It was late at night in the Hufflepuff Common Room; in fact, it was so late that it was almost tommorow. The grandfather clock rang midnight, and Ivy quietly turned the doorknob of the girl's dormitory. She closed it carefully, holding her breath. Ivy was still in her pajamas and fuzzy slippers and with her back against the closed door of the girl's dormitory, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She needed to be as quiet as she could.
She looked across the hall, where the boy's dormitory was. Ivy looked down, past the winding staircase, at the Hufflepuff common room. It was empty and clean. Good. Hopefully everything would go according to plan. She looked over her shoulder and looked at the closed door of the boy's dorm.
She couldn't help but shiver-- she was nervous for no good reason. Ivy had been planning to do something like this for ages, but had never managed to do it alone.

Kian hadn't been able to sleep that night most likely because he'd fallen asleep sometime during the day outside against a tree. He could tell that had been a mistake as he sat up in his bed his only attire his pajama bottoms and no shirt. It was still a bit chilly but with the warming spells on his blankets he usually got to hot to sleep with his shirt on as wells.
Ruffling his hair he glanced at the clock to see what time it was and groaned softly. The night had barely begun and he allready felt like he'd slept for hours. He rubbed his eyes slightly as he stood up and decided to go find the cookies he'd left in the common room in an attempt that maybe if he filled his stomach he'd be able to get back to sleep. Grabbing one of white shirts he headed down the staircase completely unaware of his surroundings.
His mouth dropped as he realized he wasn't the only one awake, "Ivy..." he said somewhat sleeply, softly, and then suddenly turned a slight shade of pink as he realized he hadn't put the shirt he held on yet. He hastily put it on and buttoned it up as fast as he could. Hoping the whole time that she hadn't noticed his disheveled state upon entering the common room or heard his quiet pronouncation of her name. He seriously hadn't believed he'd run into anyone down there at that hour.

Ivy looked over at Kian, and when she noticed that he wasn't wearing a shirt, she blushed and looked away quickly. She cleared her throat to break the awkward silence but couldn't help herself and smiled. When it seemed that he had finished, Ivy grinned at him and pointed at his shirt. "Hey Kian, I think you mis-buttoned a few..."
Kian hastily buttoned his shirt, and had put some of the buttons in the wrong holes. He looked kind of ridiculous with mis-matched buttons, and fly-away hair. "You look fabulous, I think the I-just-got-up-from-bed or I'm-the-hobo-across-the-street look suits you very well,"
She made her way down the spiral staircase and nodded him to follow her. "Remember what I told you in Potions class?"

Kian's blush returned at the first words that left Ivy's mouth which clearly proved that she had seen and had also apparantly noticed he's missed some of the holes. It wasn't that Kian was bad looking since he didn't look bad without a shirt since he frequently ran he had pretty good abs. But that wasn't the point he was rather modest when it came to such things especially when he knew it was inappropriate.
He couldn't help laughing slightly at Ivy's next words with that his nerves eased back to a comfortable state, "Hobo-across-the-street... damn i must look like crap," Kian said with a slight laugh as Ivy began to make her way down the stairs.
Once she'd turned away from him he fixed the buttons so that they were now in their proper holes though he left it tucked out, "Yeah i remember. You never did get to finish what you were telling me..." he said before grinning as he recalled the antics that had occured, "It truly had been.... entertaining."

"Don't remind me..." Ivy said, not wanting to relive the potions lesson. She would rather just forget about it (actually, it hasn't exactly ended yet, and I have no idea what's coming up). "And don't worry Kian, you don't look that bad..." after walking 1/4 of the stairs, Ivy stopped. She blinked at Kian before shrugging and sitting on the banister so she could slide down it.
"I haven't done this in years..." she said as she let herself go. A spiral staircase was difficult to slide, but Ivy managed to do so. She did fall at the bottom of the stairs, but she didn't get hurt too bad. She looked up at Kian, and as quietly as she could she half-shouted at him. "C'mon Crehonerex, we're both tired and I want to talk 'bout this sometime before breakfast!"

"I don't look that bad," he said with a slight laugh, I can see how that's supposed to boost a guys ego, he thought before letting out an amused sigh as he followed her down the steps until she stopped before him. The former awkwardness had allready been forgotten from his mind by that time and was thankful for the lightness of how things currently were.
"Great why don't you just wake up the whole House while your at it," Kian said amusement laced throughout his voice as he skipped two steps at a time to reach the bottom at a faster pace, "All we need now is for everyone to hear this little discussion." He smiled, "So Ivy i'm present and accounted for. What'd you want to tell me?"

Ivy laughed silently at Kian, there was a certain charm about this boy that she couldn't describe. He was so sweet, it was almost painful. "Sorry," she said, rubbing the back of her head absentmindedly. She sat on the black leather couch and sat indian-style. It was very obvious that Ivy was very excited about this; the Hufflepuff girl was basically glowing.
"Okay, so... I hope you paid attention in Potions class," she whispered to him. "Because for our seventh year prank, we should spike the pumpkin juice with love potion! Just imagine the entire school going bonkers! They'll probably have to cancel class because things will get so crazy." she nodded, wondering what he thought. "It's a bit difficult, but I don't know... what do you think?"
She frowned; maybe it was a stupid idea?

"No reason to be sorry. I now that you were just messing with me since after all i know i look better than 'not that bad," Kian said with a chuckle as he teased her but only slightly. He followed suit and sat upon the couch as well but left a comfortable space for both of them between them before facing her.
It had been a little hard to pay attention... thanks to you and Sora, he thought smiling slightly as he listened to Ivy. He didn't think that it was a bad idea they'd just have to make sure they pulled this off scot-free, "So that's why you love those love potions so much?" he asked raising his eyebrows slightly in amusement.
"Don't look so glum its a good plan. We just have to make sure that no one is able to guess that we are the masterminds behind this. Which shouldn't be so hard since i doubt anyone here expects me to be able of anything like this," he said his smile turning slightly wry.

"That's the beauty in it, isn’t it!” Ivy whispered excitedly, smiling widely. “Who would ever expect a couple of Hufflepuffs?” She had always been annoyed by the stereotypes and perceptions of Hufflepuffs, but this might work to their advantage. “I doubt people would suspect me, since I’m the resident ‘air-head’.” She said in an as-a-matter-of-fact tone.
It wasn’t completely unknown that many of her peers thought about her that way. Ivy wasn’t the brightest bulb of the bunch, but she wasn’t as stupid as she appeared to be. In fact, Ivy could be quite cunning if she wanted. The hat had considered putting her in Slytherin in her first year, but Ivy argued and said that they were quite an ugly lot. Ivy thought the Hufflepuffs were better looking. Dumbfounded, the Hat yelled out Hufflepuff.
“Okay… so this is going to be a major operation. We need to figure out how we’re going to make enough potion for the entire school without anyone finding out. Love potions are banned from Hogwarts, which is a wonder why Jamboreema chose to teach it in the first place…”

"True. Though can't say we're exactly known as the innocent one's compliements of Krissy," Kian said recalling his fellow Huffle who was a bundle of mischief all on her own. "Resident 'air-head'?" he replied with a slight raise of his eyebrows, "The times we've spoken you didn't come off and don't come off as an air-head." He wasn't sure why anyone would think that about Ivy since they'd talked and seen each other in classes she hadn't seemed like one to him.
"Yeah i was wondering about that myself. But it seems Hogwarts does things that other schools wouldn't even consider or think of as appropriate," he said with a slight nod. That was one of the main one's he had remained at hogwarts instead of returning to Spain for his final year with his sister. "Yeah... we'll have to be careful no one can stumble upon our little 'experiment'."

Ivy smiled at Kian, appreciating that he could realize her slightly smarter side. Though, Ivy was different with Kian-- she was comfortable around him, and she could become more natural. "Thank you," she muttered, blushing slightly before shaking her head and continuing on with the scheme.
"So any ideas... where could we go to store lots of potion, but no one will find us?" she tried to think of any place that was secret enough for them to hide, plan, and make enough potions. Ivy wasn't very good at finding things at Hogwarts anyway. The place moved so damn much that the second you look back to take a closer look, it wasn't there anymore.

"Your welcome," Kian replied with a grin catching her slight blush when she'd replied. He didn't know why it should surprise her that he didn't think she was an air-head.
Thinking of a place for them to hide all that potion was going to be difficult since alot of people that had been there for years knew the school from top to bottom. Kian had just transferred their the last semester of the year before, "Hmm. What about in a professors office that is vacated. For example if theirs not currently a professor for that subject." He'd offered with a slight shrug as he thought it over.

Ivy blinked at Kian, “Wow, that’s a really good idea! No one ever goes over there, not even the caretaker, but then again, I’m not too sure if we even have a caretaker.” This was perfect! Now they had a ground space for the Crehonerex-Xin Experiment. “Okay, so we currently don’t have a divination and charms professor…”
She wrote down notes in her notebook but made sure to use concealing ink in case someone actually happened to find it. It was clear on the expression of Ivy’s face that she was ecstatic about this. She could just imagine the entire school under a love spell. The thoughts of several girls chasing down someone like David Young nearly brought tears to her eyes.
“Now we need the ingredients for the potion.” Ivy held out her long ivy wand in the air. “Accio Potions book!” A thick book titled Advanced Potions Making came flying down from the Hufflepuff girl’s dormitory and landed neatly and softly on Ivy’s lap. She moved closer to Kian so that their legs touched and they could share the book. One side of the book was on Kian’s lap, while the other side was on Ivy’s.
She licked her index finger and flipped through the index in the back of the book. “Let’s see… love potions, love potions, love potions,” she muttered under her breath. “Ah! Here it is, it’s the potion we learned to make in class. Simple, yet effective.” The book contained many types of love potions, even Amortentia, the most powerful love potion in the world… but for Ivy and Kian’s purposes, a simple one would work the best.
“Most of these are easy to get. Except the moonstone and the feathers. Those will be harder to get, right? Unless you have them. I suppose we could try to go to Hogsmeade and get them… But how are we going to get enough?”

"I guess we could check out all three spots to decide which would suit us the best for our little project," Kian replied with a smile warming to the idea Ivy had proposed. He merely smiled when he'd noticed that she was carefully taking notes of everything they discussed in a notebook he supposed it was a good idea as long as no one else could read them. He was just glad he wouldn't be one of the people placed under a love spell or he wouldn't be able to enjoy the affect it had on everyone else.
He looked up as Ivy's book came at her summons to land upon her lap. He adjusted himself slightly where he sat as Ivy moved closer so that the book was now jointly resting upon them. Kian skimmed the lines of the page as Ivy rested upon the one that would suit their very purpose and quickly read through the ingredients they'd need.
"Yeah," he agreed with a slight nod as his expression grew thoughtful. "I'm pretty sure i have Jobberknoll feathers somewhere from when i used to live in Spain but... I don't have Moonstone and i don't think i have enough for a school wide experiment," Kian concluded as he thoughts over what he had as for as ingredients went for potions. "I know getting enough is going to be a problem especially since we don't want to be placed under suspicion."

"D'you think we'll be able to order some in through mail? Are they checking the mail?" she said, thinking about it. "But that'll leave a paper trail, no? Or maybe we can sneak into Hogsmeade or..."
So many ideas running through Ivy's head, and she didn't know where to start or begin. She rested her head in her hands and thought about it for a moment. "Well...so, we'll check up on the classrooms. Then we'll have to figure out a way to get enough ingredients. It doesn't have to be much, only a bit that'll last for an hour or so, right?"
