"And a bit scary," she tacked onto Dan's description the second he ended, grinning as he gestured with his hands and took hers along for the ride. "But that's part of the fun." Then she remembered how the boy playing Keeper had fallen off his broom. His name escaped her, but she remembered the moment. She had been the first to respond. Her eyes got wider as she looked back at Dan, but the reasoning behind it probably wasn't clear as her grin was still settled on her face.

" Of course. Wouldn't be fun without a little unpredictablity to it. " He said, then went on, " I thing that can kinda be applied to alot of things. " Dan stated softly as he was still looking over at Keagan who's, he had noted, eyes seemed to have grown slightly bigger. " What? " He asked her curiously. Her grin and the wide eyes made her face light up sort of like a jack o'lantern. It was contagious.

When Dan raised the opinion that the idea of unpredictability being fun could be applied to a lot of things, Keagan abandoned her train of thought momentarily for this new one. "Are you trying to say something?" she asked, keeping her smile from growing crooked, just in case she was wrong. Then, she responded to his curiosity. "I was just thinking about that guy who fell during that Quidditch game, that's all." She was trying to be nonchalant about it because, even though it had bothered her, she was a bit of a risk taker and wouldn't let it keep her from the game.

" What do you mean? " Dan asked, he was slightly confused and seemed to almost completely ignore her second statement with nothing but a slight nod. Deciding he might as well say what he was thinking about the guy, " That scared me a little bit. " Dan actually hadn't seen the fall, only what happened afterwards. He had been too busy guarding the Gryffindor Chasers.

Keagan shrugged. "Yeah..." she said, referring to the scare she had also received from it, but also signaling that she didn't really want to talk about it. Then she backtracked to his question. "What sort of things can that be applied to?" she rephrased, wondering what had provoked her to ask what she had previously asked as opposed to her current question.

Dan clearly got the message of how she didn't want to talk about it at all. " Um, food. " He finally decided on with a smile. " And trying new things. If everything in my life is so predictable. You know? " He questioned, feeling like he was rambling then just so she would understand him. He hoped she did.

"I get it," Keagan said, smiling. Then, she looked down at their still-intertwined hands and her smile softened. "I guess I just thought you were talking about something else. No big deal." With this she gently bumped her shoulder against Dan's and was once again reminded of how near to each other they each sat. The reminder only served to cause a blush to rise to the skin over her cheek bones uncalled for, a small blush, but a blush just the same.

" Yeah, it's ok. No big deal," Dan said with a smile as he also looked down to their hands. Once he felt Keagan's shoulder against his he looked up to her, a blush seemed to have crept its way across her face for some reason. " Your blush looks very nice on you, " He commented to her, still keeping his gaze where it was previously. Dan's smile remained.

Looking up at Dan and finding his gaze on her, Keagan reddened more at his statement. She hadn't realized she was blushing this time. Usually her face heated up considerably, but the coloring was so slight. "T-Thank you," she replied with a small smile as her gaze trained on his eyes. "You really think so?" The question was pretty much rhetorical, as he wouldn't have said it if he didn't mean it, but she felt compelled to ask regardless.

" Hm, no problem. " Dan said with a nod then he added, " Anytime. And yes. " He meant it very much. Looking back into Keagan's eyes Dan was reminded of how late it must have been getting allthough he didn't even care. Time was something they had plenty of time to go through. Especially since, allthought Dan wasn't quite sure, it was a weekened. With no classes tomorrow they didn't have to worry about teachers asking why they looked tired or kept yawning in class.

Her face still flushed, Keagan's smile turned slightly crooked as she continued to look into Dan's eyes and see her own image reflected back. Her thumb trailed slightly over the back of Dan's hand as she contemplated her next move. Then, ever so gently, Keag extended her neck and once again gave Dan a short kiss at the corner of his mouth. "Thank you, regardless," she said after she pulled back. It really was a sweet thing of him to say.

The corners of Dan's mouth curled up slightly as Keag kissed him, indicating a smile as she did so. As she pulled away Dan pretended to be dissapointed with the short kiss from her. He tried to pull off a pouting sort of expression only to find he could not. Dan smiled and leaned forward, giving Keagan a taste of her own sweet medicine.

Keagan giggled slightly as she watched Dan's reaction to her kiss. It seemed as though he was trying to form an expression that he couldn't pull off. She prefered his smile, anyway, and smiled in return as he leaned forward and returned her gesture.

Dan couldn't resist smiling at Keagan. She made him happier than he had been in quite some time. Ever since... Now wasn't the time to be thinking thought such as this so Dan pushed them out of his head. He moved their hands unconciously to rest inbetween the both of them. As he did this Dan still didn't break his gaze with Keagan. " Ok, I have a question... What now? " He then asked her.

As Dan continued to look at her, smiling, and as he absently moved their hands, the right side of Keagan's smile quirked a bit higher, and it became even more lopsided following his question. "Now, if I recall correctly, that was my question," Keagan replied. "But in my opinion, it's up to you. I'm game for...pretty much anything." Keag nodded toward the end of her statement. It was obvious to her that Dan had far more experience and was more in touch with his emotions than she, so she left the conclusion to him.
