"Oh Yes and always," Verina said with a smile as she continued to pet the little fur ball now curled up on her lap, "I would hope so," she said with a sweet smile as she looked up from the kitten to Jack. One thing she really liked about Jack was that even if she had been feeling a little down he always managed to make her laugh or smile and in some cases both.
"So my little Schemer," she said somewhat playfully, "You gonna give up your ways for a while and help me try to sneek this little rascal out?" she asked quietly leaning closer to him just a bit so no one would over hear them.

“Absolutely.” Jack said. He was up for anything and scheming was just what he seemed to need to break up the monotony of sitting and waiting for class to start. So far he had been pretty entertained but now he was sure to be. They would have to think this thing out though because of all the professors that was likely to take anything like this well Bloxam didn’t seem to him to be one. “So any ideas as to how we get this little fur ball out of here?” he asked, keeping his voice down.

"Must i think of everything?" Verina teased giving a mock exasperated tone, "Well first things first do you think he's placed a spell on these little guys so they can't leave the room?" she asked thinking quickly since she hadn't seen any of the cats so far drift outside into the hallway and usually you couldn't keep so many contained in one closed up area. She knew they had to take this one step at a time so they wouldn't mess up anywhere in their planning.

"No I think it is more likely that he placed a spell on the door so that the little guys can't get out." Jack said thinking about how he had seen one of the cats propelled backwards when he had went to enter the classroom. "He seems a bit lazy so I bet he would have go through all of the work to put a spell on each cat." he continued with a small laugh, "I don't think that it will be getting it through the door that is the problem. I think that it is going to be getting it past Bloxam that is going to be the tricky part. Hopefully he won't have a head count on how many cats he has."

Pat entered the Transfig room, an inquisitive look on his face. The smell of cats had drifted all throughout the corridor, and there had been no other explanation for it except this; the sight of a mob of kittens only confirmed such. Well, I guess we know what we're gonna be workin' with today, Pat thought. Pat himself, loved kittens, having one of his own; the smell of this many at once was slightly overwhelming, but it was tolerable.
Looking around the room, Pat saw not too many people were there as of yet. The Professor, Jack and Verina, as well as Lauren. Pat decided to sit near Lauren for this period; he hadn't spoken to her for a while, may as well catch up if they could. "Hey there, Lauren," Pat said, taking a seat nearby. "Have a good break?"

"Yea, your probably right," Verina said as she tried to think about how they'd be able to sneak the little guy out. First off she didn't have a bag since like an idiot she still hadn't bought one so it wasn't like she could put him there, "I guess i could try putting him in my cloak," she said with a slight frown as she looked down at herself, "Not sure if he'd go unnoticed i'd say in a pocket since he is little but so are my pockets... don't got a bag so that wont work. I don't know," Verina said as she tried to think of more things and while she did said, "What about you any ideas?"

"I guess we could always tuck him in my bag and see if anyone notices." Jack said with a smile looking down at his half empty bag. There was plenty of room in it for the cat to fit the only problem would be getting the cat to sit still long enough to get him out of the room without Bloxam noticing. "The only thing is keeping it calm enough so that we don't get caught. It wouldn't look good if on the way out my bag was meowing and flying every which way." Jack said with a little laugh. "But I guess if we did get caught we could always say that it snuck in there some how and we had no idea that it was in there."

Verina followed Jack's eye to his bag, "Hmm almost seems like you knew we'd be planning this little cat napping today," she said with a smile as she looked back up to him, "True. No our whole cover would be blown if that happened and the little guy might hurt himself," she said one side of her lips twitching with contained laughter, "We could do that and after all he is small and their is more than enough room in your bag. I think that excuse might just work since kittens are curious when their young."
Now they just had to think of a way to keep the little furball calm because though they may have an excuse still would be better to avoid using it. "I have a candy in my pocket but not sure that would be best... hmm... a toy might be a better bet. Something that a curious kitty would be entertained with at least long enough for us to get out of the room."

Lauren turned to Pat. Holy licorice snaps, those two could go. Lauren didn't even find a time to say hello, and because of the fact that they plain ignored her, she didn't feel that they deserved a hello. She refused to give it to them, if they ever wanted one. Someone to break the ice, anyone.
"Hey. Yeah, it was okay I guess. I didn't do much, but wasted time around here. What else?" Lauren didn't lie. Her vacation was uneventful for the most part. Her and Ash just messed around school, but they could do that during school too. "What about you?"

“Nope. Didn’t think of a cat napping, but I always like to be prepared for anything.” Jack said with a grin. The truth was that he always lugged his book bag with him and in this instant it just happened to come in handy, instead, of being just a pain in the butt and one more thing he had to carry.
“Sure lets put a kitten on a sugar buzz in my book bag.” he said unable to suppress a laugh. That is all they needed is for the cat to eat the piece of candy and have the sugar send it into a frenzy. He could only imagine what it would do in his book bag, let alone to all his other supplies that would be riding with it on the way out. “I think the toy idea is better, but what?” he asked looking through his book bag again to see if maybe there was something in there that the cat could entertain itself with. Jack didn’t really have any idea what would keep a kitten busy for a while.

"Would be kind of funny though to see what he could get himself into," Verina said with a small laugh imagining just what the little kitten could possibly do to all of Jack's things, "On the plus side since he's still a kitten his nails aren't big enough to cause to much trouble," she said with a wink and then a grin, "Yes so do i," she agreed as Jack began to dig around in his bag for anything they could use. Verina in turn began to look in her cloack pockets for anything she might be carrying on her.
"I don't know," she said frowning slightly since she herself had never had a kitty before but she had had friends that did so she knew a bit about them, "Well yarn, string, balls, anything fluffy... i think," Verina said looking in her pockets.

"Yes, but I bet it would just pinpoint my homework and rip it to shreads leaving me trying to explain what happened to it to my professors. I can see it now, 'Sorry professor but a cat, I was stealing, ripped up all of my homework so do you mind if I hand that to you later on?'" Jack said laughing slightly as he altered his voice slightly as he began his excuse.
Jack still looking in his bag noticed a pink fluffy ball with silver glittering tips at the bottom of it. He couldn't believe it his cat must have batted it into the bag when he wasn't looking. Not really sure whether or not he wanted take it out and share it with Verina he said as he hurried and shut his bag removing it from site, "It doesn't look like I have anything."

Verina tried her best not to laugh as Jack went on to put on a pretend conversation to one of his professors, "I think we could leave out the whole stealing the kitty part," she said amusement twinkling in her eyes as she looked at him the kitten now purring peacefully for the moment on her lap.
Having not found anything that could be useful to them she waited to see if maybe Jack had found something. Verina had thought she'd seen something pink in his bag and had written it off as just her imagination up until the point that Jack shut his bag rather quickly and then his quick reply, "What are you hiding in there?" Verina asked as a mischevious smile came to her lips as she reached toward Jack's bag, "Come on show me," she said taking on her sweetest tone.

“What am I hiding?” Jack said thinking to himself then answering rather unconvincingly, “Nothing really, just a couple of books and pieces of parchment, that’s all.” He really didn’t want her finding out that he had a pink ball in his bag because he could just imagine what she would say. When she reached towards his bag he pulled it further out of her reach. She would have to come and get it if she really wanted it. “Its nothing really. Just trust me on this one.” Jack said smiling unconvincingly.

"I don't believe you," Verina replied her interest growing by the second with each one of his reactions. She carefully moved the kitten from her lap and onto her desk without waking him, "And you can trust me," she said scooting forward on her seat so that her knees were now touching his since that was the closest she could get without getting off her chair. With a mischevious smile she reached for his bag once more this time catching a corner of it, "Come on.. show me," she said taking on a pout as she looked up at him.
