“Ya then I wouldn’t have to worry.” Jack said with a smile. If it was a slipper though he wouldn’t have the excuse that they had come up with earlier in the conversation. How could a slipper become interested in his bag and accidently find its way in there. It couldn’t. It would have to be placed there on purpose. Another thing worried him about if they transfigured the cat into a slipper just to sneak it out. What if they couldn’t get it un-transfigured? Now there was a question. Verina would have a fluffy slipper instead of a kitten.
“I think we should still stick with the kitten and not the slipper idea. That way we are sure to come out with a whole kitten in the end.” he said with a little laugh.

((hmm, ditto pat))
Giving a shrug, it was expected. Holidays were only fun if you had things planned, and Lauren hardly ever had plans.
"Eh, I could beat them if you want." She told Pat. She was half-joking seeing as her build wasn't much of a bully-type. Still, she could probably make living with her uncomfortable or less than fun. Of course, she'd probably end up doing that sooner or later, at least to Nic. Arty, he was adorable, but she'd never say that out loud. It just wasn't her.
"I wouldn't have a clue. We seem to be using a ton of cats, or just any animal, lately. Don't you think?"

(( U#Y$%*! Four pages?! @_@))
The Raven hurried into the transfiguration classroom in a hurry. She seemed to always be late to this particular class. The annoying moving staircases had gotten her off track this time. She didn't understand why the builders of Hogwarts would ever put in moving staircases- they were annoying and somewhat pointless.
She fell into the nearest seat and began to set out her many supplies.

Now it was Anna's turn to come running into another class. Actually, she didn't know if she was late or not but still. What was going on with her lately? It was a rare even that Anna was actually late for class so why was she starting now? Well, whatever the reason Anna didn't really care. Going to bed at three in the morning was proving not such a brilliant idea. maybe she should stop fooling around until that time. Now it was time for Transfiguration and Anna threw her stuff into a seat and sat down. "Wonder what's going on?" she thought.

((Yes, four pages. The Ravendor couple are quite chatty together. )) Pat's smile widened a little as Lauren suggested that she beat her two fellow Snakes up. "Nah, don't worry about it," he said, running a hand through his hair. "They didn't manage to steal him, so s'all good. At least with me." Lauren's next comment was certainly a valid one though. "Yeah... good point," he said, looking around at the cats again. "I wonder what we're turning them into..." he thought aloud, trailing off. He hoped they didn't end up doing anything that would hurt the cats. He didn't think they would be, but there was always the possibility...

"Yes true," Verina said with a smile as the kitten purred on her lap now roused from its short nap, "I'm not sure i'd want fluffy slippers i'd much prefer to have the little guy. So yes lets stick to keeping him whole." She wasn't bad at transfiguration and actually was pretty good at it so she thought she could probably change the kitty back but it was better to be safe than sorry in this particular case. Even moreso since it wasn't an inanimate object, "Now just to see if we can pull this off," Verina said with a grin.

(Sooo your point is? ;D )
"Keeping it whole it is, but first we have to find a way to hide him until the end of class or Bloxam may want you to transfigure him considering your already holding him." Jack said smiling and pointing at the little guy in Verina's lap.
"I am sure we will be able to," Jack said grinning slightly and looking down at the cat and then over towards Bloxam to see if there was any hint that class was to start soon.

( like you wouldn't do the same if Krissy was in our year ) Verina's eyes widened slightly, "I hadn't thought about that," she said a slight frown coming to her lips as she looked down at the little kitten now sitting on her lap, "I don't know where we could hide him... But if i do transfigure him do you think he'd have us transfigure them back before the lesson was over?" she asked hoping it was so because that might be easier to trying to think of a spot to hide the furball. She smiled in reply to his next statement.

“I don’t know.” Jack said with a slight frown. “It could go either way. I am not sure that we will have enough time to transfigure it and then change then back though. So it’s a risk that you’ll just have to take if you decide to use him. And if we run out of time just hope that the object you have transfigured him into will fit into my bag and we’ll have to try and set him right once we leave the class. ”
He still thought that hiding him would be their best bet considering it looked as if Bloxam had more then enough cats to be getting on with. Racking his brain to think of a good spot he decided that they could always try his bag. “I guess we could try and stuff him in the bag before hand and hope that he is preoccupied long enough until everyone has selected a cat to transfigure. Then it really wouldn’t matter if he was back out until the end of class.” Jack said with a smile.

Verina knew that everything that Jack was saying was true and he was making alot of sense. If she thought about it she had to agree that most likely they wouldn't have time to turn all the cats back to normal, "Hmm... well that might work especially since he seems a little sleepy right now," she said as she scratched the kitten behind the ears. Though kittens were very curious she figured that like little babies they got sleep.
"Only thing is is that we have to make sure he has enough air in there," Verina said with a slight frown since it was one thing to just carry him outside the classroom but another to have him in their until class got under way and everyone had chosen a cat. Though she did agree that that was the far better plan, "I suppose you can just not close it completely but just enough so he can't make a run for it."

“Sounds like a good idea to me. Now just hand the little guy over and I will stow him away for the time being.” Jack said with a smile reaching out his hand so that Verina could lay the kitten in it. He was sure that the kitten would be fine. After all it wasn’t that long that he would have to be in there anyways and Jack would definitely make sure to leave the bag open enough so that air could get in. “I’ll definitely leave the bag open a crack so that he can still breath.” he continued reassuring Verina that the kitten would in fact be fine.

Ash had certainly took noticed to the cats prowling around the classroom. She had never been fond of felines, mostly because they were the ones that stalked Pocko, just trying to nab him for a quick meal. She hissed at one that had taken the liberty to prance onto her lap. Ash pushed it, off, suddenly very protective of the rat, hiding in her pocket.
She took grasp of him, looking here and there, cautious of any cat that may have caught scent of lunch.

Verina bit her bottom lip slightly as she lifted the kitten of her lap and gave it a small kiss on the nose. She looked at Jack and nodded since she trusted him, "Okay see you soon," she said with a smile as she placed the little bundle of fur into Jack's waiting hands. "I know you will," she said her smile remaining as she looked at Jack. Her eyes then drifted to the rest of the class barely realizing for the first time how many people had in fact allready shown up, "Wonder when class will start."

Jack took the kitten from Verina and gently he placed the little fur ball into his bag, making sure that when he zipped it up there was a small opening to allow the kitten to breath. He had also made sure that the pink fluffy ball was out in the open enough so that if the kitten got a bit restless he could play with it and keep himself entertained. Jack was just hoping against hope that the kitten wouldn’t make too much of a racket in his bag and that the teacher wouldn’t notice one of his kittens missing.
Sitting back up and looking around he saw that more students had arrived during Verina and his little scheming. “Hopefully soon.” he said with a smile turning his attention to see what the Professor was doing. He thought that the sooner the class started the sooner they could take the kitten back out of the bag and the less likely the kitten would be to get over-excited or rambunctious.
“So what are you going to name him?” Jack asked turning his attention back to Verina and away from the Professor.

"Oh!" Verina exclaimed though managed to keep her voice low at his question. That hadn't been something she'd thought about yet and she still didn't have any ideas. Also she wasn't sure if it was good getting her hopes up too much since they still hadn't pulled off getting the little kitten out of the class. But at the same time she didn't doubt her and Jack's ability to do something if they set their minds to it.
"I don't know," she said with a grin her expression turning somewhat pensieve, "I'm not sure i allready got Frosty and Brownie," Verina said with a smile thinking of her owl and siberian husky back home, "Their name's just kinda came to me... though they are pretty similar," she said with a slight laugh since they both had to do with deserts.
