Another familiar face joined them, and Drew could tell the guy had already had a few to drink. The guy's salute to Shay was a little odd, but at the same time totally Rollo.
"Hold on! Rollo was talking smack on us, saying we were a bad bunch?" Drew asked with a tease, starting to feel hyper now that the group was growing. The music was getting to him and he was already starting to move to the beat. As soon as welcomes and introductions were through, he'd be dragging one of the ladies onto the dance floor.
Fortunately the next arrival didn't need any introductions. Drew knew his sister had already met Rollo as well and of course knew everyone else. "Hey, that's from me and Franco too!" he announced, making sure Allegra didn't get all the credit. She had picked the bracelet, but he and Franco had picked out the bottle. "Okay, so has this party started or what?" he asked.

Franco merely nodded again as the birthday girl introduced Rollo. He was still not sure what he felt about that man, not too much of his liking but not dislike either, perhaps the circumstances haven't presented on the man's favor... just maybe.
His thoughts though got cut at the arrival of Allegra which was somehow good, besides Drew she was the only one in that group he knew from before and had some kind of friendly manner. However he could not help feel a little awkward toward her time to time. For what he had been told by Drew the three of them had spent summer vacations at their home in California when were kids, it was rather odd to know that and don't remember it at all, how many of embarrasing memories she could have of him and he had not the slightest idea.
He merely chuckled at Drew claiming part the ownership of the present to them too but felt too short to join in the funny argument.

Rollo quickly felt overwhelmed because while he knew Drew and had some familiarity with Franco he in fact did not know the other girl standing next to him. Standing there now with an empty shot glass Rollo could not help but feel a tad bit naked and wished that he had asked for a bigger glass or just had come over with at least another shot. Rollo though decided to at least attempt at some conversation though and as Shay introduced him he felt as if now all eyes were on him and this was certainly something that he did not want. Rollo though as if in some act of self defense slipped a cigarette out and lit it calmly before he spoke at all and turned to Shay quirking a brow calmly questioning himself all the while why exactly he had bothered with the suit jacket.
"But Shay it's not really an act more so just how I am. I'll try myself though to exercise some sort of conversational skills. Although if you want your present you'll have to swing by my place later and if you wouldn't mind tonight actually would be good. I don't drag such things into bars."
Rollo had in fact painted something rather particular for Shay and while she probably would have no need for it, it was the best he could do. For one Rollo barely knew the girl and as it was he had enough trouble picking out things for his mother. So Rollo had simply done the best he could with something that he knew he was good at so the present itself wouldn't be horrible. It would of course at least be in some way relevant and meaningful. Rollo though listened as Andrew spoke and couldn't help but shake his head saying the first thing that came to mind.
"Eh not the whole bunch just you Thornton. After all you bring a fake report to my office and never call again which left me to track you down in the Cauldron. Bad form mate bad form I hope you don't try to attract girls that way not the best method."
What the hell was Rollo talking about. Rollo had no idea how to attract girls and there he stood looking like something out of a bad Miami vice episode. Rollo wanted to smack himself wishing that he could just skulk over to the bar now before he opened his mouth again and also wondering if there in fact had every been an episode of Miami vice that was in fact good. The show he had watched once or twice after he bought the jacket seeing as that was what the woman in the store said he had looked like. Rollo had in fact liked the jacket and that was his sole motivation behind buying it but had checked the show out after the sales lady had said something to that effect. All it had really done was remind Rollo why he avoided watching TV a majority of the time and left it to Duo.
Allegra arrived though and as the group grew Rollo milked the cigarette for all it was worth. His social ineptitude was astonishing he knew but as he inhaled smoke Rollo attempted to calm himself longing to go back over to the bar so he could down some more liquid courage. After all he wasn't a sloppy drunk.....just a miserable one.

"Yeah, for all your concern about my well being, I haven't seen so much as a memo from you either. I throw your bad form back at you, mate," Drew shot back with a hearty salute, glad that Rollo was at least loosening up. The guy seriously needed to relax and preferably without becoming slosh-mouthed and cross-eyed, but it was good it was happening either way. "Besides, who needs to worry about attracting girls when I have these guns... BAM! BAM!" he cried out, showing off his muscles with a traditional body builder pose. He ignored the face and eye roll Allegra made. Okay, so he was far from being in the Mr. Universe competition. In fact, seven years of swinging a beater's bat and he still had little to show for it.

Franco could not help to snort out loud, in spite that he tried hard to content himself. For him it was just a little too childish behaviour for Drew's age. It was not that he were way older than his mate but it was perhaps the difference of their circumstances now that make Franco just find Drew's antic out of age.
For him now things were more than atract girls or go be the party man of the night, not even Drew's vision of the future were similar in the slightless. Drew was now pursuing his goal of become an auror, have a career on that, probably be recognized; quiet different from his prospect of living which included keep a low profile as much as possible and make a little boy happy.
"Oh yeah... If I were a girl I would have totally fallen for those" he chortled just making fun on Drew's comment.
