[ Physical Character Description: ] Dragos is a tall, lean teenager of Croatian decent. He stands at 6’1” ½ and weighs enough to know that no one would want to tangle with him. Dragos has a very defined jaw line, and a brown spot on his upper lip. Dragos hair as been described as “surfer” hair, but he doesn’t care. It is short and is naturally a very dark brown, but it his highlighted with blonde. His eyes (which are his best and favourite feature) are an odd colour of silvery blue, with a hint of green and yellow.
Dragos has a very laid-back look, which matches his personality. When he is not in a school uniform, Dragos can usually be found wearing Muggle clothing consisting of muscle shirts and “boot cut’ style blue jeans which are never pulled up properly. His favourite pair (that he always wears) are old, faded and have a rip in the knee, but he refuses to throw them out.
On his feet, shoes designed for the Muggle sport of “skateboarding” can be found, which are made by his favourite Muggle brand “Etnies”. As he is big on “skateboarding”, Dragos also has many scars and permanent “road-burn” and his legs and elbows.
As he has lived in so many places, Dragos speaks with a very odd accent. As it was his parents who taught him to speak, he has a slight Croatian accent, as well as an English one, but the most noticeable one is Welsh, having lived in Wales most of his life.
[ Personality Character Description: ] Words to describe Dragos would be loyal, caring, fun, determined, out-going and laid-back, but he is also an exceptionally hard worker. He is kind, honest, brave, and true and a great friend. He would throw himself in front of a curse for one of his friends, and would back them up whenever they needed it. He would not hurt anyone intentionally, unless they deserved it.
While Dragos is very determined, he can also be very stubborn and very difficult at times. When his mind is set, he does not usually change it, unless there is a very good reason. He tried to accomplish everything to the best of his ability, even if the attempt is futile and a normal person would give up. An example of this was when he was younger and “skateboarding” with some of his Muggle friends, and he was so determined to land a trick he had been practicing. After trying it several attempts, all of which were unsuccessful, Dragos would not give up. He ended up breaking his ankle after he tried it one more time, and the attempt was also unsuccessful. He does like to give up, as it makes him feel weak. Dragos is also more of a leader than a follower. While he does not talk very much, when he does, others listen. It has always been like this with Dragos, and he is not about to change ways.
Even though Dragos is almost always a nice guy, he has his days where he would rather be left alone. These days are very rare, but they do occur. On these days, Dragos is moody, irritable and tends to go quiet. Although he wouldn’t normally resort to violence, on these days, it is very possible. Dragos inherited this personality trait from his father. He doesn’t enjoy being so terrible angry at absolutely nothing, so he is trying hard to keep these days down to a minimum, but he does not have totally control over it.
Dragos has also been described as a “lover-boy”. He is always trying to impress the girls, but it rarely works out for him. Try as he might, he becomes very clumsy and often cannot even speak properly when he is around a girl, especially one that he likes. More than once was he distracted by a girl while attempting another “skateboarding trick”, thus falling on his face and cracking a tooth.
[ History: ][/b] Dragomir “Dragos” Miloševic was born on April 10th, 1989 to a Croatian Pureblood wizard by the name of Vlado Miloševic and a Serbian Muggle-born witch by the name of Aleksandra Mirich. Dragos’ parents were never married, but live together as a common-law couple. Dragos is their only one and right from the moment he was born, tried to teach him to be a proud Pureblood, even though he was not one. His mother despised her family for being Muggles, and they were never a part of Dragos’ life. While both his parents are from Eastern Europe, Dragos was born and lived in Western Europe for most of his life.
Moving around was something Dragos got used to at a very young age. He was born in Wales, but lived in England, Ireland and Scotland, all before the age of 7. As a young lad living in Wales, Dragos discovered the Muggle sport “skateboarding”. He had been walking to the store when he stumbled upon a group of older boys rolling around on pieces of wood with wheels on the bottom. He became intrigued, and asked what they were doing. They showed him a skateboard and he tried it out. Immediately he knew he wanted to continue it. He taught himself a few tricks, like how to jump and flip the board around, but he kept it secret from his parents.
As his father wanted him to have the best magical education he could find, he sent young Dragos to live with his grandparents in Croatia and attend Vladislus Magikal Institute. Dragos was able to sneak his “skateboard” (that he had saved up to buy) with him. He was more interested in practicing “skateboarding” than learning how to do magic. Dragos was barely passing all of his classes, as he skipped out on most of them to “skateboard”. However, when the head of the school threatened to expel him, he cracked down and began to work. He couldn’t care the idea of what would happen to him if he was expelled and sent back home to his father. Dragos wanted to impress his father, and he was able to pull his marks up, but he started to slack off again and got himself expelled when he was 14.
Back home in England, his father was somewhat unimpressed. Not wanting to deal with his son, Dragos’ father sent him off to Northern Europe to attend Durmstrang Institute. This time, Dragos tried a lot harder in school, and let go of the “skateboarding” for a while. He was doing well and fitting in, until a few of the other students found out about his mother. Dragos’ father had lied and said Dragos was a pureblood wizard, when really he is only half. As Durmstrang was keen on keeping their reputation of a “pureblood school” and Dragos was expelled from there too.
It seemed that no matter where Dragos went, he was just shut out for one thing or another. The situation at home wasn’t helping matters. Both of his parents were in a Pureblood craze, and Dragos had had enough. Although he was not of legal age to do what he wanted, Dragos left home when he was 15 and made his own way. He moved back to his home of Wales where he found out about another school in Europe. A place called Hogwarts and a place he hoped he’d soon be able to call home.
[ Special talents/knacks : ] Dragos’ magical talent is very limited, but he did take a liking to Charms. It was one class that he never had trouble with, and he always enjoyed the professors he had. His favourite charm, and one he mastered quite quickly, was the charm used to summon an object. This came in quite handy as he could summon his “skateboard” quickly.
He has a vast knowledge of the Muggle world and the way in which is works. He often dresses like one, and has many Muggle friends all over Western and Eastern Europe. Dragos mingled with Muggles more often than he mingled with wizards and witches, but he does have a few magical friends as well.
