"Not to keep throwing the same comment around, but I feel the same thing, too," Shay responded admittedly, putting her arm around his neck and lightly resting her head on his. In her mind, she gave an internal sigh. This was supposed to be the year to focus on her career, try to better it and get her into the more urgent and breathtaking news. Not only that, she still had to worry about her freelance to take up as many jobs as she could. She just didn't know how how or when Alfonz was thrown into the mix. Her ambitions were the same, but they differed from her desires, her want of Alfonz in her life. Good luck on distinguishing those, she thought, and agreed with her conscience. It would be hard... but it couldn't stop her to have both.
She was about to lean in for another kiss when a shrill sound escaped the kitchen. "Tea's ready," she commented, and hopped off of his lap to get it. Once she arrived in the kitchen not too far away, she took out her wand and levitated the kettle to pour tea in each mug. She never knew it until now, but she liked levitating things. It didn't rival her admiration for transfiguration, but she found herself using levitation even when she didn't need to. By then she had done it so many times that doing the small task was no problem. To think that five or six years ago she was more used to doing things the muggle way than the muggle way.
The kettle landed in the sink gently, and she put away her wand to hold the mugs by herself, including a small container of milk. "Here you go," she said as she handed him his tea, and put her own on the table. "Sugar's here," she pulled it from the center of the table to Alfonz. "Ooh, I forgot--" Again she pulled out her wand. "Accio spoons!" The drawers could be heard opening and two spoons came into her hands, making some soft clanks of metal. She handed one to him, and put hers right in, not before adding some milk into her tea. "There we go," she murmured as she pulled up a 'broken' chair.
