One raised eyebrow propped up on Seanna's now furious face, directing her gaze at Shaw and then at Mike, just who did Mike think he was?. Her boyfriend?. Seanna had thought she made that meaning clear at the end of the last term and he had no right to tell her to calm down and certainly no right to hold a hand up in front of face.
Raising her own hand and slapping Mike's away with much as force as she could muster, which was quite easy considering the girl was furious, Seanna turned her attention back to her old professor, she didn't buy that answer at all. "Just because you wanted information, that gives you the right to hurt a student?" Seanna would listen to Shaw, but that didn't mean she had to believe everything that came out of his mouth.

"Just like you hurt me to get information out of me"
Mike muttered under his breath after hearing what Seanna had said, it was all the same wasn't it. This was definitely a strange situation to be in, with the truth why Shaw had kidnapped Drew finally coming out.
"But why Drew, why did he have the information that you seeked out?"

Another raised eyebrow in the direction of Mike and another hand rose up, but instead of slapping Mike on the hand, Seanna did the next best thing and something she should have done ages ago; she slapped Mike squarely across his face with as much anger and as much hatred in it as she had done to his hand.
"I hurt you?" Seanna questioned Mike, both of her eyebrows raised and heading near danger territory. "How is it that I hurt you just because I wanted to hear some honest answer's?" Seanna asked again. The blame game, it was what Mike did best and Seanna wasn't going to fall for it.
"But I don't want to talk to you at the moment, I believe we had same question's" Seanna turned back to Shaw and directed her gaze onto him. "One's that you need to answer" Oh, she didn't need a wand to protect herself with, her anger and her hatred for the two of them were enough that Seanna could probably take them both out with a few careful punches, but even so, she reached into her pocket and took out her wand, directing it at Shaw, but if Mike provoked her anymore, it would be Mike that would get the brunt of her hex.

Juan watched the former professor with wary eyes; he could not afford to let his guard down, especially when there were students involved. The vampire was still not quite sure what had occurred, or was going on, but the students’ reaction to the man was enough to convince him; for the moment. He smiled a bit as the boy, who had remained silent up until now, stepped forward to speak. The professor was mildly impressed by how calm and collected the boy appeared to be; given the current circumstances it was a remarkable feat. But the drawn wand did not escape the vampire’s notice and he made a mental note to watch out for it. Traditionally, vampires and wands did not mix well and he knew that should he say or do something wrong, that wand could be turned on him in an instant.
Now it was the professor, this Shaw’s, turn to speak. Once again, the vampire was struck by how diplomatic and unperturbed this man was by the student’s anger and even the drawn wand. Juan was not quite sure of what position he held as a threat to the man, but it he was concerned by the vampire, Shaw certainly did not seem to show it.
The vampire’s eyes narrowed as Shaw ever so casually remarked on the fact that he had sources of information about Juan’s secrets and doings. The professor now attempted to judge this man’s age; he couldn’t have been one of them, could he? He didn’t appear to be the type, but then again, one never really knew, did they? Juan decided that he did not appear to be old enough to have been involved in that particular movement, but he also did not have time to properly make sense of his thoughts before they were interrupted by what else the man had to say. Shaw informed him of his actions and it was then that the vampire knew he had to protect the students from their former professor. He did not even seem to regret his actions! Marcos was not sure what these actions had been, but he was sure they had not been good, nor had they been gentle.
He was about to move and separate the children from the man when the girl drew her wand as well. This was not good; now there were two wands in play, and more than likely, Shaw had one as well, making it three. Juan himself had no wand or magical talent, leaving him at a bit of a disadvantage. With his speed and strength, Juan could easily take out a couple of wizards; what he could not do was protect two children while they attempted to fight another wizard. The vampire shifted his gaze from the two children to Shaw and then back to the children.
Knowing full well that this would put him in quite a bit of danger, the vampire slowly and deliberately stepped in between the two parties, effectively separating them. The professor stretched his arms out, left palm facing the students and right facing Shaw. He glared at them both, making it clear that he would not tolerate any fighting in the streets this night.
“Cease this at once!” he shouted, his voice rang with a strange authority, “I had hoped that this conversation would remain somewhat civil, but I appear to have been proven horribly wrong.”
He let his words sink in before continuing, first to the students, “I assume you know what this man is capable of, one would think that you would have the wits to avoid him or at least turn and walk away when given the opportunity,” and then to Shaw, “And you... Señor… Who is it you are working for? As dangerous as you appear to be… you intrigue me. What would make a professor turn on the students it is in his nature to protect? What could be so important?”

Two on none, in any other situation were very demeaning odds to be certain, but Robert had the talents of negotiation, patience and common sense all still very much on his side of the playing field. Robert's eyes were unwavering, meeting the eyes each respectively of the trio before him, both children, most likely the vampire as well knew the Unforgiveables by effect and also most likely each by name, after all, they'd had Raynor for a Professor.
But Robert did not fear such things, not anymore, what he had done to the boy went against every ounce of virtue in his body. It was true, it had been hard, he'd had ample opportunity to do what he needed at the greenhouses that night, extract what he needed and be gone, little damage, little publicity, little cost. But he'd hesitated, in fact he'd hesitated on more than one occasion that night and the cost was his reputation, his life, but perhaps the largest price paid that night was his pride and heart. In taking the job of a Professor at Hogwarts he had vowed to protect that whom he'd hurt, and if he'd been removed from his position on terms other than his own, he would have found no fault. Yet the choice had been his, and his alone, and int he aftermath of that decision, the end result was essentially this very confrontation.
As the man stepped in the way shielding the two with his own being, Robert as well showed his palms. At the man's question however, he felt it best to begin from a safer distance. "I bear no wand, nor arms of any sort, magical, muggle, none. Nor do I intend to, I will answer what you ask, to the best that I am allowed. To you Mr. Marcos, my...employer, has recently been publicized, my payment is nothing, nothing more than realized convictions and dreams." A pause. "Mr. Rolen. Your question I cannot answer, I may only say that the die has been cast, I know nothing more as to what is in motion. Now, wands away if you please, if I'd any intention of harming any of you, I would have done so long ago. I've had more than my share of time."

Shaw still hadn't answered Seanna's question, or maybe he avoided it so he wouldn't have to answer it?. This new Professor person was getting on her last nerve as well, the whole hand in her face thing was getting old and it invaded her personal space. Seanna didn't slap his hand away, though it was tempting to do so, but slapping Mike's hand was one thing, slapping a would be Professor's was another.
"I'm well aware of what this man could do, but I still want answer's and I'm not going anywhere until I get them" Seanna stated, her wand still drawn, but she changed the position of her wand so that it faced Marcos now instead of Shaw.
"Why do you want us to walk away for?" Seanna flicked her wand in the direction of Shaw, "Is it because you want to get on his side and form friends with him?" Seanna asked Marcos, she had began to think that maybe this Marcos guy didn't really want to protect her and Mike at all and that his real intention's were to protect Shaw instead.

Juan nearly took a step backwards as the girl redirected her wand at him. His only motive had been trying to keep spells from being fired about. Had that occurred, the situation would have become far more dangerous than it already was. The children could not possibly hope to compete with a professor, especially one that had elluded the Ministry for this long, even if they did have him outnumbered. Juan himself would be in a precarious situation unless he could manage to get in close without being hit by a spell. Which, given his current position was not likely and the likelihood of the aforementioned chaos was increasing every moment.
"I assure you senorita," he replied calmly, "That was not my intention. I am merely trying to protect you but you seem hell bent on keeping me from doing so."
Still, the vampire had to admit, he would not mind getting a moment alone to speak to Shaw. He had been out of society for so long, he was not sure about everything that may have been going on. Though the Hogwarts administration and the Ministry boasted knowledge of the situation, it would appear that this would be the man who had the real answers.

Seanna's wand still trained on the new professor, she eyed him warily, there was something about him that she just didn't trust, but Seanna couldn't put her finger on it and her wand moved back to Shaw, he was more danger then what that Professor was for the mean time, he was the one where Seanna should be directing her anger at, the other Professor could wait.
"And you, I'm not putting my wand away just because you asked, your not a Professor anymore, you have no say on what I do, my wand is going to stay where it is and you still never answered my question, what gives you the right to hurt a student, just because you wanted information?" Seanna repeated again, she wasn't going to back down from either Shaw or Marcos, she knew a few decent hexes, she would use them if and when it was needed.

"He doesn't need a right to do anything, thats the thing though isn't it.........he can just do it"
Mike finally spoke up after Seanna's comment, for the most of the conversation his wand had remained trained on Shaw, not wavering at all. He didn't know why Shaw had decided to show himself to Seanna and himself, so there was obviously a reason behind that.
"So why did you decide to come out of the shadows hmmm?"

Mike had gone mad, Seanna was sure of it. Or maybe Mike was really the one that wanted to join Shaw's side and Seanna whirled her wand around and pointed it at Mike instead. "Did you lose your brain cells?" Seanna asked seriously, not really sure what Mike was playing at. "Are you telling me that you are condoning what Shaw did to Drew?, are you saying that he has a right just to go up to anyone and curse them?" Seanna continued on with her barrel of question's, not quite believing her ear's what she was hearing from Mike.
Seanna left her wand trailed on Mike, thinking that she was probably outnumbered now if anything were to happen. Seanna didn't trust anyone that was around her that very moment, not even Marcos, he looked too suspicious to Seanna, she felt like she had her back against the wall, all around her there were enemies.
"Tell me Mike, if Shaw right now did something to you, if he hurt you right now, would you still think he can just do it?" Seanna knew she was stepping on dangerous territory, Shaw was right there, he could end up hurting any three of them, she probably didn't have to say that out loud and mention that fact... but Mike was being weird, saying that Shaw could just do what he pleases, someone had to tell Mike that wasn't right.

Minutes had passed and Shaw had remained ever silent through every second of them. And in such time, the tables seemed to turn a multitude of rotations. First he was foe, then MArcos, than back to himself, and now the enemy of the Hufflepuff lass was apparantly Rolen. Truly an interesting series of events, certainly the most indeceisive in the same respect. However, at least the girl's feelings insecurity, of betrayal, were partially justifiable...
Robert's teal-gray eyes maintained their gaze on the teenaged girl, rightfully so considering most of her banter had been directed at him. "Again Miss Marcellus, if I'd any intention of bringing either of you harm I would have done such long ago." A pause. "And to respectfully answer your question, there is no right, to do the wrong thing, just as there is no right to do the just. There is only choice and the consequences following one's action. If you are not prepared to bear these consequences do not act. Which is why I shall again respectfully ask all of you to put your wands away. I have made no motion to arm myself in the entireity of my presence, why then would I do so now?" The wanted-man questioned, knowing full well the chances of getting any of them diplomatically disarmed were slim.
"Mr. Rolen, your question is much more simple to answer, darkness don't hold its illusion forever, and there was little elsewhere to move on a field dominated by light. There are times when even the darkest of nocturnals must dance with the day, I belive Monsieur Marcos would understand that, an O on your Creatures NEWT if I recall correctly?" The latter half of that statement was of course a bluff, he knew nothing of the man's past, nothing beyond that which he was, and that which he would be come fall. Name, Rank, classification...the rest was bullocks, but many a shots into the dark still hit their respective targets... Maybe he'd get lucky.

Seanna's gaze was on Mike the whole entire time through out Shaw's speech and Seanna had to admit, he was right. Oh, she didn't want him to be right, but he was right and she could feel Shaw's eye's on her and Seanna dropped her arm, turning around and facing Shaw instead. Mike wasn't worth her hex and if anything, Mike wasn't worth her breath and if she did anything, Seanna would have to face the consequences, oh how she wished Shaw wasn't right.
Seanna pocketed her wand, still not sure if she was doing the right thing and she crossed her arms across her chest, her eyes staying on Shaw, she opened up her mouth again and addressed him. "So are you saying you regret what you have done to Drew?" Something about Shaw saying something about consequence's to one's actions had reached Seanna's ears and the possible thought that maybe Shaw actually regretted his decision had floated through Seanna's mind.

Marcos tensed as Seanna continued to change targets. He was not sure whether or not he might become the one suspected again or not. When the wands were finally pocketed, he breathed a sigh of realief. A silly human habit to be sure, but the vampire could not help himself. Every moment there was a wand out, the vampire was at risk. Now he could focus back on Shaw, which he did, watching the man closely.
The professor's red eyes narrowed when the former professor mentioned there being no right and no wrong, merely one's actions and their consequences. This was dangerous thinking, but the vampire had to admit, albeit guiltily, that he had once employed the same opinions. Most vampires did, and Juan still would have if he hadn't managed to come to his senses and regain some sense of humanity. While he did not like where Shaw's conversation was leading, he did believe that he did not have any intentions of harming the students; yet.
The man was making a convincing argument until he slipped up on the NEWT score remark. The vampire bit back a mix between a scoff and a chuckle, he had not scored such marks on his Creatures exam. Truth be told, he had never taken a Creatures class. Juan had never taken the NEWTS or OWLS because he had never been enrolled in a school of magic. The professor had discovered the magical community mainly because he had been turned. He had been around for 509 years, and only during the Dark Times of Voldemort's reign did he discover the wizarding world. Well, it wasn' t so much discovered as shown when he was forcefully dragged into it by the Dark Lord's vampiric supporters. That had not been pleasant.
He was jolted out of his reverie by the girl's next comment. Something about Shaw possibly regretting his actions? This time he could not help it, laughter escaped his control. Vampire laughter is a strange thing to hear. It has musical or hypnotic qualities to it, but there is something wrong and perverse about the sound. An underlying tone makes it sound unnatural and strange; it is full of emotion, and yet dead at the same time.
When the last chuckle had subsided, the vampire remarked with a wry grin, "Please senorita. Were you not listening? If he had not been prepared to face the consequences, he would not have acted. He was aware of what he was doing to the boy and he chose to do so anyway."
Having dealt with this, Marcos looked Shaw square in the eyes and as teal-grey met red, he regained his composure and commented, "I fear you are mistaken, senor, I never took a Creatures class or a NEWT."
That would throw them for a loop. He wondered how long it would take those present to put two and two together. Hm... Perhaps if he had been gifted with magic and taken Defense Against the Dark Arts or Creatures, he would have avoided the Dark Gift. But that was not his fate, he was a vampire and there was no point dwelling in the past or on what might have happened. He'd known vampires with a tendency to do this and most went mad, dashing out into the sunlight to end things. Some just weren't cut out for immortality.

One away with one to go, Robert thought idly. There were no plans for aggression, but a lack of drawn wands meant an equal and level playing field. The Hufflepuff's question nearly made Robert chuckle as well, however he did not. Instead he pondered his answer for the briefest of moments, in that time Marcos rather haunting laughter villed thae air along with his statement and finally he spoke.
"Contrary to Mr. Marcos's belief and to answer your question respectfully, I regret only that I was required to injure a child. More specifically one I taught. However, I did what I had to do to get what I needed, and again while yes I regret injuring the boy, I do not dweel on that which is past. I cannot change it now, and I highly doubt that I would if given the opportunity to do so." It wasn't much of a defense, but he didn't require one. What he'd done was a crime, and he was still wanted for it, regardless of his regrets, feelings, remorse, any of it. He was a dead man if the Ministry got him or, at least, a soul-less one.
Marcos's second statement, did not make him falter, the look however, did and for the briefest of moments his composure feinted. "It appears my source is not entirely perfect in his factual bases then, but then again, what tale from mortal tongue is such?" It would soon be time to fly again, he had been in the light too long and was certain someone inquiring to the former yelling had seen him. However his only concern was for Rolen's wand, which was still drawn, and still in his direction. Any move withit still present was asking for a hex, and a hex he did not want.

Seanna decided to ignore the man called Marcos, his laughter however, sent chills up and down Seanna's spine and again, she still didn't trust him, there was something unnerving about him, something almost not quite right about Marcos and yet, Seanna still couldn't put her finger on it. Seanna's eyes studied the new Professor and wondered what it was that Seanna just didn't trust about him, even her duck didn't trust him and still, Seanna couldn't figure it out what it was about this man.
Eye's traveling back to Shaw, Seanna looked at him and saw a bit of her old Professor in the now evil man that he had become. Her own instincts, as much as that other man beg to differ, had been somewhat right and Seanna even felt a little bit better being around her old Professor, just knowing that he did regret hurting Drew made her feel slightly less nervous around him and slightly more braver, she had more question's to ask.
"So, who are these eleven's that are being mentioned in the Prophet?. While I'm at it, what is this Deva thing that I keep hearing about and why is it supposed to be feared?" Seanna had to admit, she was curious about it and it would settle the rumors she had been reading and hearing once and for all, she had the man right in front of her that knew all the answers, why not ask him while she had the chance?
