Felicity didn't think four was really that early, it was earlier than she normally got up, but it wasn't really too early. Besides, if you wanted to go fishing, the earlier in the morning you went, the better the bite, or so her dad said. That and it meant you could eat the fish quicker. Having it ready to eat was the biggest issue, or at least, having it ready to eat by the time the boys got back in and were ready for it was the biggest issue. While they were all out on the boats, everyone else would stay in and keep an eye on the children and cook breakfast. Hopefully there'd be enough left over by the time they came in that they wouldn't have to cook a second round. Though, as many times as it was hoped before, it never happened that way.
"I'm fine with that," she answered honestly. Felicity loved fishing, but she didn't mind if he wanted to go fishing wit her family alone, without her. It would be good for all of them, she was sure of it. And while her dad might not like it too much, he wouldn't mind it either. Touching her lips to his neck, she laughed softly. "Otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it in the first place."

Drew answered with a small hum when he felt her lips on his neck and when she laughed, her breath tickled and made him smile.
"Your dad isn't going to give me that look of his just because I'm a sucky fisherman, right?" Drew asked, knowing that Mr. Hjort found very little right about him. And while Drew had been fishing a few times before, it wasn't like he was any sort of expert at it. He knew this would most likely be another reason for her dad to disapprove of him.

"That look?" she asked with a smirk. Did Drew all ready know her dad's look? It was somewhat menacing, but Felicity found it hilarious when it wasn't directed at her. Though, she figured a lot lately it was directed at Drew when he was around. Her dad didn't not like him, he just didn't know him yet. And she was sure they'd be able to get to know one another pretty easily. Drew was likable and Felicity found her dad to be as well.
Kissing his neck softly, Felicity pulled back and smiled at the Ravenclaw. "He might give you the look, but he doesn't give it to Freddy and Freddy isn't a very a good fisher either." Then again, Freddy was only turning seven that weekend.

Of course Drew knew the look. It was the only expression the man seemed to have when looking at him. A mingle of disappointment and disgust, a hefty amount of distrust thrown in for good measure, it was hard for Drew to miss.
But he smiled when she kissed his neck again, wishing once more that she could stay with him all night. Just the chance to have her in his arms, nuzzled up to him like she was, might be worth the risk.
But it was the thought of that look in Mr. Hjort's eyes. And not just the look, but the ceretainty that it could turn into much more if the man ever found out that they had just been making out under the stars. Drew was positive Allegra would be an only child if that ever happened.
"Freddy's his grandson," Drew pointed out, nuzzling his nose in her hair. "I think it's kind of different for me."

"I was trying to make you feel better..." Felicity answered him with a big grin. What else was she supposed to say? Her dad didn't give that look to Freddy, which was the truth, and he wasn't a very good fisherman, which was also the truth. But, Drew did bring up a valid point, Freddy was a grandson, therefore he shouldn't get that look because of his relationship with her father.
The feel of his nose in her hair made her smile. It was odd that a year ago she likely would've punched any boy that tried to get so close to her, other than Alexander. And yet, in less than a year she'd gone off to a whole new school, had a few very good and close friends, a couple of best friends, had finally decided she liked a boy, was kissing that boy, had dates with that boy, was that boy's girlfriend, loved that boy, and a number of other things. And it was only a year ago that she'd never thought of anything like that before.
Pulling back from him, only so she could kiss him again, Felicity placed her lips on his. She really needed to go to bed, but she didn't want to leave him yet.

"Good try," Drew teased, though the neck kissing did a lot more for making him feel better. He started wondering if he could be brave and stick out spending the whole day with her dad, if she might not kiss him like that some more. It was a possibility.
Drew had been fighting the urge to start kissing her again, knowing that would only make it harder for him once she decided to really go to bed, but when she placed her soft lips against his, he couldn't help but kiss her back. As long as she was in her bunk by the time her dad got up, what could he say?

It was a good try in her opinion, of course it would've been better had it actually of worked properly. The fact her dad and her boyfriend were going to go fishing on the same boat was an almost frightening thought, but at least her brother-in-laws would be there with him, and her cousin. It was good knowing some of her family seemed to at least like Drew a little bit. She'd be awfully sore if none of them liked him one bit.
Falling into that kiss was exactly what Felicity wanted to do, but knew she couldn't fall too deeply. She had to go to bed, no matter how poor of an option that sounded at this time. All she wanted to do was lay there in his arms and keep kissing him like that, but the fact she wasn't even sure how he felt about having her lying there with him and especially not knowing how he would feel about sleeping like that kept her from relying on false security that all was well.
Instead she pulled out of the kiss with a small, sheepish smile. "I should go to bed now."

"No... not yet..." he protested softly, a bit of a whine in his voice. Of course, if he got her to stay, it would only mean they'd start kissing again, then in a few moments, she'd say she had to go to bed, and he'd be disappointed once more. On the other hand, even if she was going to end up going to bed anyway, it meant a few more minutes with her.
He gave a deep sigh against her, reminding himself of the ramifications if they fell asleep and were discovered together in the morning. He thought that maybe he could figure out a way to do some stargazing with her when they got back to school. Possibly they could stay out longer that way.

A quiet giggle was Felicity's response to Drew. It sounded so odd, his voice with his request. She knew it wasn't extremely late, but if he was getting up early to go fishing with her dad even he should probably get to bed sometime as well. But with that tone he used, she couldn't not give in to his request for a little bit longer. Besides, it wasn't doing any harm to stay up with him, other than they would both be tired in the morning which would be a give away that they were up together all night long.
Reaching a hand up, Felicity gently caressed his cheek, loving the feel of his skin under her hand. Being unsure of what to say, the blonde just looked at him with a small smile on her lips. He didn't want her to go yet, and she didn't want to go either, but at the same time, she knew she had to soon.

He loved that giggle, especially since at that particular moment, it meant she wasn't leaving for bed right that second. They would have to go to sleep sometime, but hopefully he could get a few more minutes alone with her.
He sighed happily at her touch, glad she was staying, wondering how long it would last. His own hand found her hair and he twirled a blonde lock around his fingers. "Hey, what did you want me to bring my wand for?" he asked thinking it had been a funny request, but figuring it could buy him some more time with her.

Biting her lip nervously, she wondered if her asking would be all right with him. Of course, she didn't think he'd be mad about her reason for requesting him to bring it, but her parents had all ready questioned her about why she'd taken to sleeping with her light on in her room. Being alone after nearly a year of sleeping with others in the same room as her had made her nervous, especially when those others were there in case something happened in the dark, they'd hear. Being alone, she wasn't fond of it.
"In case something happened," she told him, looking into his blue eyes. "I mean, we're out here alone and I just...I'm still not really comfortable being completely without a wand around me." Her dad had made her leave hers at home, and her mum had hers as she knew of the going-ons of the wizarding world, but if she wasn't right near her mum, she wanted someone to have their wand and as she couldn't, Drew was the only other option.
Felicity didn't believe Drew would think her being a baby for it, but she preferred knowng that available form of protection was right there.

Drew didn't ask why she didn't bring her wand along, but he figured there were probably a few reasons. For him, on the other hand, it was like wearing his watch. It was habit having it on him, even if he doubted he'd really need it.
He kissed the top of her head, not thinking her babyish in the least. In fact, it made him feel awfully special, knowing she felt safer with him around. he still couldn't promise that nothing would happen to her, but he hoped she knew he'd do everything in his power to protect her.

Snuggling in close to Drew when he kissed her, Felicity sighed contentedly. While she didn't like admitting that what happened in January changed her, she knew it had. Jumpy about such things as loud noises or someone standing around a corner were the most noticeable to those who didn't know her well. Her overall personality had changed for those who knew her well enough. But for those who knew her best, they could just tell by looking at her. Felicity didn't like knowing she'd changed, and that her dad blamed it on Drew and Hogwarts, but most people didn't say anything about it. It was best to leave some things alone.
Closing her eyes for a moment, she had no problem letting her nose bury itself in his neck, finding that one spot on him. The cool night air felt comfortable, the starry sky above them was pretty, and Drew's skin was nice and warm, being in his arms gave her a loving feeling, and she was happy.

As she moved in closer, nuzzling his neck again, he held her tighter and let his own nose find her sweet smelling hair. He took a deep breath, enjoying just having her near, relaxing in the coziness of being wrapped up in the blanket with her.
"Don't fall asleep..." he warned softly as he closed his eyes and took another deep breath, reminding himself the importance of staying awake as much as telling her. It had been a long day, would be an early morning and the temptation to just drift off was so tempting. "I want to, but we can't, can we?"

"I won't if you don't," Felicity told him. Besides, she didn't know how he would feel about falling asleep together and she didn't want him thinking something different than she was thinking nor that she necessarily wanted to even if he didn't. It was a jumbled mess in her mind and she was wondering if she should bring it up. When something was on their minds and wouldn't go away, right?
And when he said he wanted to, a warm sensation flew through her body. Did that mean he was all right with the idea of it? Or did he mean he just wanted to go to sleep? But the blonde shook her head carefully. They couldn't. Her parents were right there and if someone came out of the tents and found them, they'd be in for a lot of trouble that really was unnecessary.
"I don't think it would be a smart move to," she told him pulling her nose from his neck and nuzzling his nose instead. "But if we could, would you want to? And you'd be all right with it?" They hadn't ever before, but did he think it would be something they could try together at Hogwarts, maybe some afternoon, just to see how it felt?
