The small group of Ravenclaws had gathered in the Eagle's Common Room and made their way down to the dungeons for their first stop on their Trick or Treating rounds. It was always a little unnerving heading into the Lair of the Snakes, but Drew figured that as a group, they were well prepared. He had stocked up with plenty of Silly String and Dung Bombs just in case the Slytherins tried anything funny.
"Okay, you guys ready?" he asked the others as he looked over his shoulder. "Remember, don't eat anything you get unless you really want to spend the rest of the night as a canary..." With that final warning, he knocked loudly and gave the traditional cry.
"TRICK OR TREAT!"

Tianne was so excited to be going trick or treating once again. It was just something that she loved doing, and to be given the opportunity to see where her boyfriend lived, she really couldn't turn it down, who knows, maybe she'd see Seth on her 'adventure'. It was a funny thing, their relationship, but it was awesome, and Tianne loved it. In her left hand, she carried silly string, and in her right, a bag, for things that they were given.
"Ready, Pirate guy dude." She smiled at her Head Boy. She was slightly nervous to see what the Slytherins reaction, but she knew that Seth would be nice to them, wouldn't he? Boy, this was turning out to be quite the adventure. "I think I'll just wait, so not eating now." She muttered nervously, as Drew knocked on the door and cried.

Armed with an actually green lantern in one had and a pillowcase in the other Autumn was ready for anything. Well, except being a canary. She made a mental note that all candy given to her by a Slytherin should be burned, turned into ash, and spread somewhere far away. Grinning she stepped close to where the Slytherin door should be.
"Trick or Treat!" rang through the halls as she also yelled it along with Drew. Oh boy was she ready for a night to rememeber!

Having giggled most of the way down to the entrance to Slytherin, Layla was glad she had gone all out on her costume. She felt like a mermaid princess descending deeper into the Great Lake. She had indulged herself in a few twirls here and there, taking advantage of her hair and skirt, feeling silly yet content at the same time. Even a few portraits had complimented her, which made her feel the effort had been worth it.
As they reached the lower levels, Layla stood behind the whole group, facing the entrance and bellowed the traditional greeting loudly with her housemates.

Trailing along after the older Ravenclaws, Hannah's eyes brightened when they got to the Slytherin common room. Curious brown eyes wandered around the dungeon area here and there, taking things in as she walked up to where the rest of the Ravenclaws were standing at the place where Brenton lived. "Yup, ready" Hannah replied to Drew quietly, as she tried to peer through the people in front of her, now wondering if Brenton was going to be inside his common room.
Hannah nodded to herself at Drew's warning of not eating any candy from the Slytherins, but figuring some of them wouldn't be pranked-filled. The young girl knew that Trixi lived down here in Slytherin as well, and Hannah had already decided not to touch anything that came from her, if Trixi was inside the common room when the other Slytherins opened up their door.
Standing next to Layla at the back of the group, Hannah threw her a smile as she yelled out trick and treat as well, all the while standing on tip toes in her slippery shoes to get a better look inside the Slytherin common room.

Writing letters, there were absolutely a million things that Emeric Troy would rather be doing. Things like running his hands under a hot iron, getting plowed over by a bus, small things like that. He hated that he couldn't just dictate the letter to someone and have them send it out for him, it was much faster that way. But at Hogwarts, Emeric had to do everything himself. He seethed with anger as he wrote letters to various people who had attended Emeric's annual Return to school party. Sure, it was two months late, but his father had been pestering him via owl and Emeric cracked down and decided to write the letters.
Letters of thanks, letters just to keep up coorespondence, all rather boring and mundane for the Slytherin. He crumpled up the current letter he was working on and started a new one just as he heard a knock coming from the Slytherin common room entrance way. A smirk fell onto his face naturally as he stood up and straightened his tie. He stopped by a table and helped himself to a couple of caramel sweets before walking over to the entrance way and opening it up.
" Forget the pass - " He spoke smugly, ready to tease and ridicule the Slytherin that forgot their own password. His face fell slightly as he noticed that it was a group of Ravenclaws. Halloween? How old were they, four? Emeric recovered quickly and leaned up against the wall to his right. " Trick or treating? " He said with disbelief, his smirk still in place as he looked at the various costumes. Emeric remembered the Ravenclaws doing this so called tradition years previously, but he had never been in the Common Room when they came to Slytherin. This year was the year.

Drew was more than a little disappointed that Charlie, Art, or someone else cool had opened the door. To be sure, Charlie would have still pranked the heck out of them, but at least they wouldn't have gotten the smug attitude the small-fry snake was giving them.
Smirking back from under his Dread Pirate Roberts mask, Drew spoke up at the kid. "That's what it is," he answered. Most Slytherins chose to ignore the concept that it was give a treat or be tricked, but Drew was ready for that inevitability.

Silly string.
Connor had heard that it could be deadly in large amounts. He was preparing to test this theory out and was looking for a guinea pig to test it out on. He looked around for a couple of willing participants to see that no one was really willing. He didn't blame them, there was a certain hazard involved in having a sixth year cover you from head to toe with silly string. He guessed it was because he was mostly asking random first and seconds years if they wanted to partake in a little experiment. None were interested, though, and Connor took his endeavors out into the common room, a bottle of silly string in each pocket.
He spotted one of the younger Slytherins looking out the portraitway and into the corridor at a group of kids. Hearing the familiar voice of Drew, the head boy, Connor extracted his bottle of bright green silly string and held it out in attack position. He wasn't going to spray the Ravenclaws, well... only if they did something first. He walked around the other Slytherin, Emeric was his name or something like that, and pointed his makeshift gun at the head boy. " Can I help ya? " He asked, looking around at all of the costumes.

Jeremy wasn't particularly comfortable about stopping at Slytherin, and while he had been using Drew as a shield during the whole Trick or Treat announcement, Jeremy slunk back farther when the boy opened the door. If Jeremy had ever thought that someone would want to beat him up, it was this kid.
He reminded himself that he was surrounded by bigger kids who seemed pretty nice and besides, Drew wasn't allowed to let anything bad happen to him. Feeling a little safer, he peeked out from behind his cousin, wondering if Brenton was around, but not saying anything when the bigger Slytherin came up as well.

Jax tried her best to peer around all of the Ravens to see what was going on. They'd arrived, knocked, said the customary words, a kid from her some of her classes opened the door, and then Connor came by pointing what looked to be a weapon of sorts at them. Of course, Jax couldn't really see well standing even further behind everyone. She kept tripping over her damn green vines from the pumpkin costume that dragged across the floor because of her small stature. She knew she should have gone with a smaller size. Slightly frustrated, an eyebrow creased as the Slytherin's asked if they could be helped. Jax said nothing, for fear that being a bird would ruin any sort of chance she had at getting to Gryffindor that night. Instead she crossed her arms and stood somewhat crooked, a grin playing on her face the entire time.
What were they going to do... say no? Jax rolled her eyes. Such spoiled sports that would make them...

Claire could somewhat hear voices outside the entrance to the Slytherin Common room as she climbed down the stairs to see what was going on. Taking a peak from above, the snake saw a few Ravenclaws dressed up in...Halloween costumes? Wasn't that something muggles did? Well, whatever they were up to, it looked like Connor was bracing himself with a can of silly string. What did the birds want anyway? She knew traditionally muggle children would go around dressed up in costume and say 'Trick or Treat'. Oh how she and her brother would enjoy hidding in nearby trees waiting to scare them off. Well, if the Ravenclaws wanted something it would be at their own risk. Claire wasn't going to do anything since she saw Hannah from her own year in the crowd.
Climbing down the rest of the stairs, Claire smiled cheerfully as she walked toward the two other snakes. "So, whats going on here? Are these the trick or treaters this year?" Speaking of which, the girl wondered where Trixi had run off too. She wasn't anywhere in the house to be found. Perhaps she would have found this sight interesting.

"Yeah, trick-or-treating," Drew answered, thinking that part should have been obvious at the initial cry of TRICK OR TREAT! True, it was amostly American tradition, but it was something the Birdbrains had done for as long as he could remember.
"We were going to hit up the Huffles and then the Profs next," Drew said, hoping the mention of the teachers would discourage the more drastic of pranks the Snakes might be thinking of. "You guys want to come with? We usually get some good stuff out of the Professors."

Emeric could hardly contain his look of smugness as he took his time looking at all of the costumes. A pumpkin, the Green Lantern, and several other ' interesting ' ones. He opened his mouth to say something more when another, older Slytherin barged around him. He turned, looking at the Slytherin Prefect and wondered why some people were just so rude. Without another word, Emeric turned around and walked back into the guy's dorms. Silly string and Halloween costumes? Again, he foudn himself wondering how old they were.
" Loons... " He muttered more to himself than anything once he was well out of ear shot of the Ravenclaws as well as the two other Slytherins. Honestly, some people... Emeric grumbled all the way to the dorms.

Jax was a pumpkin. Just the sight was enough to send the Slytherin off laughing, but he resisted the urge and grinned instead. His eyes still scanned over the other various costumes, getting a kick out of the whole ordeal. It seemed to be, though, that the younger male Slytherin wasn't having any of it. Connor turned and watched the lad go, shrugging his shoulders. He turned back to Drew as he mentioned something about visiting the Professors next. Connor nodded his head, giving up on the idea of sillystring for now. Maybe tomorrow...
The Slytherin Prefect shook his head, declining the offer to join them. He had some studying to do that he had put off in order to find a victim for his silly string adventure. " Nah, I have some stuff to do. Hold on, though. " He mentioned, looking around the room for the bowl of candy that was usually kept full by various members of the house. Drooble's blowing gum, chocolate frogs, and several other varieties of candy were in the bowl and Connor returned, offering it to the Ravenclaws. " Help yourselves to a couple of pieces. " He said to the lot, figuring he might as well give out a treat rather than get a trick in return.
