To say that it had been a hard day at work would have been the understatement of the year. Sure, she was still only training, but that was hard enough, and Luce was beginning to have second thoughts about her chosen profession, knowing that when she was a full fledged healer, it would be so much harder. The girl was only 20 years old, maybe she didn't yet have the work ethic that would get her through life. Luce hoped that it wouldn't take it's time to develop, she wanted to be able to stand the pressure that was on her. Luce had once believed that with the new job, then came new friends, co-workers, and all of that, but she had so far been pretty uneventful. Nothing was happening, she didn't really know anyone that she worked with, and funnily enough, the accent that she owned, that horrible french accent, it just made her go back into her shell all the more. Some people thinks it's cool, somebody wish they had it.
Luckily though, Luce is pretty sure that Sebastian likes it. She'd hope so, anyways, as she really liked that guy. She wasn't sure at first; he wasn't exactly the type of guy that Luce usually went for; but she was glad that she had accepted his offer to go out sometime. She had recently moved in with the kid, although she likes to believe for different reasons than what you are thinking right now. No, Luce likes to think that she moved there as it was closer to everything, out of convenience, rather than the fact that the relationship was progressing. The two were now officially dating. The last four or so times they had gone out, it was mostly as friends, as Luce tried to suss the boy out, but she was well and truly sure that he was now a good guy; after so many broken hearts from the 'bad' boys, it was pretty hard for Luce to let her guard down and trust somebody.
Stepping of the bus as the door closed abruptly behind her, Luce felt the familiar spray of water that came with getting off the bus. No matter what bus it was that she was riding, she always seemed to get hit with the water that was flicked off the bus doors when they closed. Shaking her head, a disbelieving smile on her face, as if she were choking back anger, Luce continued to walk, her high heels clicking at every step, the door screeching open. The girl trudged up the stairs, her hands grabbing at the railings. Having found that she had climbed three flights of stairs subconsciously, Luce brought the key up and pushed it into the door, shaking it a bit to get it in properly.
Wandering into the apartment that she shared with Sebastian, Luce flopped down onto the couch, her skirt stopping her from collapsing completely. Luce flicked off her shoes, and, as her eyes gently closed, slowly drifted off the sleep. Sebastian would be home from work soon, hopefully with dinner; Luce really didn't want to get cranky at Sebastian, after all that he had done for her, and sleeping now was only going to make the chances of that happening decrease.

Sebastian was in a good mood. He had been for over a month, now. Whether that was due to the fact that himself and Luce had finally made their relationship "official", or perhaps because of the increasing amount of work he was getting in the music industry, the boy wasn't fussed. Luce was by far one of the best things that happened to the boy. Yeah, alright, it was really corny and cheesy, but it was true too. Alike the blond French, Seb was generally the one in the relationship who got let down, or "heart broken", however you wanted to put it. He was the softie kind of guy, who was generally mellow and laid back.
However, once little miss Luce came along, the bubbly and bright girl had somewhat coaxed Seb out of whatever shell he had begun to develop. She just brought life to his dullest days, a smile to his face, and happiness to his life. Anyway, enough of that mushy stuff, there was plenty more time for that later. Music was the second biggest factor to Sebastian's ever-happy mood. He had done several gigs with his band, Cupid's Arrow, in the past couple of weeks, increasing his popularity allot in the pubs and clubs of London. Over all, he was living the sweet life. Working in the bar part time, performing at night, and spending his spare time with his girlfriend. It was almost too good to be true. Hey, he didn't even mind cooking for the girl on his nights off.
Not even the rain that was hanging around this fall could dampen his spirits. It was nearing 6pm, and so Seb was well on his way home. He knew Luce would be back by now, and was looking forward to seeing her. As he parked his car in the designated spot, the youth jumped out, bringing with him a backpack and a small bunch of wildflowers. Sebastian fumbled with his keys at the door, trying to manage with one hand. Once inside, the boy kicked off his shoes, and dropped his pack near the front door.
Slowly, and quietly, Seb made his way into the lounge room, where he spotted Luce, fast asleep on the couch. She had been working hard lately, so the boy hopped the small surprise he had in store for tonight would relax her a bit. He made his way over to her, bending down next to the lounge, his tanned hand running up and down her upper arm gently. "Lou... Louie..." he spoke softly, shifting so that the flowers were hidden behind his back.

Smiling as she made herself comfortable again, briefly waking up from her doze, Luce felt herself drift back into sleep, her dreams well and truly occupying her mind. She didn't usually remember her dreams, as everybody always dreamed, but she could never re-tell the story like most people did. However, Luce still enjoyed them, she got a feeling that they were good once she woke up, and that was good enough for her. She could enjoy them while they lasted; other than spending time with Sebastian, sleeping and dreaming were both tied for Luce's favourite pastime.
Some people say that a couple moving in together was a mistake, a relationship killer. But with Sebastian's never ending schedule, with all of his music performances, and the bartending on top of that, and Luce's hard shifts at the hospital, it really brought them closer together. It would be so much harder for the two to even see each other, with the hectic lives that they led, and it would eventuate to being a hassle to meet up, with this, they could spend every night, and some afternoons together. They weren't the type of people that had to go out to have a good time.
Holding Sebastian's hand as they ran over the sand and into the water, Luce stopped to look at the boy. She couldn't believe that she had had any doubts about the boy, he was perfect. Feeling a wave crashing over her, Luce smiled as she ducked under, feeling her arm being lost by the boy. The young girl panicked under the water, reaching for his grasps, waiting for his touch, Luce felt something grab her over the arm -
"Huh?" Luce whispered, being brought straight back to reality. Her heartbeat was obviously elevated, her breathing deep, so deep that she hadn't actually noticed Sebastian sitting in front of her. Grinning almost immediately after she was brought back down to Earth, Luce looked into the boys arms. She couldn't remember the dream that she had, no, but she knew that it wasn't good. Otherwise she wouldn't have gotten the chills like she did. Pulling her other hand up to reach the boys, the hand that was brushing against her arm, Luce closed her eyes momentarily, opening them to once again see the boy's own.

Sebastian couldn't help but grow worried as Luce woke with a startle. He could see by the pulse on her neck that her heart was beating above average, evidently initiated by something. In other words, she must had been scared by his sudden approach, or just just had woken up from a nightmare. A small frown creased his forehead, as Seb leaned closer to her, his hand squeezing hers, as he then moved so the same hand cupped her cheek. "Sorry about waking you up, I just couldn't help myself. Besides, I'm sure I got enough photos of you sleeping to use against you, anyway." he grinned mischievously, giving her a wink through bright blue eyes.
"Besides, to make up for all of that, I got 'cha something." Sebastian uttered softly, removing his hand to hold her own again, as the boy stood slightly, seating himself on the edge of the lounge. When he had caught her gaze again, the youth pulled his occupied arm from behind his back, reveling the flowers held in a large, colorful bouquet.

If there was one feeling in the world that Luce really loved, it was the feeling that she got after waking up. It was all a haze, she didn't know what had happened, what was going to happen, and who she was with. Her head spun, and she always licked her lips, in order to rehydrate them. Every single time she woke up she experienced this feeling, and well, it never, ever, never, ever got old. But the greatest thing about it, moreso when you were coming to, was the realisation of who you were with. And being with Sebastian at that very moment was the most that she could have wished for.
"You wouldn't dare." She grinned sleepily, her eyes not quite opening all the way. Her eyelids were heavy, and her voice had been changed by the yawn that was at the back of the throat, but it was still teasing the boy. "Huh?" Luce smiled, popping straight back into reality as something bright caught her eye. Flowers. This boy never stopped, did he? "Oh, Sebastian." She giggled, sitting up to kiss the boy gently. "You shouldn't have."
