How she loved that smile. There was something about the lopsidedness of his smile sometimes that just sent her heart racing, and this was one of those times. Felicity rather wished her dad wasn't right there so she could embrace Drew without a showdown stare from the older Hjort. Instead, the blonde settled for sliding one arm around his back, thinking it wasn't the same as a hug, but it was close enough and it was still minimal contact. Sure, her dad still wouldn't like it any, but he'd like it a lot less if she kissed Drew's cheek.
"How'd you sleep?" she asked, waiting her own turn to grab food. The boys knew enough to leave some to go around, and she knew she could always make more for herself if need be, but she kind of wanted to slip back under her covers in her tent, one hour of sleep wasn't going to suffice for the whole day.

The warmth of her arm across his back sent warm tingles up his spine and he gave a small but contented sigh. He would have loved to give her a quick good morning kiss, but he knew that wasn't feasible and had to be satisfied with the memory of kissing her the night before. It had been fantastic and he thought it could carry him through at least until the end of breakfast.
"Good... short..." he said in a low tone, a hint of embarassment touching his smile. While it had taken some time to come down off of that high, he had fallen asleep eventually and had some pretty enjoyable dreams. "How about you?" he asked, curious if she had had a similar night, but not sure if it would cross any lines to ask.

"I slept all right," she told him with a small shrug. "I didn't get as much sleep as I would've liked because Cherry kept me up." Her voice was lowered to just above a whisper so she could talk without anyone looking at them. Her dad wouldn't be pleased if he knew they'd been up so late the night before, or rather up until the earlier hours of the morning. "She wanted to ask me a few interesting questions..."
They were more than interesting and embarrassing to Felicity because she didn't really participate in anything the redhead asked her about, every single question having to do with her relationship with Drew. They kissed, or snogged but Felicity wouldn't tell another such a harsh word for what they did. They kissed on one another, she liked how that sounded much more than she liked snogged.
"So, are we going to eat?" Felicity asked him, and without waiting for his response, began to gently tug him forward with her to grab food.

Drew gave a small snicker at the idea of Cherry keeping her up. He figured it was expected, but was glad he didn't have to deal with it. On the other hand, he wasn't sure what his girfriend meant by "interesting". He didn't think he wanted to know, but at the same time, couldn't help but ask.
"What kind of questions?" he asked carefully, letting himself be pulled towards the food. Once he was in reach, he grabbed up a sandwich and wondered if it would look bad if he took two.

"I'll tell you in a minute," she answered, making sure to keep her voice soft so no one else would bother with her. Pulling a plate towards herself, she put a couple of sandwiches on it after noticing Drew only had one and then gently grabbed the side of his shirt and made him walk beside her a little ways towards the lake. Everyone else took a seat up at the tables and she and Drew would still be in viewing range so she didn't think they'd get into trouble for it, maybe a few looks from her dad but nothing more.
Sitting down, she turned so she was facing him and bit her lip lightly. They weren't the most horrid of questions to be asked, but she thought they were a little interesting. "She wanted to just know a few things about our relationship. Like...how we've kissed..." Felicity trailed off, becoming interested in picking at her sandwich. They kissed, but definitely not the ways Cherry was naming off in wanting to know. "And the things we've done...and if we've said that we love each other..."

As Felicity pulled him towards the lake, Drew grabbed one more sandwich and shoved it in his mouth as they walked. They were still in plain sight of the rest of the group, but not within earshot, so Drew was pretty sure Felicity was going to tell him what had been said. Again, he wasn't sure he really wanted to know.
He took a seat next to her and took another bite of his sandwich, all the while marveling at how adorable she was when she bit on her lip like that. Perhaps if he had been focusing on chewing his breakfast instead of thinking about her mouth, he wouldn't have choked on his mouthful. Yup. He should have just left it alone, but instead had to ask.
"How?" he asked, once the fit of coughing had passed enough to speak. How... not if... and Drew could only imagine what Cherry had been thinking. He felt his face heat up and suddenly found the rest of his sandwich rather interesting. "But... we... we haven't done anything..."

Brown eyes turned wide when Drew started choking on his food and Felicity wasn't sure if she should do something or not. Coughing was a good sign because it meant he was still breathing, but what if he stopped? However, she was saved from those thoughts when he somewhat repeated what she'd told him Cherry asked.
"Yes, how," she told him with a quick nod before tilting her head slightly to the side. "She had a lot of ideas on kisses and plagued me with all of them, she actually sounded a little disappointed when I told her no for all of them, that we'd only just kissed." Felicity hadn't had the faintest of clues on a couple of the kisses she'd been asked about. The blonde had to indulge on her first kiss with him, which she still thought had been amazing, though Cherry scoffed a little that Drew had asked Felicity if he could before doing it. In Felicity's mind it only made it that much more special.
"I told her that, too," she continued with a small smile. "She was even more disappointed about that information than with the kisses. But I wasn't going to lie to her either." Seeing his face as red as it was made her wish she could kiss his cheek, or hug him, or even just hold his hand. "And I don't really care if she was disappointed or not, I'm not disappointed about any of that. You're not either, are you?" she asked, wondering if he was with his reddening face.

He wasn't upset, not like he had been with Lucas-- that had been totally different. But at the same time, it bothered him to hear that Cherry had been asking stuff like that. While he had discussed stuff with Allegra, they had never gotten very far with details. It just seemed kind of personal.
"Disappointed?" he echoed as he scratched at his nose and bit on his lip nervously, not sure what to think about it. It really wasn't Cherry's business and besides, she was younger. Shouldn't she be more into Barbie dolls or something instead of his and Felicity's make-out habits? And what would there be to lie about? "No... I'm not... We aren't... we aren't doing anything..."

Humming that that was indeed what she was asking whether he was or not, Felicity waited for his answer, still not having touched her sandwich. Much more interested in Drew's reaction, she didn't think he would be disappointed about anything, there was no reason to lie nor was she ready to really go any further than they had with just the kissing, and while she was sure he wasn't disappointed that they hadn't done anything more than kiss she couldn't be entirely sure without an answer from him.
"Right," the blonde answered. They weren't doing anything and his answer was that no, he wasn't disappointed they weren't doing anything, but at the same time his habits made her wonder. But before she could ask, her dad stood up from the table, followed by all of the boys going fishing and they were headed in hers and Drew's direction.

And what if Cherry decided to tell someone else? What if she passed on the information Felicity had confided in her? What if... Great Merlin... what if Felicity's dad found out? No, they weren't doing anything, but Drew was positive that Mr. Hjort wouldn't quite see it in the same light. Cherry might have been disappointed, but Mr Hjort would be furious.
Drew gulped hard, suddenly finding it difficult to breathe. The sight of the Hjort men getting up and heading towards them only made him more nervous. Why were they coming over? He and Felicity weren't even touching, so even if they had found out about the previous night, they couldn't do anything to him now, could they?

Casting her gaze down at both of her untouched breakfast sandwiches, Felicity waited for her dad and the rest of who was going fishing to take Drew away. She didn't mind that they were all going and Drew wouldn't be there with her, she did need to get a bit more sleep, but at the same time she kind of thought it would be nice to spend a bit more of alone time with the boy, though they couldn't do anything being as her dad would be watching the lake shore the entire time.
As the men neared, Harold and Ib walked on by, carrying on a conversation about which fish made for a better meal, pan or bullhead. Stephan on the other hand paused by his cousin and her boyfriend to hold a helping hand out to Drew so they could get going.
"You coming?" he asked, smiling at Felicity. After shaking her head to answer no, he rose an eyebrow at her curiously but didn't say any more.

Drew carefully watched as the gang approached, his eyes wide as he started thinking again of all of the things they could do to him and no one would ever know. He considered telling Felicity that he had changed his mind and he most definitely wanted her there, if nothing else but to help explain why they had gotten back to their respective tents that morning.
Stephan offered his hand and Drew felt himself jump slightly but regained enough clarity of mind to take the hand. He smiled nervously at the group before turning back to look at his girlfriend. It was his last chance to ask her to come and though she had just told her father she was staying behind, Drew was pretty sure she'd go if he asked her.

With Drew standing, Stephan shrugged at Felicity before continuing toward the boat with the rest of the gang. Pushing her food forward a bit, the blonde stood and turned toward Drew knowing he was going to have to face her family eventually without her, but she thought that her dad would at least more than tolerate him, perhaps like him before then. Unfortunately, that wasn't the timing things took their course in.
"So..." she trailed off, sticking her hands on her hips and toeing the grass. "Have fun?" she said uncertainly, chancing a look up at him and giving him a final shy grin.

Drew watched at the others headed towards the boat and then turned back to Felicity. He wished he could put his arms around her, just for a second, knowing it would make him feel better about all of this. She smiled at him and he attempted a smile back, nodding in response and thinking he should just ask her... no, beg her... to come along. He wasn't sure he could manage a whole day alone with her dad.
He gulpped hard and turned over his shoulder again to look at the boat. "I have to go now, huh?" he asked nervously, knowing that even if she said he didn't he really did.

"Yes," she answered, nodding her head. "I don't think they'll want to wait much longer, dad's getting out a little later than usual all ready and he doesn't like being too late." Looking over at her dad, he was all ready in the boat and double-checking to be sure they had everything. It was only a moment later she heard him tell Harold to grab the bait, as they hadn't packed it yet and it was the only thing missing. They had life jackets, fishing gear, cold cut sandwiches and bitter all packed for the long morning, possibly early afternoon too if the biting was any good.
Stepping forward, Felicity placed a quick kiss on Drew's cheek, not really caring that her dad likely saw as she could see he was nervous and wanted to let him know it'd be just fine.
