Dragos had retreated to the towers after everything that had happened in the Entrance Hall. Maybe coming back really hadn't been the best idea. He should have just gone back to Croatia when he had the chance. Now he'd have to wait until the end of seventh year before he could go. Great.
Sitting on the edge of the wall that surrounded one of the towers, Dragos leaned against the side with one leg dangling over the edge and one leg pulled up to his chest. It would have been more comfortable if he hadn't been so damn cold. Sighing, Dragos looked out at the night sky. There were many stars out, and usually Dragos loved to just look at them. But tonight, something was different. It just wasn't right. The Croatian boy let his head rest against the cold hard stone and he just gazed, trying to figure out how he was going to get out of this.

Ivy, who had been finishing some Astronomy homework, took a moment to look away from Jupiter's moon to look at a boy who seemed to be down. She put down her quill and parchment and walked up to him. She moved her head sideways to smile at him softly, so she could get a better look at his face.
"Y'know, it's not very good to lay like this... you might catch a cold!" she piped up, taking her coat and offering it to him. "Especially when it's a winter night like this... no, I don't believe being ill is a good thing." She looked up into the sky, to see what he was staring it. Probably nothing. Should she meddle into his business? Of course. "Mind if I sit next to you?"

Dragos looked up when he heard a cheerful voice. A face met his eyes. A pretty one, one he hadn't seen before, but then again, he'd been gone for a while, and probably missed a lot. Sighing and trying to smile politely, Dragos denied the offer of her jacket, but moved himself so she could sit down. "Keep your coat, but have a seat," he replied.
Turning his head back to the sky, Dragos continued to gaze, at nothing in particular, but an oddly bright star seemed to attract his attention. Without looking at the girl, Dragos spoke again. "What were you working on over there?" he asked her, glancing at the girl sideways.

Ivy shrugged, and wrapped it around the boy anyway. She wouldn't be responsible for letting someone get sick like that. She sat next to him, looked up at the stars and put her hands on her lap. "Well, I was working on Astronomy... but it's not really important. It's not due 'til next week."
She blinked at him. "Are you okay? You look a bit down..." Maybe he had some bad news or something. Ivy wasn't sure, but it was worth asking, right? From the little light from the moon they had, she noticed that he was a Slytherin from his clothes. Ahh... a Slytherin, eh? Don't see much of them alone; mostly crowded around each other...

Dragos sighed as he felt the girl wrap her jacket around him, but he decided not to fight her. She seemed like the kind of girl who wasn't going to take 'no' for an answer. "Thanks," he said quietly with a smile. Upon hearing the girl's question, Dragos groaned as a response. He didn't really have any desire to talk about it, until his eyes flicked to the girl's robes and he saw that she was a Hufflepuff. Looking at her suspiciously, he decided he'd tell her. A little bit of it anyways. "Ah, just some 'romantic' issues," the Croatian teenager replied with a shrug, "There's this girl..." Ivy grinned, she sensed scandal. "Oh? A girl?"
It's always a girl. It's always, always a girl. She thought to herself. Relationships were such a big deal to teenagers these days... Ivy was included. Her break-up with Mike was not easy, and she was a bit relieved that everything was over. She still needed to plan her revenge against the good-for-nothing-hijo-de-puta but that was not important now.
"Well, if it makes you feel any better..." sensing that this was definitely an issue that he didn't want to talk about. Who would? It would just bring back bad memories. "Know that a girl is just a girl, no matter how pretty, smart or funny she is... there are plenty of other better girls out there. Why devote yourself to someone who makes you sad?"

Dragos hadn't been looking at the girl as she answered him, but his head slowly started to turn towards her as he began to really hear the words she was saying. He knew she was right. He should just let it go and move on, but he couldn't. After all, it was Vanessa. She was the first girl he'd ever really felt this way about, and now that was over, just because he'd been gone for a while.
"It's just not fair. The one girl I feel this way about, and I finally get up the guts to tell her, and then I'm gone for a bit and it's like it never even happened," Dragos complained, hitting his back against the wall angrily, "I shouldn't have even come back to Hogwarts."

"Don't say that... there are plenty of other great things at Hogwarts other than some girl." she said to him, turning her head to look at him. "Why would you let a girl who doesn't seem to deserve you ruin your experiences here?"
This boy definitely liked this girl too much. Teenage relationships were so superficial. They were strong and passionate at one moment and died as quickly as they came. Ivy knew this firsthand, but she had managed to deal with it herself.
"But she probably didn't think you were coming back, y'know?" she said quietly, sticking up for the girl. "I think that... she was deeply hurt too, that you went away. Wouldn't you? I think that she probably missed you a lot, but had to find some comfort. I'm not saying she was right for doing this, but she had thought she lost you as well."

"Even if she did feel like she lost me, she moved on pretty damn quickly," Dragos muttered bitterly, "Moved right on...to that Mike kid." Dragos sighed angrily and looked back up at the sky, the view calming him down somewhat.
Glancing sideways at the girl once more, Dragos said nothing. He didn't really know what else to say. He wanted to ask her about her relationship problems, but he figured that'd be kind of mean if he just blurted it out. So instead, he just swung his other leg over the edge of the castle and dangled them down, feeling the cool night air against his legs.

Ivy broke the quill in her hand as he said the name Mike, since she crushed . There was only one Mike that went to Hogwarts and that was that no good Rolen. She turned her head slowly to Dragos, looking him in the eyes. "Are you talking about Vanessa.... and Mike?" she muttered, her eyebrow twitching slightly. "If so, forget everything what I said..."
VANESSA AND MIKE MUST DIE!!! she screamed in her head, as she forced a slightly diabolical smile on her face.

Dragos jumped slightly as he heard the quill snap in the girl's hand. His face dropped slightly as she mentioned Vanessa's name. At first he thought nothing of it, and just figured she knew her, as they were in the same house. That was until he saw the smile on hr face.
"Umm..yeah. Yeah, Vanessa and Mike. You know them?" Dragos asked, but then immediately regretted it.

"..." Ivy was silent, just staring blankly into space. Know them... of course I know them... "You could say that." she said quietly, cracking her knuckles. "You really should warn Vanessa about Mike."
She got up, not really feeling like talking anymore. "Y'know, Vanessa is a sweet girl but..." she shook her head. The girl was always after Mike in the first place, but still. It was kind of awkward being around her ex-boyfriend.

"But what?"Dragos asked curiously. What did she mean by that? Dragos swung his legs back over the side of the wall and looked at the girl. "Tell me what it is. What's wrong with Mike?"Dragos asked, although he already had an idea of what could be wrong with him. He was a prick.

As much as Ivy hated Mike now, it was still the truth: Mike was a player. "Mike is the kind of guy who "falls in love" very easily... the boy has flirted with every single girl, including some professors on campus and has dated quite a handful of unfortunate girls." She turned to Dragos and tilted her head. "Plus, he has a terrible temper, but that's definitely starting to improve. I'm just saying that Vanessa is just... I don't know, you should just advise her to stay away from him. I doubt she'll listen to you though. Everyone's been trying to warn her. I think that every girl has the mentality of : I want to change him."
She shrugged. "How much do you know about him?"

Dragos listened closely to what the girl had to say. He couldn't believe it. He thought Vanessa was smarter than that, but he really didn't want her to get hurt, even though he hated her at the moment. The bad temper also worried him slightly. He didn't want Vanessa to get hurt emotionally, or physically.
"I don't really know that much about him," Dragos said truthfully, "But I do know that I don't like him.
