Brittany whipped around as a voice answered from behind her. Seeing Keagan walk in she was glad to hear the familiar voice. She seemed to be in a good mood and was glad to see that someone was. Giggling she egged her on, "Keep that attitude! Cept you can lose the nauscious part along with that tinge of nervousness that you mentioned."

Cripes, game day came a day or several too quick. Entering the locker room he looked around briefly, feeling as though he was the last to arrive, which, in essence, he was. His solution to getting ready was to just throw the quidditch robes over his regular ones and get in the air. And so, that was exactly what he did, except of course, get in the air. Stupid bloody waiting...
This time taking a long look around the locker room he nodded. "Well, guess this is it..." He murmured as he glanced toward the exit doors. Having not arrived in time to hear his Lion-Sister's question he leaned against the lockers now, the weather was certainly not planning on playing a neutral factor today.

Drew climbed the stands and bypassed the ravenclaw section to sit with the Lions. He was wearing a bright red sweatshirt and while he wasn't sure if Alhana would be watching or playing this game, he was definitely supporting Gryffindor.
And it didn't hurt to check out the competition for their next game...

"I feel pretty nervous." started Anna. "But that's not going to stop me!" Even though this wasn't her first game, she was still nervous. "I'll be fine once I get up in the air." she continued, "I guess it's just a mix of nerves and excitment." Then she got up and when to go get her broom that was leaning against the wall.

Mike walked into the Hufflepuff Locker room, his Firebolt over his shoulder and he was already in his gear, he wanted to get the match over quickly and with a Hufflepuff win, they had always been the underdogs and deserved to win.
And the Gryffindors would be the first to feel the sting of the Hufflepuff squad, all be it they missed 1 player they could still take them down, especially with Krissy leading them.
"You all ready for this?"
He said as he sat down and looked at the rest of the team, they had quite a bit of youth in the squad, compared to Gryffindor's experience line up.

"That's usually a great motivator," Beni said to the last of Annna's comment. She had been doing some low flying by herself to build up a tolerance againt her broom-sickness. But just to be sure, she had taken a potion prescribed by her own doctor. She hated it because it gave her killer headaches, but she was going to risk that for that day in case she needed to go in.
Saluting to Miss Captain Garland, she grinned. "Reporting to duty, Captain Garland. If you need me, I'll be on the sidelines warming up."

Anna just stood there holding on to her broomstick when Benita came in through the door. "I'm sure you will be fine." Anna said to Benita. "Now we just have to wait for the last few people to show up, if not we are going to be in trouble." The suspence was killing her. Now she really wanted to get up in the air.

Brittany was particularly worried about what Anna had just said. They were still missing Cameron and Cali, the seeker and the chaser. Those two positions were a big part of the team especially the seeker though. Hearing Beni say that she would fly what she needed her to she was cheered a bit. The girl got broom-sickness yet she was still willing to fly, now that was true loyalty. Smiling around at the group, she tried to make a positive.
"We only need Cali and Cameron. Then, we're off to win this match." Brittany cheered encouragingly.

"This is it..." He murmured once more, as he shook his head, trying to psych himself up for what was going to be his first game as Gryffindor's keeper. Sure, he'd played the position before, but, it didn't mean as much then. It was just, amusement. He hardly considered himself the best keeper, but he was good enough for this, right? He had to be, there wasn't any turning back now.
Swallowing hard he opened the door a crack to sample the weather for the day once more. Rain, again, rather, still. As if nervousness wasn't enough, his first game had to be played in this crap.
"Anyone else feel like me this mornin'?" He questioned the five person group with a raised eyebrow.

"MIKE!" Krissy claimed exstatically. She was glad he came, she wasn't sure if he would be playing today but had been hoping greatly that he would. "Here!" she said handing him also a glass of hot chocolate. "Should help with the weather slightly" she said with a grin.
She pulled Mike to the side slightly. "I'm worried Seanna wont show and we need a seeker..." she whispered quietly to him. "I think shes sick or something. And I dunno who to get to play seeker for us, I mean I could probably do it but I'm the only beater and so I need to play my position" She kept it quiet from the rest of the team because she wanted to keep up team spirits and she knew telling thwm they were missing players would be a problem. But telling Mike would be ok, because he was the other person who oculd have been captain and she trusted his opinion greatly.

Roxy happily took the drink from Krissy and drank it down in almost one huge gulp. It looked like one huge one but as really about 3 because her mouth just wasn't big enough to drink it all in one, unfortunately, in her opinion. "T'anks" she said as she put her new quidditch robes on. She had been recruited only recently by Krissy but was ready as ever to play and because she got onto her team her dad bought her a brand new set of quidditch robes for which she was extremely happy about.
"So whats tha game plan?" she asked, watching Krissy curiously as she spoke to Mike silently, though she guessed it was just about something to do with the couple or Mike missing practises as she knew the two were an item.

Mike had barely glanced down at the hot chocolate now in his hands, when Krissy had pulled him aside and told him about the situation. He quickly drank back the Hot chocolate before answering Krissy, it's warmth heating him up from the inside out. His eyes locked with hers and he smiled, a cocky smile, his cocky smile, which Krissy knew all too well.
"I'll play seeker, we can play with 2 chasers, the keeper can score too remember"
He said with a slight wink, he had a plan worked out
"I don't want you to protect me out there, just worry about the others and protect the goals as best as you can"
He could tell she wouldn't want to leave him unprotected out there, but it had to be done if they wanted to even stand a chance at winning
"Trust me, i'll be fine"
He said before placing a soft kiss on her lips before walking back to the team
"Stand Tall and Fly Strong Guys, this is our chance to make our mark on this Quidditch Cup, beating the Lions today will put us one step closer to our dream of winnning the Cup.......it's ours we just have to take it, remember stay focused and we can't lose"
He said turning back to Krissy waiting for her to add anything
((Might as well get us on the pitch))

Krissy was a little worried about not protecting Mike but she alsoknew he was a good flyer and could look after himself. And he would have been her pick for seeker out of the team. She had trust in allher players abilitys. But she also hoped things would go ok. She smiled gently as he kissed her softly, calming her worrys about not protecting him. She played beater because she knew she could help her whole team that way, while protecting the goals and her members and she was going to be damned if she was going to let them get hurt today. She was ready for a rough game.
She walked up behind Mike and nudged him "I'm trusting you" she said softly to him "Good luck"
She raised her voice louder for the team to hear. "This is going to be a hard game today, and though I know its many of you's first game I know your going to do totally awesome out there because we've practised hard and we've trained like pro's and you all have great potential and are keeping up the name of Hufflepuff in our Quidditch skills. Just play and have fun, remember winning is just bonus points. We play to have fun, not to win and if, while having fun, we happen to win, so be it, added bonus. Now lets get out there and kick some lion butt" she said loudly to the team in a high spirited voice.
At this she swung her leg over her broom and flew out onto the pitch, taking off to do a couple laps around the field.

Mike followed Krissy out, and shot straight up into the air, the rain drenching him almost immediatley
Oh yay, make my job that much easier
He had played seeker in his 1st and 2nd years, but then grew too big for the position, but at least he would have size on his side and of course experience and skill over the Gryffindor seeker.
Whomever it was, he wasn't too sure. With a quick shrug he shot down towards Krissy
"Who's their seeker?"
He asked her keeping close to her

She saw Mike come up next to her and Abi on her other side. "Their seeker is meant to be Cali Oakly, but we can also presume its their substitute Benita Hendrix." she said loudly to Mike through the pouring rain. She had her sources of information about who played where and each team. And they much it muchly easy for her to tell Mike. "You'll have an advantage over their seeker today though, because the normal lightness of the seeker in weather like this will turn to be a disadvantage. Your heavier so the wind and rain will have less of an effect on you." She said pointedly to Mike.
"Abi, you and Dias will be our chasers, Roxy will help as much as possible and I'll protect you by hitting as many bludgers as possible." Krissy almost had to yell to be heard through the rain. But she felt warm inside and thats all that mattered.
She took her hand off her broom to wave to Ari and Addison, and who she presumed to be Aston as she came shooting past the Ravenclaw stands.
