When it seemed the Slytherins were getting themselves back in the game, and the Blake boy hadn't left the field, Corey was left to assume he was still able to play. Or, he was just stubborn. And so he was the first to break the huddle, returning to the hoops.
"Guess its game on chaps!" He called out with a small grin. The moment was over quickly though as his broom-pacing continued once again.

Nic was ready to slam his bat at the bludgers when they backed up and hovered over the field. Nic was so entranced with what was happening to them knowing they were going to attack him when he looked the other way that he didn't notice what was happening on the ground.

As best he could, Ryder quickly bound the boy's hand and wrist with an easy spell that would give it a little support, though would not make it completely immoble nor impervious to pain. It should help, yes, but not as well as the nurse might be able to do.
"Alright, back on your brooms," the man hollared. Mounting his own, he blew his whistle to set the game in motion once more.

(Who are we saying has the quaffle? Don't want anyone mad at me now...lol)
At the sound of the whistle Brittany was off and up in the air. Trying to refocus her thoughts and get her head back in the game so that she would at least be able to fly straight. The whole timeout she had been beating her self up about how horrible she was. But she could dwell on her mistakes later, now she was needed to be a captain. Even if... The girl's concious tried to overpower her but she shook her head confirming the thoughts had fallen to the ground way below her.
"Deryn keep a sharp eye, Anna keep up with the bludgers, Corey watch those goals! Let's finish this!" Brittany called out to her team. Only speaking to the first few players that she caught eyes with and then quickly getting back into the game.

"Aye, captain," Deryn hollered, but then realized she just sounded like an idiot. Silently, she flew off to circle the pitch again, searching for the Snitch. She was still angry that it had been so close, but she missed it. Alright, don't think about that. You'll get it this time, Deryn encouraged herself. "Let's do it!" she yelled, to no one in particular, but more to psych herself up. Hovering around, Deryn's eyes were on a constant search for the Snitch.

"Let's roll, people!" Charlie got away from Sora and got up in the air again. Prompting her idle players, she saw the other team's seeker already try to search for the snitch. Would be a perfect shot to hit a bludger at, she thought maliciously, her eyes lighting up like fire as the game gave her a second chance to do some damage and take some names.
Getting to Lauren, she told her, "Forgettabout that girl. The snitch's yours. Got me?" Lauren nodded and began her own quest to go for the gold. "Alright, people! Nothing else to see! Let's make us some fur skins right here!" She raced towards the chasers again.

"You got it Britt!" Anna shouted. She began to fly off with the chasers, keeping a sharp eye out for bludgers and holding her bat. At first she couldn't see any bludgers coming toward them but then she finally saw not to far away from them. Seeing the Slytherin players catching up to the Gryffindors, she flew straight toward the bludger and smacked it straight for them. Quickly she looked at Deryn to see if she was alright and them flew back to the chasers but also keeping her distance just in case.

Watch the goals... Honestly, what else was he supposed to do, steal the quaffle. He was the keeper and sadly, knew his job. And while he'd rather be out there doing something more, in the frey, so to speak, guarding the hoops was just as important and he knew it. It was kinda crazy, and Jones had done her, pep talk, or whatever all that yelling had been and was now zooming to meet the Lion chasers.
It was gonna get hectic again.

Daniel just hovered around for the time being, squinting at everything. Out of all the days he had to sleep in (which he never did), why did it have to be today. Daniel had been thinking around the same lines as Charlie, for the moment that he saw a person looking for a snitch off in the distance, he began to contemplate which Bludger was closer and not going as fast. Going after the one a bit to his right, he hit the bludger at the Gryffie seeker. Even though he wasn't sure it was the seeker.

At the whistle, Rael took back off into the air, ready to start the game again. She heard Brittney's words and knew she meant them for all of the team. Rael did a semi-circle and her eyes caught Daniel hitting a bludger out toward Deryn. She flew up and swung at it, hitting it off course and back toward the same Slytherin it had just come from. Rael flew off toward another area on the pitch.

Daniel thought it was very stupid of the Gryffindor to do, to hit the bludger back in Daniel's direction, because he could just as easily hit it back at the seeker. Which he intended to do, therefore, he shot it off at the very same red blob as before. Perhaps she wouldn't be as lucky, which was unlikely.

A smile spread across Rael's lips. Daniel had done exactly what she wanted, when she had hit it back at him it was because she could not get the right angle on it. This time was different though, from where she was she could easily hit the bludger at the Slytherin chasers. Rael sped off after the bludger and hit it hard once more. This time it was aimed at Charlie.

Daniel hadn't seen this coming, for he could barely see at all. He hoped Nic was out there in that direction, after all, he was much too far from the chasers to do so. The other bludger however that was planning to hit him, Deej hit towards Deryn's back which quite incidently was facing the opposite way.

WHAM! Yet another Bludger had come out of no where, but this time, his Deryn square on the back of her head. She had been facing the opposite way, searching for the Snitch when the Bludger hit her. She didn't have time to turn around to see who had shot it at her. She screamed in pain and a stream of profanities came steadily out of her mouth. Her eyes started to water and she blinked furiously, trying to clear them. Desperately trying to stay on her broom, Deryn brought it closer to the ground. As she neared the ground, she started to feel a little dizzy. The Bludger had hit her harder than she thought. Eyes rolling in her head, Deryn slipped off her broom and crashed to the ground. Everything went black.

Anna had been flying close to the chasers when she looked behind her to see Deryn get hit by a bludger. "Deryn!" she shouted as she fell to the ground. Anna flew forward and shouted to Britt saying, "Britt, Deryn's been hit! She on the ground!" she hoped that she heard her so they could possibly call a time out again.
