When Drew had vounteered to take Paquito for the day, he probably hadn't properly thought it out. Franco had mentioned something about a catering job he had and Drew had offered to keep the little kid out of the way, giving his buddy some uninterupted working time. Franco had accepted, but not without a list of rules and requirements.
And supplies.... things Drew really didn't think he would actually need that day, including the fifth set of clothes and the gazillion toys for the kid. Drew had left most of the stuff at his house, opting for the baby back pack and a few of the bare baby essentials as he took Franco's little boy to spend some time at the park. Not for the first time, nor the last he was sure, did he wish Felicity was able to spend the day with them. It would be kind of cool to practice with a kid.
"Oy, Paquito, ¿Quieres ver los animales? Wanna see the animals?" he asked, hitching the kid up a little higher on his back and heading towards the zoo. He knew his Spanish wasn't the best, but figuring it was probably didn't matter too much... neither was Paquito's.

Hikaru totally ignored the circumstances of his trip. The fact of how annoying daddy could be in matters of what he could need or not, or any problem he could be causing to Drew, that was just meaningless things for him. The important thing was that he was going out to have fun with uncle Drew. If Drew would not be carrying him, the baby surely would be already running around to see more closely all the things and people that caught his attention.
"Animaleeees! Sip sip!" he nodded vigoroysly already excited for the little trip he was doing with Drew. "Uhmm... Tio Dude? que animals? perrdito?" the boy asked leaning his head closer to Drew's ear trying his best to say words correctly though with not much success.
(OOC: Uncle Drew, which animals? a dog?)

Drew hopped a little as he followed the path, just so Paquito would be jostled as they approached the zoo. He knew his baby cousin liked being jumped around like that and hoped Paquito did too.
"Puppies? No way! Dude, hasn't your daddy taken you to the zoo before?" Drew asked, pretty sure the little guy didn't understand what he was saying. The good news was this would be an adventure for the little guy. "No perrditos. Elefantes... Elephants, giraffes... girafes?" Those were the only two zoo animals he knew in Spanish and he wasn't even too sure about the last one.

The boy looked clueless as Drew's bablings at first, wondering what he could be possibly saying, though some words sounded funny. Zoo... like the sound he made when ran around on his little broom, 'zoooomm...'.
It did not matter whether Drew was saying the animals' names right or not, the little kid had no idea of what he was talking about. The only animals he had ever seen were the ones that could have been normally found near his home, plus some llamas and vicunas that culd be easily found around where he lived. But the funny names Drew was using were enough to catch his interest, if daddy or anyone had ever named those animals he did not remember.
"que eshh? Giande? como papi?" he asked looking with interest at the man waiting impatiently for his answer.
(OOC:What is it? Is it big? Like daddy?)

"¡Oy, más grande! Waaaaay bigger than daddy!" Drew answered emphatically, opening his arms to demonstrate the size. He was kind of surprised that Paquito didn't know the animals, figuring most kids his age had at least seen pictures. Drew decided that they might need to get a few books at the gift store before they left... and that was in addition to all the junk he planned on feeding the kid. What fun was it to have a little guy like Paquito if you couldn't stuff him with cookies and ice cream?

"Ohhh... como diagón? asshi giande?" he asked with his eyes wide open, though he had never really seen a dragon, he knew from daddy that they were way bigger, bigger than his house. And inside his head he started wondering how the house of a dragon would be... woahhh.
The boy looked ahead wondering where would possible be the house of the animals Drew was talking about, all he could see at the distance so far where big areas with fences around with animals in, but they were still too far for the kid to be amazed by their size.
(OOC: like drangons? that big?)

"Yeah, maybe that big," Drew answered, though he had never seen a full grown dragon up close and personal to make an accurate assessment. As they approached the main entrance, Drew paid for his admission with some of the Muggle money he usually carried, and hopped down the path in the direction of the elephants. If the little guy wanted to see big, that was probably the best place to start.
As the finally got to the enclosure, Drew didn't bother pushing in front of the mums with prams who were already there. With his height, Paquito had the best view from on top of his shoulders.
"Hey, Paquito! Mira eso... look at that one. See it?" he asked, pointing at the enormous beast on the other side of the fence. A couple of mothers looked over their shoulder at him and their looks made it clear that they thought he was pretty enormous as well.

The boy gasped at the first sight of the elephant while looked amazed at the enormous animal, it was the bigger one he had seen so far, like his house! he thought.
"ohhh... mira mira!" he replied back to Drew pointing at the elephant as if he would have been the first in discover it. It was so strange being with that funny long nose... Hikaru could not help but take his own nose wondering how would that be, have a nose like that elephant being.
Then looked down at drew and touched the man's nose, this time comparing it with the elephant's and with his nose. Woahh... even an adult did not have a nose as big!

"Yeah, I see it," Drew answered the little guy, pointing out a second one on the other side of the pen. He didn't pay much mind to the looks he was getting, more worried about making sure Paquito's fingers didn't go up his nose.
"Check out the ears," he told the little guy, reaching up and behind him to tug on Paquito's. He would have said it in Spanish, but he couldn't remember the word. "Those are pretty big too, huh? Should we go see something else?"

Hikaru giggled as Drew's hand tickle his ears while pushed the man's hands away then reached Drew's ear and started tickling them and pulling them too while mimicked the elephant trumpeting.
"HOLAAA TUUU! HOLA TUUUU! EEEAHHHH!" he called out mimicking the call of the elephant, and now waving his arms up, trying to catch the animal's attention ignoring Drew's question or to say it better don't understanding the man at all.
"Dude! audame! hepl hepl!" he asked Drew to help him call the elephant and trying his best to say it in english so Drew would understaned it better.

With the little guy pulling on his ears, Drew felt assured that Paquito's little fingers wouldn't find their way into his nose. He had to laugh when the little boy started talking to the elephant and while he knew there were some animals that you had to be quiet with, elephants usually were okay with people trying to talk to them.
"You've got to get the nose going, kiddo," Drew told him, showing how to do it with his own arm. Drew added his own trumpeting into the mix, but apparently he was better at talking to squirrels. The elephant didn't seem to understand. "Quizás no habla español," he told the little guy.

Hikaru looked down at Drew and tried to mimick the move of the arm, like the elephant's long nose, half amused because it was really funny see Drew doing that, half trying to do it as best as possible so the elephant would answer them.
"EEEAHHHH!" He tried once more but the big animal did not seem to want a talk with them. The baby could not quiet understand why the elephant did not pay them attention and even Drew explanation about the elephant not knowing spanish was rather absurd for the kid.
It does not speak spanish? So what? the baby thought I am using elephant talk! I speak elephantish... I am good at it
"EEEAHHHH!" See?
The boy watched the animal's doings not persisting in his attempt to catch its attention anymore but now foccusing on the trump, the way the elephant used it, it was just funny.
"Po que? Po que el tem naiz asshi? po que?" he asked as pointed with his finger at the elephant and looked down at Drew's face as at that moment the man was the master of wisdom. If the elephant was really a he or a she, he did not know but for him that was a he.
(OOC: Why? Why he has the nose like that?)

Drew laughed at Paquito's continued attempts to talk to the elephant. He knew that dogs and chickens made different sounds in Spanish, but it sounded like Elephantese was Elephantese no matter what country you were in.
"How come his nose is like that?" Drew asked back, mostly to get the words straight for himself. "Para comer... y para bañar... y... para eso," he answered before trumpeting again and reaching up to tickle the little guy.
{very rough translation: for eating, and bathing... and this!}

They listened Drew with attention as was really interested on the matter, picturing inside his head the elephant eating and showering using that looong nose. He was to distracted in his own thoughts to realize Drew's hidden purposes.
"No, tio Dude! no, no!" The little one started laughing as could not resist the tickles, trying desperately to push the man's arm away. Any single thought about the elephant forgotten on the boy's mind "TIO DUDE! YA NO!" he said slapping Drew on the head playfully unable to reach the man's belly and give him an spoon of his own medicine.

Drew didn't keep the tickling up for much longer, only a second or two after Paquito put up the protest. Drew really didn't need the little kid peeing on him when he was up on his shoulders like that. Instead, Drew gave out a playful yell at Paquito's retaliation before grabbing his hands and wrestling a little with him.
"So, have we had enough of the elephants?" he asked. "Should we go check out the giraffes? ¿Las jirafas? They're pretty big too."
