Shoving her packaged into the locker, Arianna grasped her broom and headed out with her team. She was surprised there had been no questions about her lateness, but didn't mind. She wasn't sure she wanted to say anything right now anyway.
With her hair streaked with blue (it was all she would allow, not wanting a greasy face), Arianna trudged to the middle of the field, trying to get herself hyped for the match.

"Hey, remember though, chasers take priority, Drew and Hiro are good. Don't take 'em lightly..." Corey warned with a small nod. He'd hid out nearby during a few of their practices, or warmups or, whatever it was either way, Ravenclaw, would be a difficult challange.
As he noticed their team enter the pitch he couldn't help but snicker. "What...the bloody...'ell...is that?!" He exclaimed, his snickering turning into full blown laughrer. "Way to pull the house pride card." He found himself muttering after he'd regained his compsure. They were rallied, practiced and prepared, Gryffindor, well, they were here at least.

((Like, everyone?))
Deryn flew around a few more times, and nearly fell off her broom when a voice boomed through the stadium. No...was that..it was. "Will," Deryn whispered, smiling. He so was the commentator now eh? Flying over to the box where the voice had come from, Deryn hovered in front of the box for a moment before speaking. "What the bloody hell did you do to your hair?!" she exclaimed, gasping at the sudden shock of blue that she saw.

"Hey!" Will said, but then realized his voice was still booming through the stadium. He turned bright pink and pulled out his wand, muttering "Quietus" before speaking again. "Hey," he said again, "You like? All the Eagles did it for the game. Look," Will replied, his voice back to normal, and pointing towards the team that had finally started to come out of the changing room.
Now that the teams were coming out, Will needed to get back to work. "Alright. Back to work. Good luck though," Will said winking at Deryn. Pointing his wand at his throat again, he muttered "Sonorous" and continued commentating. "Here comes the Ravenclaw team, sporting their newest fashion trend of blue hair and face paint. Compliments to the bird brain, pun intended, who thought that one up," he commentated, touching his own blue hair.

With a grim smile, Professor Hailey greeted the teams as they met in the center. He gave them no instructions, figuring they would already know his usual pre-game speech, told them to mount their brooms, let the balls go, and blasted his whistel. Once the kids were off, he jumped on his own broom and followed them up.

Lily gained posession of the quffle immeadiately. She started making her way down the feild, blonde-blue hair flying behind her. She looked around as she flew, being very careful to be aware of the position of everyone else on the feild and the position of the bludgers - she wasn't too worried about that though, Drew and Hiro always had her back.

As the match started Dante couldn't help but stand up, specially since his team was in possession of the quaffle, to see the action going on in the air better.
"I hope or beaters are good," he muttered to himself, under his breath, while part of him followed Lily through the air and the other part shot a glance at the very dangerous bludgers zooming from one part of the field to the other. One of the reasons quidditch never appealed much to him were the stories of people getting injured by said evil objects, he could only hope today they wouldn't hit anyone.

Post by Keagan Gerislynn on May 13, 2006 12:25:15 GMT -5
Keagan, her misgivings about the murder compounded with the events of the Slytherin v. Gryffindor game, was not in her normal happy-go-lucky mood on this game day. In fact, she wasn't happy at all. However, her duty lay with her team, at least until the end of the season, so she had showed up; though, she wasn't happy about it.
Avoiding her teammates as she prepped in the locker room, she doubted anyone knew she was there. Frankly, she didn't really care. Keag just wanted to get out there, give the game her all, and then go back to her moping. It didn't help that her best friend was nowhere to be found at the moment. The teenager trudged onto the field after she left the locker room, and only mounted her broom when the referee instructed them to. The game was on.
Cursing under her breath when Lily snagged the quaffle out from under her nose immediately after the game began, Keagan took off behind the Ravenclaw chaser, desperate to get that quaffle back. Lily was going pretty fast though, so it might take a while. Keag's current number one priority was simple - do not let them score.

"The Quaffle is released, along with the Bludgers and the Snitch, and the game begins! Ravenclaw take possession of the Quaffle quickly and head down the pitch," Will announced. He watched his team flying down the pitch and wanted to cheer, but knew he wasn't allowed. He would have given anything to be out playing, but his position was now commentator, and that's the closet he would get to the match.
"It looks as if the Eagles have just woken the Lions, as Gerislynn is quick after Viteri," came William's voice. It looked like this was going to be an exciting game.

As lily took hold of the quaffle, Drew did everything in his power to keep her safe from the other team. He gave a resounding whack to the first bludger he found, sending it flying towards Keagan.

Anna flew along side the chasers, just like she did in just about every game, to make sure they didn't get hit by any bludgers. Ravenclaw right now had the quaffle and she had to try to make sure they didn't score. Not to long after they got the quaffle, she saw a bludger pelting toward Keagan. Raising her beaters bat, she flew toward it and changed it's direction so instead of going for Keagan, it went for Lily.

Drew had anticipated the defensive move from the Gryffindor beater and had found the second bludger quickly. With a strong SMACK he hit it off towards the first one, letting it bang off course and away from Lily.

Anna, seeing what the Ravenclaw beater did, continued to fly with the chasers. However, since he hit both of the bludgers closer to her maybe she could use that to her advantage. Of course the bludgers don't move in a straight direction and one of them turned to her direction. Raising her bat, she smacked it back toward Lily. She then flew toward the other hit it toward the Ravenclaw beater, but she didn't realize she aimed for him at first.

Drew had learned that mistake early on and was glad the other beater had not. He had been flying as fast as he could after the bludgers when another came right at him. With another swing of his bat he belted it towards Lily, just as he had done before, causing the bludger chasing her to get pinballed off in a different direction.

Scott took off after Lily once he realized she had the quaffle. he followed under her and a bit behind her, still a bit nervous about this game. Trailing behind Lily was easy enough, however he turned his head slightly and seen the bludger headed straight for her. "Come on Lily, pick up speed or something!" he exclaimed loud enough for her to hear. he didn't want the bludger to hit the flower, but he hoped one of the beaters would get to it before it got too close to her.
