It was night time, nearing midnight and Seanna was out wandering Diagon Alley by herself. Well, she wasn't all alone really, her duck was waddling slightly in front of her, Seanna keeping her eyes focused on the duck and the surrounding shops hoping no one would see her out with Percy.
Technically, she wasn't doing anything wrong, but Seanna felt like she was doing something wrong, but it was only because Seanna wanted her duck to get some fresh air, considering the duck had been locked up in her room in the leaky cauldron for most part of the time Seanna had been here for summer break.
Percy had stopped outside the ice cream store and turned it's face towards Seanna. "Quack?" Percy asked Seanna, so being locked up in a room with her duck had it's advantage's, Seanna had learned how to talk to the thing. "No, it's closed, we're not going in there" It was a good thing Seanna was alone, if anyone were to come walking past they would probably think she was partly mad talking to a duck.

"Do you make a habit of talking to your duck?"
A voice said from further down the street, and out from the shadows stepped Mike. He had heard the voice before he had looked up and saw whom it was, it just happened to be the one person he was kind of hoping to bump into at some stage....just so they could patch things up between them. The break up had been hardest on Mike, but since then he had seen the fault in his ways and had decided this year......he would try his best to just get on with what he had to do in the year, as in school work, quidditch and what not and just accept the past and move on.
He didn't move from where he was still propped up against the wall, but his eyes followed the duck as it waddled around Seanna's feet.

"Quack!" Percy sat in a surprised quack. The duck waddled over to where Mike was and stared at him in surprise. Yes, Seanna had heard Mike, yes, Seanna had seen Mike, but that didn't mean Seanna was going to acknowledge Mike.
Not when the break up was still so fresh in her mind and the way that Mike carried on telling her lies through out the whole of their 'relationship'. Seanna knew better now and she wasn't stopping to talk to Mike just so she could hear some more lies, Seanna had better things to do with her time.
Seanna carried on walking down the alley, knowing that her duck wasn't following her and not really caring that it wasn't following her. Seanna knew the duck could look after itself and even knew it preferred stranger's over it's owner, but there was no way that Seanna was stopping and talking to Mike.

"Hey there little buddy"
Mike said crouching down and acknowledging the duck with a smile, his now jet black hair slowly falling down in front of his left eye. Had he really expected Seanna to acknowledge him at all, no not really, did he want her to acknowledge him....yes. He sighed lightly as the smile withdrew from his face into more of a frown.
"Girls eh, how ever do we put up with them?"
He asked the duck knowing full well that it would respond but in a way Mike would not be able to work out.

Seanna kept walking and didn't dare look back, she wanted to forget that part of her life where Mike had existed and even though she knew that when she got back to Hogwart's, she would eventually have to talk to Mike, Seanna had been kind of hoping she wouldn't have to do it until summer break was over.
However, Percy had remained behind with Mike and was looking at Mike with a great deal of curiosity. Curiosity being, in the duck's mind, of course, why it's owner had kept on walking. Percy tensed up and walked forward towards Mike and without any warning, Percy waddled closer to Mike and bit Mike on his ankle and again on Mike's other ankle.

Mike jumped more out of shock than anything, but still jumping back slightly and laughing in a playful manner, a grin forming on his lips once more. Obviously the duck was either playing with Mike or he had in fact understood what Mike had said and took it as an attack on Anna, which it clearly wasn't.
"Thats not very nice, shouldn't go round biting people, how do you expect to make friends when your at Hogwarts if you go around biting people...i mean yeah it will get their attention but you might make them angry"
He said with a genuine smile on his face.

Seanna stopped short as she heard Mike scold Percy, she slowly turned herself around and a glare of hatred was clearly evident on her face. "Percy expects to make friends with those that the owner likes" Seanna was still finding out what her duck could do and Seanna figured she had came across another one of the duck's abilities: To recognize those people that she liked and to recognize those people that she didn't like.

Mike stood up with a smirk evident on his lips and glanced at Seanna. He laughed a little bit to himself momentarily before speaking once more.
"She speaks, someone alert the press, this is news worth noting in the Daily Prophet"
He said in a voice clearly dripping with sarcasm.

Seanna turned away and started to walk back down the alley. It would be in the girl's best interest to ignore the jerk and keep on walking, if she dared open her mouth again, Seanna might say word's to Mike that no one else had heard her use before.
However, the girl was itching to teach Mike a lesson and so Seanna stopped again and turned back to Mike a wide, uncaring smile on her face. "You might want to lose that sarcasm, Mike, one might think that you want to join Slytherin" Seanna retorted, she normally didn't stereotype the house's like that, even she had succumb to sarcasm once in awhile and it was better that she said that than what she truly wanted to say to Mike.

Mike's hand went to his heart dramatically, pretending that it had hurt him.
"Oh wow, Seanna, that really cut deep, I really don't know how I will ever survive now"
Gosh he was glad he took those drama classes back in his muggle school, and once more his voice dripped with sarcasm. He shot her a look that really didn't show any emotion, it was actually quite scary.
"I don't think you get into Slytherin for being sarcastic, otherwise there would be no need for the other houses now would there be?"
He said with a cocky smile now taking form on his lips as he looked at her. Hey she broke his heart what does she expect from him, love letters and chocolates....no way Mike was going to make her life a living nightmare.

Seanna should've gone with her first instinct and walked away from the jerk. "I guess one good thing came out of us breaking up" Seanna commented, her eye's full of rage as she stared at Mike, "You hold good with your no promises, you haven't changed a bit, you're still the jerk I broke up with" Seanna reached for her jeans pocket and checked to see if her wand was there. No, Seanna wouldn't hex Mike, but if he pushed her enough, Seanna may not have a choice.

"I'm the jerk now eh"
He muttered under his breath as he turned away from her, a light smirk on his lips but for no reason, he had nothing to really back up why he was smirking at that particular time. Nor did he want to know why he was in fact doing it.
"You know what Anna, maybe if you hadn't of probed me for every little bit of information you could get out of me, maybe we wouldn't be like this right now, because you know what I was very comfortable that one day we spent together and you know that my mind started to wander, to imagine what it could of been like if I hadn't of screwed things up.....and I liked it.....but what would you care now"
He said after turning back towards her.

"No Mike, you're not the jerk now, you've always been the jerk" Seanna retorted, feeling like she should walk away now before she said anything worse, but when Seanna had waited a long time to rant at Mike again, she figured she might as well continue her ranting.
"You know what Mike?" Seanna asked, using the same line that Mike used on her, "If you had told me everything from the start, then maybe we wouldn't be in this mess, but from where I'm standing, there is no 'we' anymore, isn't there?" Oh, how she would like to hex him, if only they were in the castle and not in Diagon.

Ah, the cover of nightfall, it had proved a most useful ally in the past, and now it was the only real ally he could count on. Darkness for aproximately twelve hours of free moving time before any person of actual importance--actual threat could see, hear or for that matter, hex him. The voices of the two teens, both highly familiar and rather loud, carried through the early morning air that event he deafest of Diagon could probably hear them. And so, event he dark of mind could have their curiosity perked for where there was yelling, there was generally fighting and fighting was always free entertainment. Plus, Robert was oh so dreadfully bored.
Materializing into one of the many cast shadows of Diagon, somewhere to Mike's right rear, he found the oweners to these voices to be far more familiar than he'd first considered. Marcellus, Rolen, and...a..duck...most...interesting indeed. Robert thought, choosing for the moment to observe. He might have known them, taught them for over an entire year, but given his recent reputation from the Prophet and word of mouth he wasn't sure just how much pull that could, would carry anymore.

"Oh thats right, and there never will be a 'we' anymore because you would rather running after Drew, wouldn't you?"
Mike said back, but suddenly a chill went all the way down his spine, he could feel eyes on him and it wasn't the duck nor Seanna, it was someone else. He took a quick look around and saw no one so basically just shrugged the thought off, slightly.
His hand slipped into his pocket and sat beside his wand. Just in case
