It felt great to sit once again. Even in the noisy atmosphere of the pub, sitting was a beautiful thing. But it did not help the headache Cameron had acquired on his journey up to Hogsmeade from London.
"This is for Luke.... you owe him one.... it's for Luke.... he wants to tell you something...."
Well that was more or less true. Luke did want to meet with Cameron, fact. Cameron did owe him one from using his help in moving into his apartment in London, fact. Luke had said, though, that he wanted to "try" something out on Cameron... not specifically tell him something. It seemed an insignificant difference. Doesn't one tell another something when they're trying something out on that person? Unless it was... well, it wasn't that.
Being up in the highlands again brought back memories of his days at FSA. True, Hogwarts and Hogsmeade were a bit of a trek from Fife, the scenary couldn't be much different. There were still cloudy skies and mountains and a whiff of the briny ocean somewhere nearby.
The headache began at work... a likely place... and seemed to increase as the day grew older. Now he was regretting making the engagement to come up from London, but he doubted it'd be better there than here.... He ordered a butterbeer, and sat, waiting for Luke. What was it he wanted to tel... to try out on Cameron? Was he turning into some dark wizard suddenly? No, no. Luke was too placid for evil-doings. Was he planning on leaving the school and going to London to move in with Cameron? No, no. Wishful thinking (Dani had not returned since her initial departure - a rude exit). Was it something worse? Unforseeable? Unspeakable? HAD HE KILLED SOMEONE? No, no. That qualified as evil-doing. WHAT? WHAT then?
