The butterflies in her belly were going at full speed now, with him so close to his present. She almost wanted him to open it right there, in the automobile, but she knew it would be best if he opened it at his Aunt's home. Hopefully she'd approve, otherwise Felicity would have to bring the present back home, it would almost be easier if he had his own apartment, but Felicity didn't blame him for taking up a place with his Aunt, that way he was close to family and he didn't have to worry too much about bills of his own other than the helping out he did with his Aunt for things.
"Can you take this box?" Felicity asked, offering the smaller box over to Drew. The larger one had to be taken extreme care of, and she didn't want it rocked too much, though she knew if she told him to be extra careful with it he would be. However, she wanted to keep her hands on it because she loved it so much, it was perfect. "And I'll keep this one."
Stepping up into the cab, Felicity placed the box in her seat before she leaned out and grabbed the platter from her mum to place it in the front passengers seat so her mum could comfortable climb in and get ready to go.
"I'm all set when you are mum," the pretty blonde announced, reclaiming the package in her lap and snuggling in close by Drew, settling her hand on his thigh since she couldn't get her arms around him with the box, wearing it's big blue bow, placed where it was. "Mum all ready knows where we're going, so you don't have to give her directions until we're near your Aunt's home so she knows where to pull over."

Drew took the smaller box from her, wondering what was in that package as well. He didn't spend too much time thinking about it though, as her hand on his thigh took all of his attention. That gloriously warm hand on his leg was all that mattered.
"Huh?" he asked numbly and it took him a moment to realized what she had said. He thought he should really work on keeping his focus when she did stuff like that. Gulping hard and nodding, it finally registered. "Where to pull over. Okay."
It wasn't a long drive, no more than ten minutes once they passed The Leaky Cauldron. Large brick houses stood on the tree lined street where Drew's Aunt lived and when he saw the blue door half way down, he pointed it out to Felicity's mom. "Would you like to come in for some tea, Mrs. Hjort?" Drew asked. "I know my aunt would like to meet you as well if you have the time."

Ducking her head slightly with a soft smile, Felicity felt the blush creep over her cheeks at his slow reaction to her words, realizing he was either more focused on the present, or on her touch, but she was kind of hoping her touch. Leaning against him, Felicity kept a secure arm around the larger box in her lap, the one that was slightly off-balanced with some shifting weight, moving on its own and because of her. The drive was short and the blonde was somewhat glad, not because she wanted to be rid of her mum, but because she wanted Drew to open his presents and his to meet his Aunt.
"I'll just come in for a moment Andrew, to be sure that Felicity makes it in safely, but I really cannot stay today, but thank you for offering." Maneuvering the truck around, she managed to park it nicely in front of the home with a blue door, just as the lad had instructed, before she let the truck idle for just a moment, fixing her hair so it didn't look too wild and shutting everything off.
Flinging the door open, Felicity unbuckled her belt quickly, pulling the box close to her stomach so Drew wouldn't try taking it. Reaching out she balanced the platter of biscuits on her box, squashing the bow, but knowing that wasn't the best part she didn't mind too much.
"Come on, please hurry?" she begged with a giggle, nearly unable to wait to meet his Aunt and for him to finally open the present.

Drew wasn't sure why Mrs. Hjort thought Felicity wouldn't get into the house safely, but he didn't say anything. It was probably a nicer way of saying she wanted to make sure his aunt was home. That was okay by Drew. He wanted the Hjorts to trust him and he thought it would be a good idea for his aunt to meet Felicity's mom.
"You going to let me help with something?" he asked, as he jumped out of the truck and walked up the path backwards with his hands out towards her. He was finding it awfully cute that she was so excited despite the fact that he was more nervous than anything. He still wasn't sure why though. He knew his Aunt would like the Hjorts and he was sure they'd like her too.

Her mum had climbed out after Drew, locking the doors of the truck and watching Felicity precariously balance all of her gifts. Thankfully Andrew offered to help and she hoped her daughter would accept. After all, how awful would it be to have everything ruined, especially after how much she had put into it.
"Do you want to take the platter for your Aunt?" she asked, knowing she wasn't about to drop the larger box and likely wouldn't drop the smaller one, just the platter wasn't well balanced. "Please? And can we hurry a little faster? I really want to meet her."

"You're going to meet her with the big box in your hands?" Drew asked and though he was honestly asking, he was also teasing, trying to see if she'd let him get his hands on the box so he could give it a good shake. He took the plate of biscuits from her and walked the rest of the way up the path by her side, waiting at the front steps for Mrs. Hjort to join them.
Balancing the plate on one hand, he opened the door, nearly knocking over the house elf that was trying to pull it open from the inside.
"Dude, you okay?" Drew asked the small creature which was rubbing it's nose and grinning up at the guests.
"Yes, sir! Kester will take the things! Mister's Aunt Mistress Abigail is in the sunroom!" The elf, who was dressed in a clean peach dishtowel, squeeked.
"I think... we're okay?" Drew answered, pretty sure Felicity wouldn't give up her package as much as he wished she would.

"I just might have to," Felicity answered, grinning from ear to ear. She didn't want Drew to take it, it was such a precious gift and needed the best to be correctly taken care of. If it was dropped, it would be hurt badly and she didn't want that, and she was sure the present wouldn't want it either. Dancing on spot when she reached his porch, she impatiently urged her mum to hurry so they could all meet, and though she knew she was being rude, she really wanted to just meet his Aunt.
When Drew opened the door, Felicity squealed at seeing the cute creature standing in front of them. While they really weren't all that cute, she liked them, when they were nice. Sometimes in the kitchens at Hogwarts they could be awfully mean.
Meadow standing behind the teenagers, gasped at seeing a House Elf. She hadn't seen one of them since she left Hogwarts halfway through her Seventh Year, and she knew only the really old families, and the wealthy ones at that, had House Elves.
"Actually...." Felicity started, pushing at Drew's waist gently, playing with him to scootch to the side a little, she kneeled down to talk to the little creature, whispering in his ear. Handing the large box over, she smiled at the creature hoping he'd follow her instructions to make sure the box was taken care of by the upmost care. Though, she also knew they tended to only follow what their families told them, too.
Glancing back at Drew, she hoped he'd ask the House Elf to follow her instructions, it really was important.

As Felicity whispered her instructions, Kester's big eyes got even bigger and he looked over at Drew for confirmation that he was to do what she asked. Drew shrugged back, smiled, and nodded, knowing he could have easily told Kester to hand the box over, but also knowing it would have spoiled Felicity's fun.
Kester, eyes still wide, took the box and held it as if it was made of delicate china. Then again, it very well might have been for all Drew knew.
Drew handed the plate back to Felicity, pretty sure she'd want to present her gift personally, and took her hand to lead her across the entry hall and over to the sunroom at the back of the house.

"Thank you," she told the House Elf as he carried her gifts off. While she wasn't worried about the smaller box, the larger one really needed to be taken care of, otherwise it wouldn't be good. Turning back to Drew, she pecked his cheek lightly, thanking him for agreeing with her. Imposing and almost taking over, rude once more, but she thought it might be best, this way Drew couldn't get into his gift too early and nothing would happen to it if she tripped and fell.
With the platter in one hand, she nervously squeezed Drew's hand as he led the way, glancing back at her mum to be sure she was still there. The summer had given Felicity many worries about the older woman, and making sure she was fine at all times was important too, more important almost than making sure the present wasn't hurt.

With one hand still in Felicity's, Drew pushed open the door, reavealing a large sitting area enclosed in glass. The morning sun bathed the plant filled room in light, warming the sitting areas and giving the area a sense of coziness despite its openess.
"Aunt Abigail?" Drew called out, leading Felicity into the room and making sure her mother made it in as well. A smartly dressed white-haired woman looked up from a letter she had been reading and rose from her overstuffed chair by the tea table.
"Andrew, I didn't hear you come in," she answered, smiling at her nephew and his guests as she placed her letter on the table before smoothing out her linen skirt and straightening the matching jacket on her shoulders.
"Aunt Abigail, I'd like to introduce you to Miss Felicity Hjort and her mother," Drew answered, stepping towards the woman and turning over his shoulder briefly to smile at his girlfriend. "Felicity, Mrs. Hjort, I'd like to introduce you to my aunt, Miss Abigail Becket."
Phew... that hadn't been so bad.
"Felicity, Mrs. Hjort. It's a pleasure to finally meet you both," the older woman answered warmly, taking the final steps towards the group and extending a gentle hand in greeting. "Andrew has spoken so well of both of you. I'm so glad you could visit today."

Following Drew further into the home, Felicity was in awe at how carefully put away everything looked. It was like everything had a place and was in its place in the home, and when he opened the other room up to her and her mum, the glaring sunlight felt like a warm bath. It took a moment for Felicity's eyes to adjust, wanting to jump around and look at everything in the room, but as soon as she heard the voice of another, her eyes zoned in on where the vocals came from.
Light brown eyes widened with every movement of the older woman, it was finally happening, he was introducing her to someone inside his family that wasn't at school. While she knew it wasn't his fault she hadn't met anyone in his family yet, she really didn't like not knowing any of them. Allegra was nice, and Jeremy was all right, but she wanted to meet his parents, Aunts, Uncles, everyone. Though, she still had to introduce him to her mum parents at some time, they wanted to meet him.
Holding in a giggle when he introduced her as Miss Felicity Hjort, the blonde was quick to take his Aunt's hand, with an almost shy, "How do you do?"
Completely fascinated with the woman, Felicity couldn't take her eyes away from her.
"It's a pleasure," Meadow answered, warmly accepting the woman's offer. "Thank you for allowing my daughter to visit, she's been looking forward all vacation." Giving a warm smile, she saw the look her now frustrated daughter sent her.

"Please sit down," Drew's aunt invited, magically pulling over a two of the more comfortable wing chairs. "Brunch will be served shortly. I do hope you'll be staying, Mrs. Hjort." A flowered china teapot appeared on the table next to the woman along with four cups and saucers.
Drew went to the table to start pouring the tea out, smiling over his shoulder at Felicity. "I told you she'd be feeding us," he said. He got a look from his Aunt, but he knew she wasn't really mad at the teasing.

It was odd for the blonde to see someone use magic so openly in their home, as at her home what magic was done was done discreetly as her mum didn't want the little ones to see and say anything to others. Only Freddy saw everything, but he was able to be trusted with not saying a word. Even when Felicity had been studying at home, it was all done in secrecy. So watching the woman move the chairs as she had done, it made Felicity's light brown eyes widen more than ever.
Stepping lightly toward one of the chairs, the one closest to where Drew traveled, Felicity didn't sit, but instead hovered near Drew's elbow so she could help. But when he teased, she poked him in the side and smiled over at his Aunt. Food was always good, especially when her nerves were on edge.
"I'm afraid I really must be off, I have my own bunch to feed a mid-morning snack before they drive my husband up the walls," Meadow apologized, stepping forward to once more grasp at the other woman's hand. "It really was such a pleasure meeting you."
"Can I help?" Felicity asked Drew, not sure how tea was served at his Aunt's.

"Perhaps another time then?" the older woman asked wishing to get to know the family that her nephew had been spending so much time with. Not only did they seem like nice people from what Andrew had said, there were a few concerns with the relationship he had with this girl. Hopefully most of them would be aliviated by the end of Miss Felicity's visit.
"I got it," he told her with a smile, snickering at the poke. "We have your biscuits, right?" He figured that was plenty.

"Oh, I do hope so," Meadow answered enthusiastically. With as close as her daughter and Andrew had gotten, she wanted to meet his family, possibly talk with his own parents about their relationship. While Meadow believed it to be young love, her husband had many more concerns, constantly drilling Felicity about her relationship with the boy, unwilling to believe he could be a perfect gentleman, much like Ib had been while he courted herself. "Perhaps next time, maybe you could stop in for dinner sometime when Andrew comes over?"
It would be nice.
"Yes, but are you sure I can't help?" Felicity asked, nudging closer to her boyfriend. Her hands were full with the platter, yet to be presented to his Aunt, but she wanted to help as much as possible. There was no reason to make his Aunt think she expected Drew to do everything and not offer help, and make him let her help.
