Here we go again!
If you are interested in joining the Slytherin Qudditch team, or even a little curious, read this.
As a member of the team for the past three terms (and two years), I've been able to see how a formula for success can be executed. Problem is, the formula may be harder than it sounds, because so many other things come into factor when you don't expect it. But when you actually think about it, it's all very simple. We have to be a team.
So what do you need to know in order to get a win for the Snakes?
1. Learn your Harry Potter, inside and out. You don't have to be a complete whiz at it. I myself haven't finished reading the series. But there are various sources you can use that can help you acheive success in your answers. Mainly, you can use The Harry Potter Lexicon, Google, or your teammates. We are all here to help each other, and that means when you are stuck, count on one of us to help you out of that jam.
2. Be active. I know it's not very easy to do so, but it can go a long way if you can. Usually when a task is given out, we are given a few days to get our answers together and get them sent. If you cannot help with that, please PM me or even IM me at AIM, and I will try to get you an alternate. If you can make it, however, we can make the best of it.
When it comes down to the match, we have to have power in two aspects-- the tasks, and the thread. The former-- the task-- should be done as soon as possible and with complete accuracy. Tasks can be located in the Qudditch Pitch board. So is the thread. We get those squared away, then we can be a real contender.
So what can you do now? If you're still interested, you can sign up for the Slytherin Qudditch Team. As of now, the roster is as follows:
Though it's filled up, we can always use plenty of alternates because each game is different in terms of roster changes. So don't worry about it. If your character is inexperienced, they can train with Charlie or any other team player. If you're inexperienced, you can bet we can help you out.
Remember, PM with any questions or comments.
So you ready?
