"Yeah," he answered about getting a compartment. Although, he wasn't sure if he was talking to his cousin or the both of them. He started to scan the crowd as well to see who was all here. He saw many of his Gryffindor buddies. "This train is getting quite uncomfortable," he said as he then remebered he had an empty compartment with his stuff in it.
"Hey, Drew. I have an empty compartment with my stuff in it. I was only there about three or five minutes ago. We should see if it still unoccupied with people. Ready when you are," he said waiting.

Jax smiled brightly. It was as if the girl thought she was actually witty, and Jax couldn’t help but like that. It was good to have a rival, of some sorts, and even better to have one that thought she was cleverer. Her comeback was mediocre, and amateur and it just made Jax laugh, and giggle a bit. She wouldn’t say porcupines were cute, but then again, Lianna didn’t have to know that. And heck, if Jax was seeing Snake, and everyone would find out that year sooner or later, than why not have some fun with whom she was?
Plus, it wasn’t as if she was only Jax Chaput anymore, she was Jax Chaput, Ravenclaw Quidditch captain. That had to mean something. Frankly, it meant a lot more than what her name used to mean. She’d be known around the school for sure! Which means, some things were just made to be let out of the bag. What all of this came down too, was her already formed response. Lianna would probably get freaked out by this one, like anyone she had ever spoke about such things with….well, Hectis hadn’t, and neither had Snake…ok, so just those she knew in Elementary school…but still…it would be hilarious.
“Out of practice? Who says that wasn’t what I meant in the first place?” Jax sighed boastfully and leaned back in the seat, her hands outstretched and resting behind her head, clasped together. On her face, a huge grin, her blond bangs hanging in her face as always. “I mean, Lianna…why do you think I bother you so much?” she couldn’t help but laugh so much at this it made her cheeks hurt. Oh, how comfortable she was when it came to joking around…
It’s same as every year…except you’re here. I don’t know if that’s good or bad for me yet.
“Are you kidding? It’s an excellent sign!” Jax exclaimed, leaning forward and putting her hands on Lianna’s shoulders and shaking her slightly. “I mean,” she grunted and shrugged, removing her hands from Lianna and throwing them in the air. “…I told’ya, we’re here together till the end. Whether you or I like it, that’s besides the point.” Again Jax laughed, though, her laugh seemed more nervous this time as she thought about what she said. Oh, Merlin…till the end?

What an absolutely dreadful morning. Snake had returned to being nocturnal over the summer and then add jetlag and she was not a happy camper. She was awake most of the night, pacing her small hotel room, checking her stuff, and then pacing again. Luckily Falcon had free long-distance on his phone service and stayed up with her half the night, not that it was night over in California. Morning finally came around she loaded everything into the cab and fell finally feel asleep. Feeling slightly refreshed she loaded her stuff onto a trolley and made a mad dash for platform 9 ¾, not wanting to miss the train. Today she was dressed red checkered slip on shoes, tight dark blue jeans, and a black v-neck shirt. Around her neck hung a set of dog-tags, a dark cord, and a choker, in the bottom three holes in her ears she wore blue gems, in the middle purple gems, and in the top snake heads, and in the piercing at the top of her ear she had a pot leaf. Her hair today was dark brown with slightly lighter brown highlights.
She loaded all of her stuff into an empty compartment, grabbed a rectangle box a little longer than the broom and set off into the hall way. She checked the compartments as she went along until final she found just the right one. She peered through the open door for a moment, confirming that it was indeed Jax in the compartment. She smiled, and flung herself through the door, dropping the package onto the seat just before she grabbed the Ravenclaw around the middle and spinning her completely around before setting her down once again and covering her eyes. “Guess who?” She whispered into her ear.

Celina clung to her trunk and passed through the barrier rolling her eyes slightly at her brother. “Yes, but if I shrunk everything, then it wouldn’t be fair and I would look weird.” She sighed, not understanding how Alfonz couldn’t just do something manually for once. Plus, would it even work if she shrunk it? Or would the barriers magic enlarge everything? Celina couldn’t imagine that happening…what a mess of her new robes that would be! “Emerald’s right there,” Celina said pointing in front of them. It was as if she was looking for something. It was odd behavior for Emerald, but Celina rarely questioned what behavior for Emerald was not unusual. “Ok, so I’ll meet you at Hogwarts then?” Celina asked her older brother. Alfonz nodded and sighed. "Yes, I'll be there at the feast tonight. Don't worry about it." He gave her a smile an pulled her into him slightly. Leaning over, he placed a brief kiss on her forehead and pointed at the train. "Here, let me help you with your trunk, and then I'll leave you to find a place to sit." Alfonz walked forward toward the train and took the trunk from his sister's grasp. As he got to the train and loaded her stuff, he sighed and smirked again. "I'll be there...wipe that look off your face. Everything's fine, Celina."

This was going to be her last year she still couldn't believe it. The time off flew by and sooner rather than later she was packing her trunk preparing to go back to school. Seventh year her parents were unable to contain themselves their little girl was growing up they would say over and over again until she begged them both to stop. So when they were driving on their way to Kings Cross she instead how to endure their looks. The awe our little girl is growing up look. She wasn't sure how many times she rolled her eyes. Parent were overly frustrating at times. Arriving at the station couldn't come soon enough, so that when they reached she practically ran out of the car, if it weren't for her trunk she probably would have.
After everything was placed in the luggage compartment and her goodbyes were said Angel got on the train trying to find a compartment that wasn't too full, she just didn't want to feel too crowded even though she knew that wasn't really up to her. Finding an empty car she headed in and took a seat. A book appearing from the back of her denim pants the romance novel dog eared at the spot where she last left off. Getting comfortable she sat back in the chair loosing herself in the moment of her book.

Celina shook her head and gave her brother a look of concern. She wished he was riding with her, but she knew better. Why this ride would have been different than any other, she didn’t know, but it felt as if it would be. Sighing, she gave her brother a nod and turned away from him. “You better,” she called back to him playfully. “I don’t need anyone asking me where you went…” Over the summer, Alfonz had disappeared multiple times, going out later than he had said he’d be out. Celina only hoped that he’d be on time for the feast, and not drunk. That was her biggest fear at this point. She sighed again and got onto the train looking for Felicity. She’d knew she’d have a seat with her.
“Felicity?” Celina called out as she wandered down the corridor.

Throwing another smile to the boy in the compartment that had the sign, the Gryffindor folded the note neatly and stuffed it in her jeans pocket before shutting the door again and walking away. She would just have to stop back in if she could remember the part of the train he was at and check on him. At the moment she had to find the other Prefects and Drew and see what they were supposed to be doing for the meeting, such as where it would be held and what they had to discuss. The sooner it was over the better; she would be able to find Celina hopefully and maybe get her to sit in the compartment Felicity had saved for her friends. These friends being whoever found her and wanted to sit with her. Hopefully Celina would, her best friend had mostly been missing in action all summer and it bummed the blonde out greatly.
Walking down the corridor (opposite of Drew, Jeremy, and Tristan) Felicity looked around trying to find someone she knew was Prefect. Connor the boy who'd snapped in History of Magic, Tianne the girl from her classes, Alexander one of her best friends, Hiro the blind Prefect whose parties she always managed to mess up, or Tristan the older Gryffindor Prefect. Even Drew would've worked to find as he was Head Boy.
As she continued passing by compartments, she glanced in and continued walking, not finding a single soul she wanted or needed to find. Just where was everyone? The lioness also thought it odd how the majority of the compartments only contained one person. She was sure there were too many students to only allow one compartment per person.
And then faintly she heard something.
Turning around, the blonde saw her best friend heading right at her. And with her excitement Felicity bounded right toward the girl, not caring if she knocked the Ravenclaw, or anyone else for that matter, over. "CELINA!"

Celina smiled widely as she saw her best friend headed right for her. "There you are!" Celina exclaimed holding out to hug Felicity as she neared her enough. "I was looking for you. I want to sit with you. Where are you sitting?" Celina asked a bit hurriedly as if Felicity was already being taken away by someone else to sit with. It would be horrible for Celina to be all by herself when she finally had friends, and yet her friend was alone so maybe she had gotten to her just in time. "I figured you, me, Drew...we could all sit together or something."
Emerald finally emmerged from, what seemed to be out of nowhere, and began to wrap around both Celina's and Felicity's legs. Celina giggled and bent over to pick Emerald up and cuddled her. "There you are, Em." Celina looked around again and saw no one she knew either, and slightly sighed. She was hoping to catch Connor, but she hadn't done so as of then. "Have you seen anyone around yet?" Celina asked, looking at all the studnents passing, and yet, seeing no one she wanted to see.

Grasping the girl tightly, Felicity didn't want to let go. The summer had felt short in some instances, but in this one it was much too long. Celina had been unable to attend the camping trip, and though she'd been a bit vague as to why, Felicity didn't press for once. Things with Celina were good again and she didn't want to push the girl away. After all, her best friend, why would she do something like that to her?
"I've been waiting for someone, anyone, but I haven't seen a single person I know yet." There couldn't have been that many people at Hogwarts, or had she actually secluded herself from so many? Again, she was reminded of the two people she'd met over break she didn't really know. "I'm so glad you're here. I was afraid you'd all ready be at the castle with Alfonz or something instead of riding the train."
Giving Emerald a good scratch behind the ears, Felicity cupped the cats face affectionately. Though she really didn't like cats, Emerald was an exception. "Come on, Sammy and Dustan are saving a compartment for us. Dustan's my new owl, mum bought him for me." Pulling the girl along with length of train until she reached the room, the blonde slid the door back. It wasn't too far of a walk from where they'd been.
"I have to go to a meeting for the student House leaders before I can really relax and enjoy," Felicity explained as she walked in and took a quick seat. "But I'm not really sure if Drew was going to sit with us or not. He's been at home this week so we haven't had a good chance to talk and I'm not sure if he'd be sitting with Jeremy or not." Smiling at her best friend, she wanted to hear all about her summer, though they'd written back and forth, it was different hearing about it than it was writing and reading about it.

Celina shook her head and gave her friend a sad, and concerned look. She wouldn't elaborate on the look though, for what was there to elaborate on? Her brother hadn't wanted to go to the castle early. He had said he had business to attend to first, whatever that meant Celina never knew. "No, Alfonz had something he had to do and he said he'd meet me at the castle later." Celina smiled brightly and shrugged, though she was becoming increasingly worried as time passed by.
Emerald enjoyed the scratching behind her ears and purred happily. Oh, how she had missed all the attention from other people. "Ok," Celina responded to Felicity and smiled contently. "A new owl? ooohooo! That's great," Celina said giggling all the same. Dustan? That was a funny name for an owl, but then again, Celina figured Hubert probably was too.
Entering the compartment, Felicity said something abut a meeting she had to go to and Celina's ears perked up, as well as an eyebrow raised. "Where do you have to go?" she asked curiously, not being able to believe what she had thought she just heard. She still smiled, but it faded just slightly. No...no way....it couldn't be.... Celina thought to herself.

Layla had woken up that morning and neatly packed the last of her belongings into her trunk and quickly dressed. After making sure that she wasn't leaving anything behind and that she's left the small room as she had first encountered it, she'd made her way to make a final payment and thank the owner of the Inn for his hospitality. She had wasted no time to arrive at the station and realized she had plenty of time before she crossed the magical barrier.
It wasn't until she walked past a set of Ministry Aurors and saw the scarlet locomotive of the Hogwarts Express that she finally came to her senses and realized where she was. She took a deep breath and charmed her trunk to follow her the rest of the way. She almost felt like a first year again... excited yet nervous and having no idea where she'd sit. She felt a bit ridiculous but tried her best to keep her composure. She walked down a few meters toward the center of the train, scanning the crowd but still trying to appear as though she knew exactly where she was headed. She vaguely remembered many faces, though she recognized the several that screamed 'Firstie'. She saw Drew a long way off with an someone she might have recognized and a smaller boy. feeling temporary relief since she hadn't spotted anyone else, she took her time weaving in and out of the crowd towards the Raven.

It was only seconds…maybe even moments that Jax got done talking and another burst through the door of the compartment. Taken off guard, Jax had little time to react before she found herself being grabbed around her mid section and her eyes covered. She giggled as she couldn’t think of anyone who would be attacking her, and as a whisper fluttered into her ear, Jax squealed just a bit in excitement! Yes, this was going to be a fantastic ride back to Hogwarts.
Jax instinctively let herself relax in Snake’s arms, not caring how it may have looked, for at that moment, Jax and Snake were just two friends fooling around. Of course, Jax knew better and when Snake said to guess who she was, Jax laughed again and shrugged. “I wouldn’t know anyone with a voice a sweet as candy.” It was corny as all bloody hell, but Jax couldn’t restrain herself or her excitement or her pure happiness. The summer had been awesome for various reasons, and she could see that her school year was going to be just as perfect.
Pulling away slightly to see Snake fully, Jax never remembered Snake looking as pretty as she did at that moment. Jax smiled and then looked back at Lianna who by now, was doing only Merlin (and her writer) knew what. “Ah, Snake…have you met Lianna? She’s a…” Jax hesitated. Were they friends? “She’s a friend of mine…” Jax paused looking back toward Snake and giving her a big grin. “And Lianna, this is Snake…” did she say ‘my girlfriend’? She’d let Snake say that much if she was into it. At that moment in time, Jax didn’t care. Of course, it could have been the intoxications of good feelings Jax was having affecting her brain. Yes, it was probably better to keep quiet…at least for a little while longer.

I wouldn’t know anyone with a voice a sweet as candy.
Snake giggled and was trying to think of a witty and flirtatious thing to say in reply when Jax pulled away a bit and started to introduce. She had been so excited about seeing Jax that it hadn't even clicked that there was somebody else there. Blushing just the slightest she smiled at Lianna and said, "Hey." When Jax trailed off Snake quickly jumped in and said, "I'm her very close friend." She put just the slightest amount of emphases on the word very and gave a sideways smirk to Jax before her eyes fell on the package she had brought in.
"Oh, right!" She exclaimed and picked it up. "This is for you!" She offered the box to Jax, just about ready to die with excitement or with embarrassment if the younger girl hated her gift. Over the summer she had spent every waking moment that she wasn’t with Falcon making trying to make enough of her riding platform broom attachments (which she had yet to name) to sell and make a profit off of. She had made them for the newest model of brooms, her type of broom, and one the type that Jax’s rode.
“Ok, so it’s still a prototype and the name is set in stone or anything but…Oh I hope you like it!” Snake practically squeaked with excitement.

Seeing the first look her friend gave her, Felicity shook it off as Celina started talking about Alfonz and smiled again. She figured whatever was bothering her she didn't want to talk about, at least not out in the halls of the train where anyone could hear them, but maybe at the castle later or something. That was kind of odd, even to Felicity, that Alfonz would rather Celina take the train when he could have just taken her by floo powder or apparation. But all that came from Felicity was a quiet, "oh."
"It is," Felicity answered her friend. Though, she kind of wished it didn't have to be for making Prefect, why couldn't Dustan be for getting good O.W.L. scores? That way she wouldn't have to feel guilty about having him and using him when writing letters to her mum and dad. She was going to feel horrible about using him, but she couldn't use the school owls all the time or her mum would be suspicious.
"I'm not really sure yet," Felicity answered. She'd received the letter but she couldn't find it that morning, nor remember exactly where the meeting was being held. Just one of the compartments, apparently reserved for the House student leaders. "Somewhere on the train. I was hoping to run into Drew so he could tell me where we're supposed to meet."

Shari knew she knew hardly anyone on the express, and it had the same effect as a stone sinking slowly to the bottom of a shallow stream. She was considering transferring out of this place, especially when Marius and Helene had sat her down and expressed their acute interest in having her around more often. Truthfully, Shari felt like the Grim Reaper as it seemed Death followed her wherever she went. Kumaran was the latest victim - only this was Muggle caused. Some stray bullet had found its way into his chest cavity at just the right angle. At least it was a quick death, instant shock to the brain, and that was the last she'd heard from her own flesh and blood. They'd be safe in their mountain cave in Tibet, she hoped. Nothing was certain at the Indian Ministry so her father had quit his job, hoping he would be untraceable. Muggles really managed to screw up everything! So who cares if you are Indian and call yourself Muslim? Does it really matter that your enemy is also Indian but Hindu? It was all a load of bullocks.
Muggles knew best how to screw things up. It was like they never knew how to deal with simply living peacefully. There had to be something happening every moment of their existence or else they were inept to feel alive. Bo-zo's. Shari found a secluded and partially empty compartment and quickly slid inside, closing the door. She wanted to be alone since that was how everyone left her anyway. Whatever. If things worked out, she might go live with Marius and Helene in America, go to school at the Academy there. Who would, honestly, notice?
