Beni nodded as she took her commands and took the pitch, the used Nimbus in her hand as she took posession of the seeker position and the air. Her nerves were washed away as she was finally on the stage and in action. The thing she had to do now-- fly and wait.
"This snitch is a quick fellow," Beni commented as she already spotted flashes of gold. Scanning through the players, the rain, and clouds, she took a slow speed. Her headache wasn't getting better, but she at least she wasn't feeling dizzy as she usually did.

Anna kept a very sharp eye out for any bludgers. She flew close to the chasers to make sure they don't get hit. She saw Dan flying a little away from her and nodded. She saw the Hufflepuff beater hit the bludger she bat to another direction. A few seconds later she saw that the same bludger came back heading in their direction. She flew toward it and hit it toward one of the Hufflepuff chasers. As it speed toward its target, Anna took a quick glance at Benita to make sure she was ok before flying back to the chasers.

"Righto!" Keagan exclaimed as Britt finished her speech. "Let's hop to it!" Ignoring the rain as it wasn't too cold for her, only wet, she followed the captain onto the pitch, her broom swung back over one shoulder. As Brittany spoke to the ref, and then as the ref gave his own speech, Keagan let her broom down off her shoulder and rubbed her hands together to dry and warm them slightly.
Finally, the time came to take off. Earlier, Keag had placed a water repellant charm on her broom, keeping one thing, at least, completely dry. She was glad she had thought to do so when she took off and watched as others did, some of them slipping when their brooms moved. However, she got her head in the game quickly and took off after Brittany, catching the quaffle a few times as it was tossed between the three chasers. She caught a cue from Britt signaling her plan, and wasn't surprised when the ball landed in her hands following Brittany's maneuver. The three girls were nearing the hoops at a ridiculous pace, and coming within scoring distance, Keagan faked a throw as she passed the quaffle off to Marian.

Krissy got to the bludger just in time and with a large whack sent it flying at Marian, who at the time, had the Quaffle. "Abi duck!"she called as the other bludger was sent flying at her and she watched thankfully as Abi ducked away from the bludger and it kept flying accross field, tracing downanother player. She zoomed foreward after the bludger, playing for twoplayers was hard but at least she had a fast broom and alot of skill as a beater.

Now they were playing ping-pong. Who knew? Dan darted quickly after the speading bludger that was moving quickly towards Marian. Dan reached it barely in time, swinging forcefully and sending it flying in only God klnow's what direction. Somewhere towards Hufflepuff... He let his right arm fall to his side, resting before he resumed doing what he had been.

Krissy watched as Abi zoomed towards Marian arriving next to her and beginning to fight for the quaffle. But Krissy didn't stay still long she was off accross the pitch omce more. Flying as fast and as tactfully as she possibly could aiming to send as many bludgers at the Gryffindor players a humanly possible. Wether she'd have the energy to stand at the end of the game was another question because she was pushing herself to and past her limits but she wasn't planning on stoping any time soon.
She reached the bludger and smacked it towards Brittany. Sending it flying at a break neck speed. She knew she wouldn't be able to get all the bludgers but she also knew neither would the Gryffindors.

Mike swerved suddenly and headed back up towards Gryffindor's seeker. A smirk played on his face now as she looked under the weather so to speak and not very comfortable on her broom.
I wonder Mike thought to himself
He slowly started circling her, like a shark circling it's prey. But his eyes weren't on her, he was paying attention to where the snitch had gone. The weather wasn't helping, but it would slow the snitch down in the end.
Suddenly he saw a glint of gold down towards the Gryffindor goals and shot off towards it, laying in close to his broomstick for more speed.
He was getting closer and closer, and it was definetly the snitch

Anna was a little far from Britt when she saw a bludger heading right toward her. At the same time, she saw the Hufflepuff seeker flying very fast. "Oh-no!" she thought to herself. "Dan!" she shouted, "Protect Britt!" and then flew right toward a bludger that was closer to the seekers. She hit the bludger and it went speeding toward him at breakneck speed. "Benita!" she shouted and pointed toward the other seeker. Then she noticed the Hufflepuff beater was not to far away, so she followed the bludger she just hit toward the other person.

Keagan sighed as she watched Krissy hit a bludger straight for Marian, gunning for the quaffle holder. 'Apparantly, my fake didn't work,' she thought, grimacing as a Hufflepuff chaser went after Marian, too. "Marian, quick!" she called, holding her hands out as a signal to pass the quaffle. Marian did, and Keagan then tossed it back to Brittany, pulling her broom to the side to leave space for the older girl to fly forward and take a shot, ending up behind Britt, in direct line of the bludger Krissy had managed to smack toward the lead chaser.

"Oh Merl--" Beni accelerated from her steady pace to a quicker speed. She had been momentarily creeped out by the bloke who seemed to circle around her. And the headache didn't help either. Still, she was able to say that she would choose a headache over broom-sickness at that point.
"We'll play his game, that's for sure," Beni huffed out at she arched her path to the goals. As she was on the tail of the Hufflepuff seeker, she waved her hand at Corey, and motioned him to stall the opposing seeker. She needed time, and she wasn't going to let him beat her because of her disadvantage.

Brittany loved the way that the new chasers were catching on so fast. It relaxed her a bit and she knew she would be able to ease up on the team next practice. Of course, the team needed some oil on the squeaky parts but they were doing fairly well for a mostly new team. Having not even noticed the bludger that Krissy had smacked towards her she was totally focused on the location of the quaffle.
Dipping to the left goal she flew a tight circle around the goal post. Then coming back up high, while the Huffle keeper was still wondering what she was doing. She took the shot aiming for the center of the right hoop. A strong force behind the quaffle made it wisk through the air towards the goal, but she didn't have time to see if it had went in. The girl had a team to take care of now and she was already focused on the other positions of the game. Spotting the bludger zooming towards Keagan she screamed, "Everyone down ten feet!"
Lowering her broom her self, she wanted to make sure that none of her players were hit with that thing that had such a powerful pressure behind it. Though this seemed to line the Huffle keeper right up for the ball, she was already going in for another order. "Dan take to protecting Beni and firing bludgers at Mike! Anna keep doing what you're doing! Girls, up the field...Huffle's ball!" She shouted the last part to her left and right hand chasers, knowing that the Huffle keeper, if she avoided the bludger, would toss the quaffle to a Hufflepuff chaser.

" Right! " Dan yelled out to Britt as he made his way over to Beni, keeping an eye on the rest of the game as he did so. Something about the Hufflepuff's seeker was sneaky. He knew Mike was a good guy but this was afterall Quidditch. Seeing no nearing bludgers he stopped and looked around trying to spot the snitch if he could.

Anna, hoping to distract the Hufflepuff seeker, dove downward and flew under him. Then, with a sudden burst of speed she shot upward and passed directly infront of the seeker. Not looking back to see if what she had done was enough, she speed off toward the Gryffindor Chasers where she thought she was needed most. As she neared, she saw the bludger approching even closer to them. She leaned against her broom with her bat ready. "Come on, Come on!" she thought. "Britt, duck!" she shouted. "She swung her bat around and hit the bludger, but narrowly. It speed off toward Krissy's direction.

Krissy swung hat bat once more sending it this time at the Gryffindor seeker. The Gryffindor beater really shouldn't have hit the bludger right to her because she was going to hit it back justas hard and with accuracy. Krissy was playing as hard as she possibly could and charged once again off after the next bludger which had been shot at Mike and missed. She reached it and swung hat bat once more, sending at Brittany. She knew Brit was one of the best players on the team so if she kept shooting bludgers at her it might help keep her out of the game a bit more. "Go Mike Go!" she yelled accross the field.

Mike knew the snitch wasn't there, but Benita didn't. She had fallen into his trap, her fall would be softened by the mud, but it would give him ample time to scope out the snitch. He quickly steepened his dive, not so much that it would be obvious what he was doing but just enough for Benita not to have enough time to come out of the dive.
The Wronskei Feint, one of the first moves Mike learnt as he grew up, his father had taught him.
And he wasn't about to let his father down, he accelerated more, suddenly out of the corner of his eye he saw a glint of gold. Just before the ground, Mike pulled out of the death defying dive and shot off towards the snitch
