Hannah could feel Jeremy tugging on her, but she was too busy listening to that bad man's words. One sentence was coming through loud and clear, though and the thought was scaring her. "Wands to the front" Her brown eyes grew wide with fear as the words sunk into her head. "Wands to the front... " Hannah was under the table with Jeremy, presumably safe while Drew and Hiro were standing near the table, and if she heard correctly, wand less. Or at least, she assumed they were wand less.
Following Jeremy over to where he was, she too shrunk back further and almost fell into Jeremy's side, which was, where she wanted to be-- she couldn't let that man that had just peered at Jeremy or any off the other bad men know of her plan. Leaning up against Jeremy, her head reaching his ears, she whispered quietly and hoped that no one would hear her. "Wands Jeremy! They need our wands!" Hannah whispered, hoping that Jeremy would get the hint. Hannah placed her hand on her own pocket and felt for her own wand. It was there, but it wasn't much use to her. The first year knew only the basic first year spells and charms and some that she had taught herself... but none that would get her out of trouble.
"Hiro and Drew!" Again, Hannah whispered quietly in Jeremy's ear and she tugged at his sleeve. They needed to do this stealthy and quickly, so no one would know what was happening. Hannah could still see Drew's rather, large feet and Hiro's smaller feet. The young girl was small enough that she could reach out and put the wands in their socks without hopefully, being noticed. "They need our wands!" Hannah fearfully whispered, hoping that only Jeremy heard her and no one else.
And then some more words reached her ears."Go ahead and finish your meals, it's all you get to morning.. " Did that mean that the really scary man had left? Again, Hannah couldn't be sure, but maybe this might be the best time to give Hiro and Drew their wands. Hannah turned her fearfull brown eyes towards Jeremy again and she wondered if he had his wand with him.

Es was just digging into her food after rolling her eyes at Nic for being too distracted cause he was looking for Ari than to realize she was talking to him. She noticed Dean at the end of the table and hurt weighed down the heart in her chest but she ignored it and went back to her food. They'd have to give it time. Give what time, exactly? She didn't know, but for now she just wanted to eat her dinner in peace. Before she could bring her hand up to tuck her black hair behind her ear, the doors had burst open and suddenly they were rushed with Deva members.
Screams and cries of alarm went up in the Great Hall, Es herself letting out of gasp of horror and disgust. Her head was swirling with thoughts of panic and she felt dizzy. She placed her hand on the table to try to steady herself and looked to the familar looking man who was speaking with air of power. He was obviously in charge. Oh. She knew him. Punk. Then he asked for their wands. Heck no!!! was her first reaction and she thought about the wand hiding her robes. She was not going to give up her wand to those jerks. Yeah they might hurt her, or torture her, or..kill her...but she wasn't going to be a wussy.
She couldn't concentrate on what he was saying. Es could only get scraps of what he was saying. They were taking over? Finish their meal? How the heck were they supposed to finish their meal when their stomachs were full of horror? She shakily tucked her hair behind her ear and picked up her fork, thinking about throwing it at his face. But she was just trying not to faint, she couldn't even begin to comprehend what they would do to her if she pulled that sort of stunt. She used it to pick up some food and eat it, trying not to throw up.
Welcome back to school...

Claire managed to stuff some food into her mouth went the doors to the great hall were smashed, sending fragments flying inside. Jumping at the explosion Claire looked to see a man coming into the hall and could have sworn she recognized him from somewhere, the daily prophet most likely had her brain been functioning properly. Right now she was too scared to think about it after he gave the order to surrender their wands. Now if there was anything the firstie valued most, it was her wand but what the heck was she going to do with it in this situation? A first year who only knew the very basics of magic could not possibly hope to send a hex or a curse flying at a fully grown wizard such as these faceless people.
Now, the young Slytherin was trembling slightly. Never had she wanted to show fear in her face but this time it could not be helped as some of the faceless men came striding toward the Slytherin table demanding wands from all of them. Looking down the table, her blue eyes saw one of the older students motioning her and the others to go under the table. But someone came up and said, "Your wand girlie?"
"Reluctantly, Claire put a trembling hand into her robe and threw her wand to the floor. When the faceless person finally proceeded did she go under the table with some other frightened looking first years. What was going to happen to them? Why the heck were these guys here. wasn't Hogwarts suppose to be safe. "Go ahead and finish your meals, it's all you get to morning.. were the next words to reach her ears. But Claire found that she was no longer hungry, infact her stomach felt sick to the fact she now didn't want to get out from under the table. But she knew that they weren't safe under there.

From her under-the-table vantage point she couldn't see much but she could hear everything. The new professor making his demand, supported by the voice she recognized vaguely as the quidditch referee and Shaw shooting them both back with words. It was a scary moment, but only so because she couldn't see anything -- Seanna was in the way. In the fog of emotion and claiming of wands she'd become unaware as to whether Sarsha was even next to her. She'd seen a pair of black robes come swiftly by and pausing every so often further up the table, whoever they were was the wand-taker or so she presumed. But that didn't matter, she didn't have her wand the only meals she did bring it to were breakfast and lunch and that was only because of classes afterward. Dinner there was nothing, not since Marcos had started disarming them at the beginning of term.
As she looked down the between the table legs she saw several other head-tops and feet (though mostly feet) and for a moment she could've sworn she'd seen Mark which only made her feel worse. She'd left him at the common room thinking he was already here and then well then the rest of her chain of events had happened. "Go ahead and finish your meals, it's all you get till morning..." The words seemed to echo in the nearly silent hall. All they would get, until morning? That meant they were staying and she didn't want them to stay. All she wanted now was to go home, or find Mark, and even once she found Mark she would probably still want to go home so it changed nothing. And yet, she knew she had to eat...she was still hungry...scared, nervous, worried, and strugglign to keep a normal breathing pace but still hungry.
"I..." She couldn't find words to voice her request, instead merely poked Seanna in the knee with her hand. She was actually afraid to even try to get her plate -- even though she couldn't remember what was on it at all. Tis is what true fear and grief felt like and though she wasn't crying quite yet she could feel the urge to, and she knew she didn't like any of this. Not the situation, not the emotions, and certainly not Robert Shaw or any of the respect she had retained toward the man.

Devin quietly ate his food, aware of everything going on in the room, he wasn't ready for planning yet. Instead he sat and listened, no sound coming from him except for light chewing. It was obvious that the commotion at the Ravenclaw table had grabbed his attention, it was only to be expected. And he was glad he didn't lose his temper and go on the attack, because only seconds later he found out key information. It was her brother, Alfonz, one of the reasons he was here today. And the other name he recognized too, though it was much harder to make out.
It wasn't until Shaw left the room that he once again stood. He raised his hands, showing that he was unarmed, and slowly began to make his way once again around the table. "I think we have a right to check on the students, make sure you mutts didn't hurt them." He made no move towards the tables, not yet at least, instead he looked at the familiar build of the two men mentioned. It became more and more clear that it was Alfonz for sure, but the other, he was almost recognizable too.
"I'll tell you this once, and take it as a joke if you want. But if you harm one of these students, I will make sure that you suffer a terrible, painful death. Wand or no wand. If you want a fight, you can pick on someone your own size, understand." However unlikely it was for a hostage to make demands, that was the situation. The students wouldn't be hurt on his watch that was for sure. He stood his ground standing tall, though he hoped he would have some backing, maybe some staff members. He didn't think it would be smart for one person to go table to table checking the students.

Nic glanced at Essy and wagged his eyebrows at her. Essy was his dawg and nope he didn't realize she had been talking tohim, but he felt better knowing Ari was here and slowly his surroundings started to seep into his brain. Nic had finished one plate and was reaching for another when the doors blast open. Like eveyrone else he jumped at the sudden noise, but he was still reaching for a roll when his old professor walked through the door.
"Wha-? Ari!" Nic looked over for Ari knowing his girlfriend was just stupid enough to try and attack the Deva, but luckily the girl he thought was Ari was still sitting and looking shocked just like everyone else. Nic sighed and looked at Essy and her determined face. Nic held up his hands indicating he didn't have any wands and he didn't. He usually didn't take them anywhere excpet when he thought he might need it. To eat hadn't been one of those times. Nic caught a glance of Ari's face and realized that dark hair girl wasn't Ari. Nic stood up and glanced up and dwon Ravenclaw table. "ARI! ARI!"

Lainee watched the commotion with a slight smile on her face. This was a very serious situation and though probalby the whole student body suspected she was Deva she was infact not. Lainee instead calmly walked towards Devin and though she came up to his chest glared up at the man.
"Don't cause more problems. Just do what they say and wait for a freaking opportunity. Don't be stupid!" Lainee smiled as she spoke her words. It was evident a screw was loose or maybe she thought this was a game. Either way the gleam in Lainee's eyes clearly stated that she will hurt you.

Apollo grunted he was not an auror he was not Shaw's hound he was his own man, and he had insured he made his point when he was 'recruited.' He stepped forward the last quarter of the Great Hall carefully counting the staff; the first step was a quick count of present staff, he then took the wands that needed to be taken summoning those that refused. When Apollo had finished collecting wands... he took a spot behind the staff table. "I think we have a right to check on the students, make sure you mutts didn't hurt them." "No Brady, the other staff can check the students you will remain seated, you are... well WERE an auror, you know the importance of following orders...." He taunted slightly. the next thing from Brady's mouth caused Apollo to smile wide, the mask showed a distinct whit gleam near the mouth, or so was the extent of the smile on the other side.
"I'll tell you this once, and take it as a joke if you want. But if you harm one of these students, I will make sure that you suffer a terrible, painful death. Wand or no wand. If you want a fight, you can pick on someone your own size, understand."
"You challenging me boy?" The faceless man asked the failure of an auror, hoping it indeed was because he was itching to make this lapdog understand what happened when you didn't be your own man. as the woman made her way to Brady apollo stepped forward raising his wand at the woman. "You will retake your seat NOW." He yelled so the staff could all hear him clearly.

Lainee cocked her head to the side after saying what she needed to say to Devin and turned to the centaur dung ordering her about. Lainee only followed one person's order and it wasn't this thing talking to her. Lainee would have recognized the voice or some sign of the leader who's only orders she will obey.
Lainee smirked slightly before lifting one leg into the air and then the other sitting cross legged in the air. Lainee blinked and in that small motion seem to state ''I'm sitting. Now what?'' There it was again Prof. Lainee doing something that would annoy someone and amuse herself. Lainee smiled and held one hand up to her lips shushing Apollo before she winked and stared up at Devin watching his actions and how he would take not only her comments to him, but the comments from the Deva grunt.

This was a job for peasants. So why was the self-glorified and self-proclaimed Prince of the wizarding world getting his hands dirty? Why, he was a gracious giver to charity and the students of Hogwarts were in much need of his generosity. Besides, a hobby was not a hobby unless you actually did it. A hidden gleam of challenge in Waine's eyes from behind the faceless mask as they followed Shaw out of the room. It would have been just as easy to kill the man as to keep him around. He was too much of a threat. Too male. Infiltrating this little... organization... had been simple when the young Miss Cross ran the show. Woman were so much more manipulatable. But unless the aristocrat had been much mistaken in Shaw's taste in relationships, his little ploys were not going to work with the man. A pity. That card could be useful.
Drawing his attention back to the majority, Waine remained rather immobile as the staff began to talk hushed among themselves. His nose got the distinct urge to wrinkle. This was going to be horrendous. He could almost smell the stench of the working class overwhelming the room. Even the Slytherin table, highly disappointing. Records would have to be checked on those in the House of Snakes. It wouldn't do if any foul blood had infiltrated it.
It would be a lie to say that Waine had come here risking it all. In truth, he risked nothing. He had far too much money, far too many connections, and far too large of a reputation to suffer from this. The great donor to the Ministry, picture boy of the Wizarding Community, one time most eligible bachlor... Deva member? The government was far too political. They would never let it happen. He knew this, Shaw knew this. It was the reason why he was here. Shaw did not trust him to work alone without someone watching his actions and Waine did not trust Shaw to pull this off without his assistance. And for that, their peace was kept.
A boy at the Slytherin table, disgracefully dressed and most reeking of "poor" stood up, creating quite a commotion in his cries of "ARI ARI" in -- was that an American accent? What was the house coming to?
Pointing his wand in the direction of the boy, he advanced on him. "Silenco." A small smirk went unnoticed behind the mask. "Sit down and enjoy your dinner, Slytherin, before you cause a real disturbance. It would be a pity to spill decent blood --"
Distracted, Waine's attention slid to the staff table, where one of the fellow Devas was getting into a rather heated conversation with the Auror bloke Gerard recently had fired. "Fool," he muttered. The last thing they needed was an angered auror -- wandless or not. The aristo fingered his own wand. He would not like cursing a fellow, but would do it if needed.
Shaw had a bad habit of attracting incompetent help.

Her brain failed her for a couple of seconds as she was unable to process what was actually going on. There were faceless people filling the hall. Faceless! She knew that they wanted something from her, but at the moment she was too busy staring at the faceless people. Instead of hearing the rough words passed between the captors and their hostages. With her spoon still poised in her hand Fyona tried to stop a scream as one of the faceless people approached her. More than likely he was trying to collect her...Her...She couldn't think at the moment. Half hearing Art, Fyona swooped underneath the table, clutching the spoon tightly in her hand so her knuckles turned white.
A frightened twelve year old girl clutched that spoon like it was bound to sprout legs and run away. Her whole body shook as she continued to listen to what was going on above her. There was no more of the roaring chatter that had filled the hall before the doors blew open so she could hear some voice distinctly. What felt like hours to her must have been only minutes because she soon heard, "Go ahead and finish your meals! It's all you'll get until morning..." Quite speechless Fyona found it hard to say anything, but she finally to get out two small words. Barely audible.
"Not hungry," she said in a small shaky voice. The words sounded quite loud to her, but in fact it was doubtful that even Art would have heard.

Nic's hand immediately went to his throat, but it was useless he couldn't speak. Nic heard the man's threats and turned to the faceless man. Nic mouthed a choise curse word at the man and took one step on top of his seat, the next step on the table and was ready to run down the table and topple him. Why? To help rescue the other students? Nope! To avenge the take over of Hogwarts? Nope. Because the man took away his voice? Yup! Nic was ready to risk death so that he could speak. If anyone at the slytherin table didn't trip him up Nic could use his large 6 foot 2 frame to his advantage and hopefully beat the living crap out of the man who took his voice muggle style.

In times like these, Seanna panicked. And being up here on the other end of the table all alone with all her thoughts and what Shaw was saying, her panic was rising. Seanna grimaced as one of the faceless people picked up her wand and took it away from her. Now her panic started to rise even more. With her wand, she had felt safe, now without it, there really wasn't much that she could do to keep her younger huffle's safe.
Suddenly, Seanna wished her duck was there. Sure, her and Percy may have not gotten along, but she knew her duck had magic powers and knew at least that he would have kept her safe and her younger years under the table. But then, peering around the room, Seanna wondered how much her duck would have kept her safe. With one swish of a wand, any of those faceless men could have killed her duck in one slick movement.
The blond head girl wasn't taking in much of what Shaw was saying, even though she probably should do. But she did hear his last bit before he stormed out of the great hall with some of the other Deva's. Last meal before morning? But how... he was going to let them starve until then? Sure there was plenty of food there, but it was sure to go off, as well. But then... smelly food often came in handy for certain things.
It was then Seanna felt the poke on her knee and she jumped out of her chair for the third time that night, banging her knee on the table underneath, not feeling the pain that much, for she was worried for the huffle's underneath and hoped that no fingers got caught underneath her feet. Popping her head underneath the table, she tried to give Lianna a reassuring smile, but it just wasn't working and it came out looking like a concerned one, instead.
"Are you guys okay underneath there?" Seanna asked them, her brown eyes finding Lianna and Sarsha, not really sure if she was going to let them back out, considering there were still some Deva's hanging around and the sixth year was thinking that it was probably a good idea to join Lianna and Sarsha and hide underneath the table with them.

Mike sat there looking ridiculously calm for the situation that they were currently in, but that was on the exterior where he knew he had to remain calm and even on the inside he was somewhat calm, as he knew that as long as anyone didn't do anything rash no one would come to harm. As the masked people walked around collecting their wands, Mike shoved his deeper into his pocket, he wasn't going to give it up....not to them and not to anyone.
His eyes floated down the Hufflepuff table, looking at the concern on the rest of his housemate's faces, other than Krissy's whom seemed to be holding together ok. She was strong and Mike knew that she would be fine.......right now he was more worried about Seanna whom seemed as though she was panicking.

Okay? No she wasn't okay she was hungry, scared, tired, upset and a thousand other things and not one of them was the word 'okay'. But there was no doubt in her mind that Seanna knew this already so the third year from her crammed spot under the table merely shook her head in reply as her brain tried to form words for her lips and came up nearly empty.
"Dinner..." Lianna mouthed, hoping Seanna understood as she tried to motion her head toward Sarsha withuot drawing the second year's attention. She could go without food if she had to, she wouldn't like it and her appetite kept going up and down so it didn't matter quite so much anyway. It was now she wished she'd waited for Mark, now that she was stuck under a table and a downright emotional mess. In fact she wished many things but as sadly cute as it was, that was top of the list since Merlin cerrtainly knew having her wand wouldn'tve given her (nor anyone else) any sort of extra edge at all. Or at least that's what she thought.
