle it more than he could". Yeah right. "Why are you still humming then, tough guy?" Dragos joked, trying to provoke Charlie.

"'Cause I can," she said gruffly, mostly coming from the minor pain that came with the cleaning of the wound. She wondered where the dog was now. If it was still locked up in that mysterious place where it seemed there had to be more doors, or if the dog was wandering around. One could see she had a chill up her spine. She was none to happy to think about it.

"Okay, you guys are both done here," Kellen said as he checked over the injuries once more. I'll give you some extra bandages...change them before you go to bed tonight, yeah? Umm...if anything starts to hurt again, come on back.
"Oh! I almost forgot. Here, Dragos, take this in about half an hour," he said, handing the boy a small vial. "It should help keep out any infection, and also with any pain. Um, so, any questions?"
