It was a good day for Quidditch. Much better than it had been all year. The sun was shining, a light breeze blew, and most of the mud had dried up. Who could complain about the weather today?
Standing in the middle of the pitch, Ryder glanced around the huddle of Snakes and Lions on either side of him as gave his usual speech. He doubted most would care whether he told them to play fair or not, they'd do what they wished. but he felt it his duty to give his schpeal.
Once he was done, the man kicked the box open and blew his whistle, signaling the start of the game before he mounted his own broom and took flight, flying level with the teams where it might be easier to watch their doings.

"He does know about the roster change, right? I ain't going through no penalty shot again." Charlie asked Reina with a raised eyebrow as she took off in the air. Though she didn't have time to even let Reina respond, as her kick jump-off got her a lead at the quaffle.
Yes... read it right. The quaffle. There were a few changes made, and although they were non-threatening, it gave Charlie a leap in her heart. All the night training served a purpose, as she had been secretely training for the chaser position. And when one of the chasers were out, she could have sworn it was heavensent. Despite being out of the loop because of the little fact that she had been in Deputy Raynor's body, she was determined to make it all up, even training a little bit in the early morning.
Extending everything from waist up, she took hold of the quaffle with her fingers. She had just about dropped it if it weren't for the quaffle being aligned with her broom.

Brittany had been giving the usual pep-talk speech to her team before the game. She was very nervous about it since there had been a lot of roster changes made. The team hadn't practiced together at all and she was going on pure chance. If they won this game it would be a miracle and an amazement. It wasn't that she didn't believe in her team, it was the fact that she had been so disorganized and off in the past month. Though she was going to try and not let those things effect her. Especially not today.
Looking over to the ref as he went over the basics, she gave a confident smile towards her fellow teammates. "Let's do this," Brittany stated as she spun on her heal and mounted her broom. Gripping at the top of the wood, she watched the man kick open the box and the balls fly out. They were off and in the air, taking positions. Seeing the Slytherin had caught the quaffle first, she sped after Raynor....who was really Charlie. It was all so confusing since the switch, though she knew that it was Charlie.
Speeding off after her, she wondered how good the girl would be able to play. It would be considerably different being in a completely different body that your not used to. She imagined it would be very complicated, though Charlie seemed unphased by it. Concentrating on the game, she leaned down and caught up to the edge of the Slytherin girl's broom.

Young Lilith made her way to the Quidditch pitch after a long day of exploring the school. She had just come out of her common room, and heard about the game that was going on. Slytherins vs. Gryffindors, the ultimate rivals.
Racing up the stairs of the dungeons and outside of the school to the pitch, she made it just in time. She found her way to the stands and sat on a bench aside some other Slytherin students she did not know.
Wearing her silver and green scarf and holding a house flag, she began to cheer. "Slytherin Slytherin GO GO GO, Slytherin Slytherin shoot a goal!" Sure, it sucked, but she was no cheerleader. She conjured the image of a snake with her wand and pointed it straight into the sky. Harmless, but supportive!

Reina swung at Charlie, but it didn't do any good. The girl was already gone and she had the quaffle. Reina whooped and kicked off speeding after ... BRITTANY! Reina growled and hoped the wind didn't fling her words back in her face.
"Watch Out, Charlene! You got company!"
Reina looked around for a beater! Charlie needed Brittany to get off her back!

Daniel had regretted for forgetting probably the most important object to the game. No, it wasn't his broom or his broom. Daniel had slept in, (blame the all the bloody homework) and forgotten his glasses. Good Merlin.. he mused to himself as he narrowed his cobalt eyes in suspicion for he saw a flash of red around two green.
Why did they have to change the roster on him? Charlie wasn't even his 'partner' in the game anymore. It would certainly be a miracle if he could see the bludgers and what-not. Hovering around, he narrowed his eyes further and saw Miss. Garland chasing after Charlie. Oh what fun. He would probably end up hitting either Charlie or Reina in the process of trying to kill knock Brittany from her broom.
Daniel dashed (not the quickest) after a bludger that had narrowly missed his right ear, and hit it in the general direction of the red flash of Quidditch Robes, generally after Brittany.

"Crud!" Charlie looked back to confirm Reina's comment. Grasping the quaffle close to herself, she started wagging her broom's tail. The wagging eventually became zig-zagging as she willed her broom to go faster, until she made a long right, waving to Reina franctically so she could have a touch at the quaffle.

Nico sighed. He didn't know what he was thinking especially since he was so new to the game. All he knew he was supposed to do was hit the flying balls at the other team. Easy task, except Nico was stil learning how to fly. "This suxs man!"
Nico eventually got his broom to hover in the center of the field. He caught sight of a bludger flying towards him and with all his might swung it for Brittany. Now she had two bludgers going after her. "Yeah! Get her! Geeeeeeeeet Her!"

Anna arrived at the Gryffindor locker room and changed into her Quidditch robes. After listening to Britt's prep talk she grabbed her broom and headed out to the pitch with the rest of the team. After the man relesed the balls, she jumped off the ground and flew into the air. Holding her beater bat, she flew around close to the chaser to make sure they weren't hit by any bludgers.
Seeing two bludgers on a straight course for Britt, she turned around and hit one for one of the Slytherin chasers. "Britt! Watch it!" she shouted as the other when passed her.

{So I'm to assume that Anna is racing beside Brittany?}
Reina didn't know what move Charlie was doing. It looked like a cross between a chicken and hailing a taxi. Reina shook her head and sped up. Reina leaned low against her broom and was able to speed between Brittany and Anna. Reina try to bump Ana and throw her off as she did so.
"What are you doing?!"
Reina zoomed past Charlie and tried to make herself open for a pass from Charlie if that was possible.

Lauren hovered above the others slightly, watching them zoom around for the quaffle. She knew she wasn't there to watch the game, but it was only the start, so she watched for a moment. She was new to this, adjusting to her broom and keeping an eye out for the snitch. She questioned herself over and over again in her head, why did she take this position.
Enough messing around, time to find the snitch, she told herself. Again she was distracted by the game going on around. How do they keep there concentration?
"Pass it!" Lauren hollered. Stop! she yelled at herself, again looking for the snitch.

Jason walked out to the pitch a few minutes before the game started. He sat down and waited for the game to begin holding a flag to show he was cheering on Gryffindor. When the game began he jumped out of his seat waving the Gryffindor flag. "Go Gryffindor! Lions for the Cup!" he shouted.

It was her first game, but she was confident she could do just fine. She listened to the pep-talk from the Captain, and the one from the ref later on. She returned Brittney's smile and nodded just before she kicked off from the ground.
The Game had started and things were going well until both bludgers were hit directly at Brittney. She noted Anna had swung at one, but the other continued its course. Rael swung her brrom around from where she was and managed to get between the bludger and Brittney just before it hit the girl. Rael swung hard and directly at the bludger, a smiled spread across her lips. The bludger had been aimed well, right at Reina.

Daniel had been watching the two shoot the bludgers in opposite directions, and his own cobalt eyes caught the older Gryffindor beater's bright blue for a split second before he dashed over to the bludger the girl had shot and shot it off towards another flash of red; the Gryffindor seeker. He couldn't really see who it was, no doubt he didn't know who the girl was anyways. Daniel flew a bit higher, so he could see the game from above, after all, he could see better further away then not.

Anna gripped onto her broom tightly to prevent her from falling. Doing a slight roll over on her broom, she managed to get right back on track. Seeing that the other bludger was hit away from Britt she smiled. The part that was even better was that it was hit toward Reina. "Serves her right for trying to knock me off my broom." she thought. She couldn't let that distract her though. She still had to help protect the other players from the bludgers.
