{So who else's toes have been poking her? } "Too long..." Drew answered with a devilish grin, and when she asked again and kissed him, he happily kissed her back, enjoying the tenderness of her lips on his. His hand found her hair and he twisted her golden locks between his fingers, taking some time to savor the kiss before speaking again. "Was that to try to convince me, or give me more reason not to?" he asked quietly, barely breaking away from her to speak.

((*facepalm* I worded that wrong )) A moment really could feel too long, but with as warm as she was feeling, she was sure the sacrifice would be worth it. Then again, to get the sweatshirt over her head she would have to stop kissing him...but she was still sure the sacrifice was worth it. His body warmth, mixed with hers, and the blanket was too warm with the sweatshirt on when the night was so beautiful. But the feel of his hand in her hair was almost enough to convince her being overly warm wasn't so bad. It'd been since the train ride back to London that they'd had the chance to be so close to one another. With her dad around every corner in her home and the rest of her family on watch, it was hard to get any good amount of alone time with him. And when he broke away, for even that moment, she tried to make be quiet and just get him to kiss her through his question. Though, she had to admit, it was a good question. "Convince..." she answered him, trying not to stop the kiss again. Though, if she wanted to get his sweatshirt off, they'd have to stop for a moment. "Help me?" It was all she could really manage.

There were often times when Felicity would say something and Drew would start thinking about things he was pretty sure she wasn't meaning. Things he probably wasn't allowed to think about. Asking him to help her was becoming one of those times.
He had absolutely no experience helping a girl take off any article of clothing, but he thought he was ready to give it a try. He just had to remember that she was talking about a sweatshirt and all he was probably expected to do was let go of her so she could do it herself.
"It worked," he told her, kissing her again. "What do you want me to do?"

Smiling, Felicity accepted his kiss with pleasure. He was willing to help her get the fold of cloth off, which was really making her quite warm. She knew she didn't have to kiss him in order for him to let her do something, but it was fun getting those little kisses in. And as he asked what she wanted him to do, she leaned back into him for one more kiss, just for good measure.
"If you're not willing to let go, I just need you to shimmy the waist up for me," she told him with a grin. If the waist of his sweatshirt was up where she could get a good hold on it, she'd be able to get the rest of the material up where she'd be able to slip it up over her head just fine.
Propping herself up on her elbow, she waited to see what he'd do; whether he'd just let her go so she could do it herself, or if he was actually going to be stubborn and hold onto her tight, making it a little difficult to take the sweatshirt off. She had a tank-top on underneath and had no problem being in his arms in that, especially as she'd been in his arms in just her swimmers before.

In his mind's eye, he could see himself helping her out of the sweatshirt, slowly... slowly... slowly pulling it over her head, letting her toss her hair free, and tossing the sweatshirt to the side before taking her in his arms and kissing her passionately.
In reality, as soon as his hand got on her waist, he froze, feeling the thin tank underneath and no longer sure about what he was supposed to do. How high did she need it? What if his hand grazed a line he wasn't allowed to cross? Would she think he was trying to take advantage?
With a gulp, he continued, carefully edging the waist up and assuming she'd stop him before he got too far.

It surprised Felicity a little that he actually started moving the sweatshirt rather than just letting go for the two seconds it would've taken for her to get the article of clothing off where he usually rested his arms around her. However, it was kind of a nice surprise. And it didn't really mean anything, he was just doing as she asked, shimmying the waist up to where she could get a good hold on it and pull it over her head and off her arms. It didn't mean anything, she was sure of it, and was also sure he didn't think it meant anything.
Or at least, she was until he stopped, his hand on her waist. He put his arms around her waist often, he'd been more apt to place his hands on her hips since December, so why did he completely stop?
Keeping her eyes on his face, she watched him, a steady gaze looking over a pondering face. The freeze only lasted a moment, but it felt like an eternity. Perhaps it was because she was watching him? Was it because the nerves in her stomach had erupted when he started pushing her sweatshirt up? There was no reason to, she was still going to be fully clothed, and Drew had seen her in something more revealing, had held her in her swimmers. So why did it feel so strange now?
But as soon as he had it up where his arms weren't going to be catching the material and she could get off of the little bit under her with no problem. Placing her hand over his, Felicity guided his hand back down slowly, to just above her hip. She wanted to make sure he knew that the rules and lines still applied as before. Her waist and her hips. He was allowed to touch her back, shoulders, jaw, neck, knees, hands, but not really any other places.
Leaning forward, she placed a light kiss on the end of his nose before retreating and pulling his sweatshirt off the rest of the way. It wasn't hard to slip it off, it was a bit large on her, but it was also easier to get off when it wasn't being constricted.
As soon as she'd pulled it over her head, arms following, the blonde rolled it up and placed it beside her before snuggling in really close to Drew. And because she couldn't resist it, she moved her lips over his without really kissing. She just wanted to feel the warmth of him, but knew she'd get to kissing soon.

It was with a sense of disappointment, oddly mingled with a wave of relief, that Drew felt his hand being placed back on her waist. He gave a long sigh and a small smile as she kissed his nose and when she snuggled up to him, he closed his eyes and just enjoyed the warmth of her being so close.
Her lips touched his and he couldn't resist kissing them, slow soft kisses so as not to disturb the gentle night. He had kissed her hundreds of times before, but there under a blanket of stars, the music of the night breeze through the trees playing in the background, it just felt more magical.

Slow, soft, and sweet. They were the kisses she enjoyed the most, not that she didn't like the others they'd had. But the first time he'd kissed her, it'd been that way. Gentle and guiding. Felicity didn't know how to kiss, but she was pretty sure in the last months they'd been kissing, since the very last day of October, she'd become pretty good at it, or at least had improved. She still couldn't flirt with him very well, but she tried and she thought she was getting a little better at that too. Though sometimes, she felt really silly doing so, but she liked it.
It was easy to fall into the moment with him. Even with the amount of moments she felt they'd had, she didn't get sick of them. Dancing in the rain with him (though it hadn't turned out well), a number of times swimming together (again, not usually a good turn out), their first kiss (though there'd been a bad moment during that night too), and now, being out under the stars with him.
While they were supposed to be watching the stars, she didn't mind that her eyes were closed and she couldn't see them. The best part of the night was being in his arms as she was. Though she didn't like staying up late at night, she wouldn't have passed these moments up for anything.

He didn't care much about looking at the stars at that point. While it would be enjoyable to watch the night sky with her, at the moment they were just a backdrop to the taste of her sweet, soft kisses and the warmth that came from having her so close.
He kept his lips on hers, occasionally breaking away for a small breath and a soft nuzzle against her nose before kissing her gently again. "I love you," he whispered between kisses, barely breathing the words against her lips.

It was turning out to be an excellent night. There was no rain, the stars twinkled up above, Drew and her family seemed to be getting along fine, and everyone was asleep but she and Drew. Definitely an excellent night to the blonde. Though, even at Hogwarts she hardly spent much time with him after curfew, and the night was getting awfully late, but she really didn't mind.
Being in his arms was nice, always was. There was something comforting about being in his arms and she loved the feeling of his arms wrapped tightly around her. The blanket around them only added more comfort in her mind.
The gently kisses were all she really needed on top of being underneath a gorgeous sky and in his arms. And even the kisses weren't really needed, but they sure were a nice benefit of being out there with him.
"I love you too," she whispered back, a little louder than he had. She found it hard to try to keep up kissing and talk at the same time, though she tried. Pulling back from the kiss, she made a small trail down his jaw until her lips met his ear and she kissed him lightly.
"And as much as I love you, I think I should probably go to bed before we get in trouble, love," she whispered softly. Being in his arms was awfully nice, but if they did get caught being out under the stars at that time of night, especially being wrapped up together, would make for an awful rest of the trip and summer.

"No... just a little longer?" he asked softly, feeling his insides melt when she kissed him like that. He was willing to risk just about anything as long as he could continue feeling her warm breath in his ear.
But he knew she was right and as much as he would have loved to let her fall asleep in his arms, he knew it wasn't possible. With a heavy sigh, he rolled away from her, only to lean back over and give her one last quick kiss. "You think we can get away with this tomorrow night?" he asked, thinking it would be slim chance. Yet, in his mind, it was worth a try. This had been the only time all summer that he had gotten any real time alone with her, and it was probably all he'd get until they got back to school in September.

"I wish I could..." Felicity answered him. And if she knew her parents wouldn't mind, she would have stayed there with him, but they would more than mind if she and Drew were caught. While they could say they were only looking at the stars, the blanket wrapped around both of them told a different story, and one that was very far from the truth itself.
When he rolled away from her, she gently poked him in the side disappointed that just because she said she should go to bed, he actually made to get away from her. But a big grin took its place when he kissed her again and she got herself comfortable up against him.
"I don't know," she answered honestly. "I hope so, but everyone else might want to..." she trailed off. They weren't exactly stargazing, but her family wouldn't do what they were doing either. "Well stargaze." And while she liked stargazing, though didn't understand Astronomy very well, she kind of liked being in Drew's arms more.
"But we can hope and see how it goes," she told him, placing another kiss on his lips.

The poke made him giggle, something he really didn't think sounded very manly, but that he didn't mind so much when he was with her. But it was her answer that made him sigh again. He had kind of figured that some of the others might want to join them, either to do some stargazing or to make sure the two teenagers were doing just that as well.
"What time does your dad get up for fishing?" Drew asked, looking over at her again. He was usually an early riser when he went camping, but knew that some devout fishermen got up before dawn. Drew wasn't that early of a riser.

Sighing against him comfortably, Felicity turned so her cheek was against him and closed her eyes. It would've been nice to just drift off right there, knowing he wouldn't do anything to her, but she knew her parents better than that. Her dad would flip if he woke up and saw them laying down together like that. Even if she was ten feet away, she knew he wouldn't like it any.
"Around four," the blonde answered. "Sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later." Bringing her hand up, Felicity gently started drawing little figures along his chest, just watching the drawings pop out at her in the night. Again, most of the little figures were hearts as she couldn't draw much else. "Did you want me to go? Or did you want to go it alone?"

"Four?" Drew echoed, but the good natured groan that accompanied his small protest slipped into a sigh as she traced invisible figures on his chest. He wasn't always sure what she was drawing, but it always made him loose track of what he had been thinking.
"Huh?" he asked before it registered what she had been asking. Her original idea had been for him to go it alone while she stayed on shore with the younger kids. He hadn't been thrilled with that idea, not sure if he reallhy wanted to be alone with her dad without that buffer, but he thought he should at least try it. "I think I'll go it alone if you're okay with that," he said, kissing the top of her head.
