Connor stood in front of a mirror in the Slytherin bathrooms, taking his time as he did what he always did before getting ready for classes, brushing his teeth, drying his soaking wet hair from the shower he had just taken, and finally shaving. It was a tedious task, one he didn't look forward to, but he was usually pleased with the final results in the end. The sleepy eyed Slytherin was dressed in his usual sleep wear, boxer shorts and a plain gray colored tshirt. His uniform was sitting in a neat pile at the end of his bed, waiting for him to prepare for the rest of the day.
The teen gave himself a once over, pausing to inspect his lip piercing. It had healed nicely, and he had been lucky that it hadn't rejected like some predicted it would. Suddenly the piercing seemed out of place.
He frowned slightly, and began to unscrew the ball on the ring, loosening it until he was finally able to remove the piercing from his lip. He looked different without it, and he felt different without it as well. It was a strange feeling, because even though he took his piercings out for Quidditch games, he always put them back in. This time, he wasn't so sure if he would be putting them back. He had always liked his piercings, they seemed to define who he was in a sense. Connor looked at himself in the mirror again before taking out his ear piercings as well. He thought he maybe looked a bit more mature without the metal in his face. The teen set the piercings on the edge of the sink and began washing his face. He turned for a towel and caught sight of someone a couple paces over.
