"I guess so," he said. "Well, I'm not really sure where I'm going. But I have an idea," he told her. He was going to go fight dragons, is what he wanted to do. He knew if he told her now, she would flip. Besides he shouldn't have any trouble maybe. He wasn't sure what creature he wanted to fight and kill and bring back. He knew a dementor was off the list. Their X rating was through the rooftop.
"You need to be getting on, Anna," he said hugging and kissing her on the lips. "I love you and I'll write to ya," he said as he let her go and took a few steps back watching her.

Slipping her arms under his suit coat, wrapping them tight around his middle, she knew what he said was true. However, she couldn't help to not think of the what ifs. There were so many in her mind she couldn't very well get rid of them and knowing she was going to be far away from them, it bothered her. Of course, when she was first allowed to attend, she never thought of that, but no one had been ill then either. And she'd only missed one birth, but with as many as she'd all ready witnessed, she knew there was no reason to bother with fussing about missing one. In a way, she knew she'd turned soft since first going to Hogwarts, before she couldn't have cared less and she wouldn't have minded leaving so much, at least not leaving Drew so much, but her mum likely would've left her with the same feeling upon departure.
"I know," she answered sadly, all ready planning a letter to send him that night as well. Dustan would like to get out from the restrictions of his cage and a flight would be nice for him, especially one that would allow him to stretch his wings for so long. "But I don't think I'd mind going mad if that's how you went as well," she told him, almost honestly. She couldn't get them from her mind, there was no way of it. Sammy was becoming restless of being kept in a small area of movement, and she knew the time was counting down and she still needed to find a compartment, but she didn't want to let go of Drew either. "Promise you're really going to check on mum for me?" she asked quietly, knowing her parents wouldn't tell her what was really going on, but praying Drew at least would.

"Wha--?" Dustan left the question hanging as his attention was returned from Kellen to Abigail. It took a moment for him to see what she was holding out to him. It looked like a container with water, but what if it was a potion which was clear? Never having been to wonderful with potions class, he couldn't remember if they'd learned any clear potions. But when it was sat between the two of them, his eyes glued to the clear container, it looked too pure to be anything but water. But truth serum, well, that wouldn't hurt if it happened to be, would it? Likely not, after all, his plants couldn't really talk and spill his secrets, correct? "Th--thanks," he nodded, turning to continue fiddling with Corey. There didn't seem to be any broken branches just yet, so it was all well and fine with him.
"Huh? Oh,,, oh well, yeah, Tan--Tanya's a pret--pretty com--common plant," he answered, knowing it was found in both the magical and muggle world. "This, this one, here," he pointed to the plant he'd sat down with Tanya, "Andrew, he's... he's an ang--angraecum, related to aspho--asphodel. And Corey here," he gestured to the tree growing in its own make-shift greenhouse, "he's a laurus tree. Well, a begi--beginning one at lea--least." Recovering the tree so it wouldn't lose too much heat, he started to scoop up some of the salvage-worthy dirt. "Thi--this is Kel--Kellen. A snake plan--snake plant, ver--very poi--poisonous if inges--ingested.
"Herbo--Herbology is--isn't o-one of my be-best subj-subjects, either." Though he was careful about tending to his plants, he didn't like being forced to sit through a lesson that meant nothing much to him. There were times when he could contribute, but often he just doodled in his book, reminding himself of plants he still wanted to give a hand in trying to grow at some point. The list he had filled an entire paper, in four columns, front and back. "I ge--get bored in it, bu--but I do like plan--plants."
Brushing off the thanks, he didn't think it was deserved, he was merely stating the facts. She wasn't someone to be ignored, at least by looks. Maybe she was some kind of evil person, but she was helping him, or maybe she wasn't the brightest, but even then, not all the ones that weren't ignored were too bright.

She smiled as Henry offered to help her with her trunk. Chivalry was always so hard to come by these days. "Sure, thank you!" Her trunk was a little heavy; Sophia could never decide what to bring and what not to bring, so she ended up packing it all.
She picked up one end of her trunk, waiting for Henry to grab the other. She admitted to herself that she hadn't spent the proper time ever getting to know her fellow Gryffindor, but it seemed like they were never in the same place or Henry always seemed to be thinking such deep thoughts that she didn't want to interrupt. He seemed sort of introverted whereas she was as outgoing as can be. Well, who knows what this year will be like? she thought to herself.
"How was your summer?"

As worried as he felt, knowing she was leaving, it felt so comforting having her that close, her arms under his coat just making it feel that much cozier. It would be so easy to tell her not to go and stay there like that until they were too tired to stand up anymore.
But he knew that wasn't going to do either of them any good. No, he didn't want her to go, but he really didn't want to hold her back from reaching her goals either.
"I already said I would," he told her. He had asked Mrs. Hjort if he could still visit, mostly for selfish reasons, but it was nice to know Felicity needed him to check up on the family as well. It gave him a better reason to see the Hjorts other than he missed Felicity and wanted some of Mrs. Hjort's cooking. "I promise I'll get over to see your folks as often as I can and as much as they'll let me."

Though he'd all ready promised a number of times, she didn't tire of hearing it. Knowing he would stop in to see her family and let her know what really was going on, it made her feel slightly better, but the what if of something happening to her mum while she was gone and he wasn't fast enough to getting her home still poured through her mind. At least he had promised he'd do what he could to get her home. That wasn't promising he would get her there, or that he'd be in time, it was just a promise that he'd try his best. Someday that wasn't going to feel all that right and she knew it, but for now it was all she had and she had to look forward to it.
Gently kissing his jaw, Felicity closed her eyes and leaned into Drew once more, wishing she had someone else that knew. Celina had seemed to have changed that summer when they had seen one another a couple of days before, and Felicity hadn't wanted to say anything in front of everyone, nor did she make plans to meet with anyone on the train.
"Will you help me with my things? Get them on the train, I mean?" she asked softly, not wanting to let him go, but knowing she'd be in trouble if her things weren't placed on the express soon. "I can handle Dustan and Sammy, but I need help with my trunk." Her wand was tucked away somewhere near the bottom of it and her change of school robes was in the bag on her shoulders, but she knew she couldn't lift the trunk on her own and get it placed somewhere safe without help.

Abigail listened carefully as Dusten spoke about his plants. The way he spoke about them reminded her about her pets. Artemis was with her but at home she had another cat, two crups, a slew of double ended newts, and various other animals. "Are th-these you're fav-favorite plants or-or are these the on-only ones you could carry?" What kind of question was that? Inside her head she beat herself for such a stupid question. At this rate Dusten would probably figure out how socially inept she is a ran away. Hearing him say thanks snapped her out of her own world. "Anyti-anytime."
"Herbo--Herbology is--isn't o-one of my be-best subj-subjects, either."
Abby tried not to look surprised at this fact. He seemed like he really knew his was with his plants and for him to say he wasn't the best at Herbology really threw her one. As always she nodded and also copied him as he tried to get as much dirt from of the ground. Abby's pale hands were getting quite dirty. With one of her hands she was about to scratch her nose but at the last second remembered that her hands were splotched with dirt. "If her-herbology isn't y-your best cl-class then wh-what is?" One day last semester she saw a girl asking a boy a question much like this and the other girl's results by using this question were very good, something Abigail hoped for.
"I-I'm more of a Care of Ma-magical Cre-creatures person myself. Animals a-are really my-my thing." Abigail shrugged as she said this. She understood animals. They needed love, attention, and nurturing. Animals seemed to get her too. "I-I have a lot o-of pets at home. Ar-Artemis is the on-only one I bro-brought here." She pointed behind her to the calico cat sleeping on the seat. "She-she's my baby. Fi-first pet I got."

"Sure, thank you!...How was your summer?"
"Excellent, thank you..." said Henry, heaving the heavy trunk up into the rack, straining the word thank with the effort of lifting the weight.
Hogwarts trunks were notoriously weighty, although, he figured he could invest a bit more time in exercising his muscles. He wasn't a weakling by a long shot, but he wasn't the strongest guy around either.
Once the trunk was securely tucked away on it's rack, Henry gestured for Sophia to sit in the seat opposite his own with a smile, and sat back down after she had done so. As he sat down, he removed the jacket of the black suit he was wearing so that the long sleeves of his white dress shirt and red and gold striped tie were clearly visible, as was the brown leather holster which held his wand under his left arm. He dropped the jacket into the seat next to him and made himself comfortable in his seat. It had been quite warm in the compartment from the time he had arrived, but he had been so involved in his preoccupied thoughts that he hadn't noticed until he was shaken back into the present by Sophia's arrival.
"Sorry." he said, jerking a thumb at the jacket "It's a bit warm in here for that; I kind of neglected to take it off until now. So..." he settled his hands in his lap, and crossed his legs before turning his full attention to Sophia "...how was your summer?"

He didn't mind telling her again, considering it wasn't often he felt he could promise anything with confidence. He planned to stop by at least once a week, but he knew that by saying he'd go as often as he could, that allowed for a change in plans without breaking his promise. If he thought about it too much, it felt underhanded being so vague, so he just didn't think about it too much.
"Of course," he told her, not wanting to let her go, but knowing he needed to get her onto the train. He kissed the top of her head and grinned down at her. "I thought that's the whole reason why I came

"No, it's not," she whispered softly into him. While it was nice to have the help with her trunk, she could've just gotten a trolley and pushed it along herself. But while it was nice to have him help her, that wasn't the reason she wanted him there. Felicity wanted to be able to say goodbye to him properly rather than just a long hug which was what they'd been doing all summer long. And while it was nice to have his arms around her, keeping her warm and making her feel safe, it wasn't the same as really having a chance at saying goodbye for a long period of time. "And you know it."
Letting her arms fall slowly from around him, she grabbed at his hand, tugging him toward the train to help her settle into a compartment before the train shoved off and he had to leave to get to his interview. "You're going to tell me about your meeting right? Everything about it? And what the building looks like and all?" She hadn't ever been in the Ministry office, as her mum had dealt with everything that was required, and all of her testing hadn't happened until after she started attending Hogwarts, there had been no reason for her to enter.

Jason's dad knocked on the window of his compartment and pointed to the door on the car. Jason got up "excuse me a second" he said to Vanessa. Jason walked out of the compartment and to the car door. He popped he head out the door "yeah, whats up" He asked his father
Jason's father handed him a back leather coat "you forgot this son" Jason's father said
Jason looked at the coat and grabbed it "Dad This isn't my"
Jason's father stopped him "happy early Christmas, your gonna need it before you come home for Christmas"
Jason stepped off the train and gave his father a hug "thanks pop" Jason said
"Your welcome son now get back on that train before it takes off with out you"
Jason Hopped back on the train. and walked back down the corridor. He walked back wards when he caught a glimpse of Delilah. He was gonna pop his head in and say hi but when he herd the voice of another boy, he flattened himself against the wall and listened to part of there conversation, when he saw Delilah hand the kid his coat back, he closed his eyes and shook his head, he walked on and walked back into his compartment. "Damn" he muttered under his breath. He sat down and looked over the coat his father just gave him. He smiled as he ran his hand over the leather and Ravenclaw logo on the chest of the coat.

Anna gave one last smile and wave as Tristan stood back, "Love you too. Take care." With that, she turned around and boarded the Hogwarts Express. Coquito was still restless and really wanted to come out of his cage, but he was just going to have to bahave until the train started moving. However right now the gryff had to find a compartment which was either empty or had people she knew inside. The aisle was cramed with students trying to accomplish the same mission so this was going to be a challenge.

As he saw her board the Express. He turned around and put his hands his pocket. He started to walk off. "With the lights out, it's less dangerous, here we are now, entertain us," he started to sing as he walked on. Noticing some people running to the express. He was gonna miss Hogwarts. But at the same time, he knew he needed to be out in the big world now.

Grabbing up her trunk, he pulled it along as she led him towards the train. It was kind of an odd sensation being there and knowing he wasn't going to get on this time. He considered getting on anyway, apparating back from Hogsmeade once the train reached the school, and giving him a few more hours with Felicity, but he knew he couldn't. Maybe if he didn't have the appointment at the Ministry...
"I'll tell you," he told her, enjoying the fact that she was excited for him. Of course, his favor in return was a bit more on the serious side. "And you'll keep an eye on Jeremy... best you can, right?" Allegra was still in the castle of course, but she was usually stuck in the offices. Jeremy claimed to not like Drew's girlfriend, spouting some nonsense about throwing rocks, but Drew had a feeling that a lot of it was just Jeremy liking the drama of being a pain in the butt.

At the mention of his cousin, Felicity gave Drew a rather odd look. The blonde was quite sure his cousin wasn't all that fond of her, and though she had tried to tell him before, it just seemed to seep past his head and she was sure Jeremy had told him was well, but that too seemed to not reach his ears. Drew was tall, Felicity knew that, but he wasn't too tall to hear what they said. However, she loved Drew so much, she'd likely do nearly anything for him, and watching out for Jeremy would be fun, it'd be like keeping an eye on Freddy, except Freddy actually liked her.
"Of course I will, at least, as much as I can and that he'll let me." Allegra would be at the school so she wasn't sure why he wasn't asking his sister to, but she felt kind of honored he'd ask. "I really still don't think he likes me very much, but I'll do my best to make sure he stays out of trouble." Though she no longer wore a badge, having left it at the castle at the end of the year, she was more than happy to keep an eye on younger ones, maybe they'd help in distracting her from missing Drew. But not too much.
Stepping up on the train, she tugged Drew with her. It wasn't going to leave for another couple of minutes, so he was all right to help her find a place to sit. And finding a place was going to be hard as everyone seemed to have a couple of people in their compartments, and they were all faces she was unfamiliar with...
