Anna knew the other beater was going to try the samething if she hit the bludger toward him. As soon as she hit the bludger in his directiion, she flew as fast as she could to stay close to the bludger. When the two colided again, it had done the same thing as before. Yet again, she got one of the bludgers and smacked it as hard as she could toward Lily. When the other made a u-turn toward the players, she hit it in another direction toward the other Ravenclaw players and away from the beater.

{godmodding Lily because I know she won't hate me for it}
Allegra was on Lily's other side quickly, thankful her beaters were two of the best in the school. She took the pass from her Ravensister and quickly shuffled it off to Scott, making sure she stayed close and open in case he needed to pass it back.

As soon as Allegra passed the quaffle off to him, Scott shot off as fast as possible. While he trusted the beaters, he still didn't want to chance being hit by one of the bludgers. he chanced a glance and seen one of the bludgers headed toward the players, he wasn't sure whether to pass off the quaffle or continue. After a moment's hesitation he passed the quaffle back to Allegra and decided to pull back, that way the bludger was likely to go after him than her, though he stayed close behind her in case she, too, needed to pass off.

{if you knew I was going to do it, why'd you do it anyway?}
Drew was on the bludger closest to the chasers, leaning low over his broom to pick up better speed. The Gryffindor beater was good, but he knew he and Hiro were better. Getting within reach of the ball, he smacked it down towards the ground. By the time it had changed direction, his chasers would be well out of it's range. Knowing there was a second one to deal with, he went after that one as well.

Allegra avoided the bludgers with a tight barrel roll, taking the pass from Scott just as she uprighted herself again. The game second nature to her and she she tucked the quaffle close as she sped towards the rings.

The whistle was blown and the chasers were off, Ravenclaw had the quaffle. After Drew hit the bludger toward the ground, it took off toward Keagan. Rael sped after the bludger, bat held tightly. As she flew up on it she hit hard toward the three Ravenclaw chasers, not really aiming for a particular one.

Hiro had held back when the three chasers formed up, with the three of them plus Drew as guard it wasn't looking good for the lions. Another smack of a bat sounded slightly behind him and without the bell Hiro knew it was one of the other team's beaters. Hiro sent the formation breaking bludger to a new course just behind the formation to try and slow down any who were following.

((Thanks Leggy. Wise choice when I told you I wouldn't be back. You're a doll )) As soon as Lily had passed off the quaffle, she made sure to stay level, if not a little bit ahead of whosoever on their team had the ball. She had heard the bludgers behind her several times, but she wasn't worried, she knew Drew and Hiro had her back. They always had and they would continue to do so. So she backed up Allegra and Scott and played on.

He found himself gulping down air, mainly because he saw all three Ravenclaw chasers coming toward him and following the quaffle was going to be difficult. On top of that they had a bloody beater screening. It was them versus him basically and he knew it. But didn't want to admit it.
"Here's to miracles and a good save." He muttered halfheartedly to himself.

((Good Merlin you people post fast))
Will had nearly lost his mind, trying to watch and commentate what was happening. "Viteri passed to Thornton, who passes back Christopherson. Christopherson passes back to Thornton. I sure hope the Gryffindors are a lot less confused than I am. Good hit by the Beater, there," said Will, trying hard to follow and pick up on everything, "Gryffindor's getting a little behind here, step it up guys." Will realized he was talking so much about his own house that he hadn't commentated on Gryffindor lately.
Glancing around the pitch, Will saw Deryn, who was still flying around. "No sign on the Snitch yet! And there goes Ravenclaw down the pitch towards the Gryffindor Keeper."

(We try)
Three Ravenclaws...one of him, and no help. The three to one ratio wasn't rightly all that fair, but it was how the game was played. Next question. Who had the quaffle. The announcer chap was Ravenclaw and he could be just playing around trying to confuse him with alternating between the chasers. They were so close knit thoughg he could barely see when the quaffle shifted in the first place.
He was actually uneasy, not intimidated, just uneasy sbout this particular game. He hadn't found his element quite yet.

((Britt is gone for two weeks, so I'll write her in ) Keagan had kept tight behind Lily, even when the quaffle was passed. Her beaters were doing a fair job of keeping her on her broom, but Keag didn't allow herself a false sense of security. You couldn't let your guard down, even for a minute, on the Quidditch pitch. The Ravenclaw formation was so close that there wasn't a particular need for Keagan to try and cover each chaser seperately. However, the short distance between them meant there wasn't much chance of Keagan nabbing the quaffle. It seemed the goal was now more to help Corey than to steal the quaffle. When she realized this, Keag finally realized that it seemed she was alone in her pursuit, but a quick glance over her shoulder let her know that Britt was gaining, too. "I wonder what kept her," the fifth year thought before getting her head in the game and pushed her broom a little faster to pull up on Lily's vacant side. Britt would cover them behind. Now the question was, where's the third chaser?

Cameron jumped on her broom. She needed to get in the game. Cam flew over to Keagan. "Sorry guys...a little moment when I wasn't here, but i'm here now."Cameron said. She had a very apologetic look on her face, and she flew around. I'm here...get your head in the game, cameron..Cameron thought.

Allegra had the ball and hoped that the rest of her team could provide enough distraction as she attempted the shot. Speeding into range, she waited for an opening and threw the ball towards the rings.

Even though she really didn't want to post, Arianna figured she should probably let everyone know that she was still playing and looking for the snitch. Oh, joys. How fun. She wasn't seeing anything yet, though, so it was, indeed, great fun to fly about, dodging the rare bludger (yeah, VERY rare, concidering everyone always focused on the chasers, who earned a piddly ten points while seeker gained one hundred and fifty with one catch, ultimately winning the game) and keeping her eye out for that annoying little golden ball. Ooo, I wonder how much a muggle would pay for gold like that...
