Drew raised an eyebrow at her feeling that with all that had gone on over the past few months, this was not the best time to see if a little girl could take care of herself or not. "You and your family Muggle?" he asked softly, not wanting to put the girl in any danger and not sure who was in the pub listening. Would anyone but a Muggle family think the streets were safe to wander unattended?

Hannah laughed, finding it funny that Drew thought her family was muggle. "Muggle?, my family?" Hannah crossed her arms, feeling slightly wary of Drew that he questioned her family's heritage. "My family is as non muggle as a family could get, my parents are both purebloods, my Dad even teaches at a magical school in Australia, he's even taught me some spells" Hannah told Drew proudly, though really, she only knew the Lumos spell.
"Well, we do have one muggle in my family, but he's my step dad and I suppose you could say that my step siblings are half muggle and half magical, but my family, the Astley family, are all magical" Hannah was starting to get a headache, she always did when she tried to explain her family to other people.

Drew smirked back at Hannah's response, not sure if she was spouting pure blooded hype because she actually believed it or because Drew had questioned her heritage. And the fact that she was Australian might have accounted for some of the naivete about letting a little girl out alone, but still,it was hard to miss Shaw's face plasted on every wall. Just looking at the wanted posters sent a shiver up Drew's spine.
"Well, I'm just asking because there've been a few problems in the magical communities here," Drew said simply and he shrugged indicating it really wasn't his place to make the decisions on her supervision. "I don't know if it's really safe to go out by yourself."

One of her eyebrows found its way arched highly above her brown eye at Drew's question. While she didn't think he meant it to be taken the way it could've been, Felicity still tensed slightly, at least until after Drew explained why he'd asked. The posters were hard to miss, everywhere a person went, they could be found. Although she wasn't fully aware of the happenings, she knew a wanted poster meant terrible things.
"I agree," she added to Drew's words. "I'm fifteen sweetheart, and I'm rarely allowed to go around by myself," she told Hannah quietly. While it wasn't just because of the events that'd taken place, more out of worry of her parents youngest child, that she wasn't often allowed to run about alone; she knew it was partly because of the events that'd taken place more recently.

Hannah had seen pictures of a man that was wanted over an attack of some sort, but Hannah figured if you gave into fear and let the fear take over your life, you would never leave the house and her parents trusted her enough to let her out by herself every now and then and they knew that she wouldn't be silly enough to go up to a wanted wizard.
"There was only really that one time I was out by myself that my parents never knew about, but nothing happened to me then and I'm still alive" Hannah shrugged, not really seeing what the big deal was, she was eleven, she was responsible, so why all of a sudden were complete strangers telling her she couldn't go out by herself?. They weren't her parent's.

Ty wasn't quite sure what the big deal about being out and about by yourself was. After all he had been out my himself a lot and nothing had happened to him. Especially when she was in the Leaky Cauldron of all places, how much danger could she possibly be in there. Now if she were in Knockturn Alley that might be a different story. "Yeah well you know I think they are saying that it only takes one time for something to happen, but I have been out on my own loads of times as well and nothing has happened so I don't know if I agree with the overreaction." Ty said with a shrug, knowing full well that his opinion wouldn't matter and would probably earn him a couple of glares, but he couldn't tell her something he himself didn't believe in.

Thank Merlin, Felicity thought to herself. At least nothing had happened to the younger girl, but she still seemed to not care about what Drew had to say about the events. Careless, young, and free. A normal child. Felicity didn't disagree that she was more than likely able to care for herself, but there was still the matter that she was young enough that if anything had happened, she'd unlikely be able to stop it. Felicity turned to Ty and replied quietly: "But one time is all it takes." However, the past was pretty much in the past, best not dwell on what could've happened, and instead look toward the future.
"So, Hannah," Felicity smiled at the young girl. "Are you going to be a student at Hogwarts soon?" Another topic, a different conversation. No, she wasn't really pushing aside the information that'd been provided by the young one. Instead, she hoped to not make Hannah angry by thinking she was trying to tell her she had irresponsible parents (which she didn't think), or that Felicity was telling her what she should and shouldn't do.

"But... but... but... it was only that one time... wasn't my fault... my sisters made me go there... I got a wand from a really nice lady and it was really cheap too... but still... n-n-nothing happened to me" It wasn't fair, Hannah thought, that these people that barely knew her were picking on her.
"Maybe" Hannah sniffled, a slight tear rolling down her cheek while she answered Felicity's question. Hannah didn't give a definite answer on this question, she was upset, why give them anymore answer's when they had made her upset?.

Drew's first thought was that he really wouldn't mind if Ty was taken by a dark wizard like Shaw, but in reality, he knew that he wouldn't want that. He really wouldn't wish what had happened to him on his worst enemy, much less a stupid little punk kid like Ty.
"Hey... we're not trying to pick on you," Drew told Hannah, seeing she had gotten upset. "It's just kind of dangerous out there nowadays. I'd feel really bad if anything happened to you. How would I be able to return your towel?"
He thought he'd try to pry more out of her about Hogwarts. A 'maybe' answer to starting school soon meant that she was probably an ingoing firstie. "My cousin Jeremy is starting school this year. Maybe you guys will have classes together or something."

Ty just rolled his eyes as he little girl desolved into tears. What was the point of getting her so upset? They had to know this was coming right? After all they were the ones interrogating her on what she was doing out and about by herself. Choosing not to say anything for the moment, which was a good idea on his part considering if he had said something he probably would have just gotten her to desolve into tears even further.
"Not another Thornton," Ty said with an exasperated air. "I don't know if I can handle another one of you." The school had just barely gotten rid of one, and now they were going to add another? Well he guessed Allegra had been alright for the most part, minus the slightly psychotic break when she was screaming at him from attop a table. He could only hope that the incoming Thorton was more like her then like Drew.

Hannah's ears picked up at the last bit Drew had said, though she still added a sniffle for good measure anyway, it can't hurt to make them still think she was upset, "Jeremy?, your Jeremy's cousin?" Hannah asked, the realization of why Drew looked familiar to her suddenly came to light.
"You can keep my towel, I'm not sure if I want it back" Hannah sniffled again, though a small smile was gracing her lips. It was at this moment she realized she could use this information off finding Drew in his underwear against him... just wait 'till she told Jeremy that his cousin wore golden snitch boxer shorts.

{like he would care? I'll tell you what kind of boxers he wears if you'd like ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) } Drew continued to ignore Ty, but made a mental note to pummel the Slytherin if he so much looked at Jeremy the wrong way. "You know Jeremy?" Drew asked, finding it a little odd that anyone, much less a girl, perked up so much at having known his younger cousin. Jeremy wasn't the best at making friends and tened to annoy more people than he attracted. "He's a pretty cool kid," Drew added, feeling it couldn't hurt to boost the little guy's rep a bit.

(No thanks, my eyes burn enough all ready ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) ) Hannah shrugged, "Yes and no, I meant him in the book shop, well I fell over him in the book shop... you do mean Jeremy Taylor, don't you?" Hannah asked Drew again, wondering if Drew was talking about the same Jeremy that she was thinking about.

"Yeah, about so tall, brown hair..." Drew answered, raising his hand about elbow height and almost added something about his cousin's ears sticking out, but figured the kid didn't need that pointed out. "His mom and my dad are brother-sister. So what's yes and no about him?"

"Yeah, no, that's him, that's probably why I thought I knew you, you kinda look like him" Hannah shrugged again, but now that she thought about it, Drew didn't look like Jeremy that much... maybe it was the hair Hannah thought looked the same. "Well, yes, I know him, but no, I don't know him all that well yet, but I'm sure I will get to know him better as soon as we get to Hogwarts"
