The sound echoed down the deserted hallway, the slow monotonous beat of Drew chucking a tennis ball across an empty classroom and letting it thump against the wall. He probably could have gone outside and enjoyed the fresh air, but it would have been hard to find a nice smooth wall to throw a ball against and this was what he wanted to be doing at the moment.

"Ya know..." came a voice from the doorway "If ya keep making so much noise a professor will eventually catch ya, ya know" Krissy said walking into the room with a smile on her face. She hadn't seen Drew around for a while so it was good to randomly bump into him, luckily not literally as had been with alot of people recently. It had been the thump of the ball against the wall that had brought her attention to the room. "So why are you inside on ya own instead of outside with people?" she asked curiously.

"I like it in here," Drew answered simply, grinning over at Krissy as soon as he saw who it was. "It's hard to find a decent wall outside and this way I can just think about stuff. So what are you doing up here?

Krissy laughed slightly "We inside a huge castle, how difficule could it be to find a wall?" she asked with a big grin. she did actually know what Drew meant though as 99% of the walls had grass next to them. "I'm just wandering the halls" Krissy said "Was drawn here from your noise" In actual fact Krissy was avoiding the Hufflepuff common room, and in result Mike. Who she didn't want to have anything to do with. "So what do ya need to think about that you can't do around people?" Krissy asked curiously. She realised after wards it was a silly question because if he didn't want to think about it around people he definately wouldn't wanna tell someone about it.

"Stuff," Drew answered, tossing the ball lightly in his hand. "It's just easier to think about things when people aren't trying to talk to you, you know?"
As soon as he said it, he realized it could easily be taken to mean he wanted Krissy to leave and he quickly clarified. "I mean, one person sometimes helps 'cause you can talk things out, but lots of people just get noisy, you know?"

Drews first sentence had her suddenly wonder if he wanted her there, but his quick clarification made it all ok. She nodded in agreeance. "Yeah I know what ya mean" Krissy said thinking about how she always found it easier to think when there wasn't many people around. "Noisy people do make it difficult to think about things" she said. "So what have you been thinking about?" Krissy asked curiously, wondering if he felt like talking about it or not.

"A lot of stuff," Drew answered, tossing the ball against the wall and catching it when it bounced back at him. The steady rhythm somehow made it easier to talk. "School... the murder... girls..."

"Mmm..." Krissy murmered thinking. "The murders kinda freaky..." she said watching the ball as it bounced back and forth, sorta like a terrier would, except without the energetic excitement. She hadn't said much about the murder to anyone as she had been with all the huffle's and as she was the prefect had to keep them all reassured that everything was ok, so hadn't told anyone before now that it kinda freaked her out.
Drews mention of girls came as a surprise to Krissy as she knew he was with Alhana and didn't think he would be having much trouble with that. "Are you and Alhana ok?" she asked, her mind automatically jumping to Alhana at the mention of girls as she was Drews girlfriend.

"Yeah... we're okay..." Drew answered, shaking his head as if the idea that anything were wrong would be unthinkable. "It's not her but a bunch of the other girls... I just don't get them any."

Krissy smiled "Oh good, you and Alhana are really cute together" she said with a grin. She really thought Drew and Alhana were good together and would hate to think that anything would go wrong between them.
"Other girls?" Krissy questioned curiously "Like who? And what don't you get about them?" she adsked wonderingly. She did have to admit though some guys were difficult to understand to her too.

Drew gave an embarassed grin when Krissy complimented him and Alhana. It was nice to hear his friends approved. "It's not Alhana," he said again. "It's the others... Like... Ari... and Lily. I just don't get them is all. I think everything's good and then I find out it's not."

Krissy decided not to ask about what was going on with Ari but chose the other option. "Hmmm..."she said thinking "Whats going on with them? Uhh.. like whats happening with Lilly." She hoped that maybe the case with Lilly would be less complicated than the one with Ari, because Ari told her alot and Krissy didn't feel like trying to understand that situation. Krissy then looked from the ballwhich Drew was bouncing to Drew and said with a laugh "I hope I'm not very complicated"

"All girls are complicated," Drew answered with a small smirk. "Some are just more complicated than others. You happen to be on the less complicated end of the spectrum for me. Lily... she's way complicated."

Krissy laughed "You know I could say the same about you boys, I've met some pretty complicated ones..." Krissy's mind went to Mike, he was complicated and Krissy still didn't understand what went through his mind. "Your not though" Krissy said with a laugh. "Lilly, yeah I can see how she would be complicated" Krissy said with a small laugh. "Whats going on with her?" Krissy asked Drew curiously.

"Guys are EASY," Drew answered. "We only think of three things: sports, food, and girls... not in that order necessarily." Sure it was a stereotype, but it made his point. Girls were WAY harder to understand. And Lily was one of the hardest.
"She's just..." He didn't think he should go into details, but really needed to get it out. "She's got a lot of crap going on... and blames me for most of it."
