Krissy smiled as Nessa showed up and even more so as Matty did. "Matty, if we don't see dorf soon you may be getting a game" Krissy said looking around with a slightly worried look. She didn't want to need to play someone else instead of Dorf, but then again Dorf was just being an alternate too, but if they needed a player they needed a player. It was that simple. She had made her way out onto the pitch with the others and too could see the Raven's blue hair "Yeah, they do it sometimes, team sprit and all" Krissy said to Nessa with a grin.
"Guy, come here" Krissy called out to her team. Indicating for the huffles to come over. She had a little more to say yet. "Now, I'm gunna get straight to the point our old co-captain has ong since left Hogwarts and so, we need a new one, I have gone through alot of careful decision making and I'd like ya all to congradulate Pat on being the new Huffle quidditch co-captain." She knew Mike would be slightly upset as he was her other option for co-captain and she knew he wanted the position but it was just the way things had turned out. Krissy turned and gave Pat a grin as if to say well done.

Jake laughed as Talia gave a rock out sign to all of the Hufflepuffs and he cheered with a laugh. He caught her eye briefly and smiled. He propped the sign in the seat next to him that Matty had vacated. He figured since she left in such a rush she would have to play. Maybe she was an alternate for the team? Jake didn't really know the roster for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. He made note to cheer for Matty especially if she was playing. She seemed nice, even though he didn't know her too well.

Allegra ignored Mike's comments (which was all right since Drew answered for her pretty much) as she took the field. She was just glad that the rest of the Huffle team knew what good sportsmanship was all about.
She took her warm up laps with a wide grin, enjoying the wind in her face. As she passed the Ravenclaw stands, she spotted the brilliant sign Ash had created... and the small flame on the corner. "Ash! Heads up!" she called out to the younger girl as she zipped past. She just hoped the sign would be extinguished before the damage was irreperable.

Kyle walked out to the pitch after his team members. One look at the number of people looking at the pitch was close enough to dissolve his resolution. "I was insane to agree to play," he muttered to himself as he slowly edged towards the bench. The cheers of his housemates made him regain his confidence a little, but the boos of the other houses reminded him strongly he's as nervous as he had ever be.
"I can do it, I can do it," he started chanting. "I can do it, but I probably won't need to do it."

(Ivy's terrible at magic, so the sign is probably burnt only a little bit in the corner ^^) Ivy decided to move towards Jake, because some of the weird second years kept oggling at her. She cried out for Talia. "GO TALIA!! FOR THE BOYS-- AIM FOR THE--" but Ivy's cheers were drowned out by other cheers of joy from the Hufflepuff side. So far, so good. Hufflepuff was leading the game.(yeah, I'm a dumbass... )

Pat had walked out of the locker room with the rest of the team, but hadn't ascended into the air straight away. He decided to take it all in, looking up into the stands; it was good to see people cheering for them, some not even from Hufflepuff. The hype was obvious for the whole of the crowd, though; it was the opening game of the season, after all.
When Krissy called her group huddle, Pat was a bit surprised to hear she'd made him co-captain. His face showed only a happy confidence, however, as he grinned back at Krissy, as well as to his teammates. "Thanks," he said, guessing he should say a quick word. "These Ravens have spirit, but nothin' like ours. We'll take this game." He looked at his teammates' faces again; he truely believed that they'd win this, and nothing, especially not the Raven team, could keep them from taking the Cup.

Ash glanced over at Allegra as she had shouted something to her. Head's...up? Huh? Ash looked up at her sign and her enthusiasm for the game vanished, instead it was replaced with shock and well...more shock. She saw the small, dancing light grow larger and larger upon the edge of her sign. She screamed after she had finally realized that it was fire. Her sign was on fire! Human instinct told her to throw the sign down, so she did. Her hands covered her face as she stomped on the small flame with her tennis shoes.

{Ivy, the RP game hasn't started yet } Drew took another lap at top speed, barrel rolling as he swung around the far end of the pitch. With his lap done, he pulled up to his place around the center of the pitch, waiting for the balls to be released and the whistle to sound.

Talia waved once more to the crowd, and went down to the middle of the pitch to see what the captain wanted. She smiled as Pat was annouced Co-captain, and punched him in the shoulder. "Nice, getting co-captain man." She said, and stood on the ground. She listened as he spoke and nodded, "We so got this." She said, ready to go back into the air as soon as everyone was done with their little pre-game speaches.

Hmmm. This wasn't good. Arianna's hair (which didn't need to be painted after it was already perma-streaked by Beni) was too short to pull back into a ponytail and too long to let it fly free. She tried compromising with a half-pony, but that wasn't working either. Arianna started to wonder why she had chosen to cut her hair like this. And how did she get through practices? Oh, yeah, that's right. She had that baseball cap. There was no way, though, that she would wear a green hat to a game. She had to find another way to fix this.
"ALLEGRA!" Arianna hurried to catch up with the Head Girl, hair whipping at her face.

The minute Krissy had told them all that she had named Pat the co captain of the side, Mike kicked off the ground, hard, and shot up into the air. The position that should of been his, was now taken by Krissy's lover boy. She had said it had taken careful consideration
Yeah whatever, she was always going to choose Pat over me
Mike thought in the back of his mind, but it wasn't worth dwelling on it, as they had a Quidditch match to win. If he had of been named co-captain, right about now he would be yelling at the team to get their butts in the air, but instead he was in his spot in the centre of the pitch, his knuckles white as he gripped his broom, more tightly than normal...but thats to be expected.

Krissy bit her lip watching Mike as he took off. She could see the obvious rage dwelling within him. It was tantrums like that that was a factor against putting him as the co-captain. She couldn't have someone as co-cap who was gunna chuck little hissy fits all over the place.. But still, she hated upsetting him. She hated upsetting anyone. She frowned slightly watching him for a moment.
But her attention, much like normal strayed from the situation at hand as she heard Ari call out to Allegra. Krissy decided to head over to see them too. She couldn't play against some of her favourite people without wishing them luck. She would deal with Mike later. Krissy began heading over to Ari and Allegra.

Sarsha had been informed that there was a quidditch match on which, though it wouldn't normally have drawn her attention, it did. Because though she wasn't a fan of sports, she didn't know anything about this one and her and Kyle had agree'd to come watch the matches together. So that was what brought Sarsha out into the grounds that day. She followed the croud of people down to the pitch, it wasn't hard to find considering amount of people heading down there.
She followed all the others up into the stands, wondering how in the world she would find Kyle amounst the large mass of people. She began walking along the isles of chair's making her way to some at the front so she could look down at the field. Maybe Kyle wasn't there yet.
Sarsha looked out onto the quidditch pitch, looking at the team in yellow and the team in blue, she had met some of the yellow ones, and she recognised the one girl, Ari whom she had met on the train. But her eyes were drawn to the smellest person in blue robes. Sarsha focussed on him suddenly realising with a shock that it was Kyle. A worried expression carried itself onto her face. He said this game could be brutal. She was suddenly worried that he might get hurt. Afterall, she knew nothing about the game except what Kyle had said. She bit her lip slightly in worry, her eyes remaining on her friend.

Alexis went outside with the rest of the team to see what Krissy was going to tell them. When Pat was announced as co-captain, she saw Mike take off into the air in what looked like furry. "Congratulations Pat!" she told him. Looking around, she saw a few eagles in the air and Alexis couldn't wait to get this game started. Mounting her broom, she took off and started going around the stadium.

Dean didn't see the point on sitting practically by himself on the Slytherin side so he made his way up the stairs of the Ravenclaw side. They were the house and team he could deal with more. There was no way he was going to cheer for Hufflepuff, especially as he saw Mike Rolen doing a few laps. Dean smiled a little smugly as he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket. He stood at the top of the stairs leading into the Ravenclaw seats and spotted Ash. He nodded and made his way over to her. " Hey, " Dean said, taking a seat next to her as he did so. He looked at the still smoking sign with his brows raised in question.
