To be frank, Sora wanted to do much more than kiss Brittany on her forehead. He physically had to restrain himself from acting on his lesser and more feral emotions. It would just complicate an already delicate situation. He imagined Brittany as a cute, little bunny, where one sudden move can cause her to jolt away from Sora forever. Continuing with his train of images, he saw her in his mind's eye as a full-bodied white bunny, then into her regular self with an enlarged bunny's head, before settling on the image of her with bunny ears wearing a rather revealing dress which caused his blood to rise up to his face.
Focus, he told him himself. He had already taken a very primitive view on where they now stood. It seemed to be such a childish stance for someone to take since it had only been a year where they hadn't seen each other, but Sora really felt that they really were strangers now. A year was a long time, especially for ex-lovers.
Sora continued to grin as he watched her take his hand and introduced herself as well. Thankfully, it seemed that she was going to go along with his craziness. Plus, Sora felt that it helped ease the tension between them. Things between them may never be the same as it used to, but hell if Sora wasn't going to try his hardest to make it all better again.
"Nice to meet you, Brittany Garland. I must say, that is such a wonderful name," Sora replied, failing to stifle his chuckle, "I find it easier to make decisions with another person. If you ever need help in making a tough decision, come to me and I'll try my very best to help you with it."
He plopped down with as much grace as a two-legged centaur. He sat indian-style opposite of Brittany, laying his hands across his lap, the gravel feeling hard against his rear yet he didn't care for it. The night was now quiet as the only people it seemed who was awake in Hogsmeade were getting ready to go to sleep. Time had flown by and mostly all of the shopkeepers were closing their stores. He already knew that the band back in the Three Broomsticks were probably playing their final song,
"What did you think of my singing?" Sora asked, cocking his head. He didn't know why he asked the question but it had been lingering in his mind, "It was my first time singing to a crowd and I felt really nervous."
