"I could get my bandage, but it'll take me a while to run up there and back," he warned her, knowing she'd be fine on her own, but worried she'd leave before he returned with his own first aid kit.
Finding the older Ravenclaw was a little trickier. He wasn't sure where she would be, but if she wasn't in some of the usual spots, he could leave her a note. "And I'll look for Ari," Drew assured Felicity.

"All right," she told him. Felicity had been on her way to the office anyway, so it wouldn't be that big of a deal for her to stick it out by herself. She had an essay she had to write anyway, so it wasn't like she didn't have anything to do. Then again, she had to write it...But maybe she'd take her time looking up the information for everything and that would take up all time needed.
"You will?" she asked almost hopefully. Felicity hadn't ever seen Arianna work her magic, so to speak, but with how Drew talked about how good she was, she wouldn't mind giving her wrist up for experimentation. After all, she liked Arianna. Plus, it would give her a chance to say hello, it'd been near to ages since she'd spoken with the girl properly.

"You'll be here when I get back?" he verified, really worried she'd just leave. even if she did, he still had work to do, but he really hoped she'd stick around.
A sprint up to the tower, a quick note to Ari, and a rush back down to the office with a swing past some of Ari's usual haunts. Drew figured he'd be back in about 15 minutes.
"Okay, don't move!" he told the freckle-faced Gryffindor as he made a move to kiss her goodbye before realizing he couldn't and instead veered towards the door. "I'll be back!"

"Uh huh," she answered with a smile. There was no reason for her to take off. And if he was going to go see if he could find Arianna, then there was even less reason to leave. Other than possibly taking off for the nurse to get some kind of pain reliever...but if he managed to find Arianna, then what was the point in going?
"Can I at least go to my desk?" she teased when he told her not to move. But the way he moved made her heart stop, but in a good way. He had started for her, but then completely moved. No, maybe it wasn't in a good way. She wasn't sure, but her heart did stop for a split second, and it sure felt good.

"No!" Drew barked back before breaking out in a wide grin. "Yes... but be careful, okay? I don't want you even more hurt when I get back." If that happened, he'd have to go for the nurse for sure.
And dang, if it didn't feel good to tease her and smile at her again.
Making sure she wasn't going to injure herself anymore, he dashed out towards the staircase.

Jumping a little, it took her a moment before she realized he was only joking with her. Of course, she jarred her arm a little, but not too much. And she didn't mind so much, especially when he was smiling like that.
"I will be old man," she answered, sticking her tongue out at him. "I mean, I only planned on running into every wall, desk and chair in here," she told him with a wide grin. "I'll be careful, I promise."
Getting her book out of her bag, she walked around her desk and took a seat. It wasn't so hard to be careful, but it wasn't as fun as crawling over her desk, which she'd one on more than one occasion. Actually, when she clambored over it after Celina that one day, that'd been lots of fun. Now all she had to do was wait.

Drew crowed at being called an old man, but didn't respond, set on getting up to Ravenclaw and back as soon as possible. He took the steps two at a time, ducked under Old Stoney's swipe, and ran up to his room to grab his own first ait kit. He hadn't found Ari in any of her usual spots, but sometimes her usual spots weren't so usual anymore. He left her a note where she was bound to see it and grabbed one more thing on his way out, thinking if Ari didn't show up, this was the next best thing.
Within twenty minutes, Drew was standing at the door again, slightly out of breath, but glad to see that Felicity was still there.
"I brought my kit," he said triumphantly, raising it above his head like the daring knight showing off his prize to the princess. "And I couldn't find Ari. I left her a note and if she gets it, she'll come... but until then, I brought something almost as good." The last was said as a tease, knowing that his substitute healer wouldn't mind being compared to Arianna so.

Jeremy peeked out from behind his cousin, still not sure he wanted to do this. The first year had watched his mom and dad enough times to know some stuff, but he sure wasn't any healer. To make things more complicated, the girl he saw was the rock-throwing one by the lake. He knew Drew liked this particular girl, but Jeremy didn't know why.
He just hoped if there were any rocks to be thrown, Drew would choose to defend his own flesh and blood over some blonde.

Settling into her chair, Felicity sat back and read while she waited for Drew to return, hopefully with Arianna. It wasn't because she didn't trust Drew to do something, but because he'd praised the girl enough that she believed the Eagle would probably be a good, sure shot at taking a look at her wrist for her. Truthfully, she was curious too and wondered if she planned on going into healing after Hogwarts.
Whatever amount of time lapsed, she was unaware of, but she hardly read more than a good-sized paragraph. Shooting pain didn't sit well with the blonde, and she couldn't bring herself to concentrate on the words popping out of the page at her long enough to ignore it. But when the door opened again, her eyes darted upwards hoping Drew had indeed found the Ravengirl and she'd be willing to take a look for her.
A smile spread over her lips as she listened, but faultered slightly when he said he hadn't been able to find Arianna. Not to worry though, he said he'd left a note and that she'd come if she got it. That was all good and well. But what in the world did he bring that was almost as good as Arianna? Sure he had his kit, but did he really think that could substitute for a little bit of human presence and work?
Light brown eyes widened slightly at the sight of cutie number two. Tilting her head to the side, she wondered for a moment. Did Drew really think his little cousin could substitute for an adult witch? Sure, Arianna was still in school, but she probably had quite a bit more experience over the boy that stood there looking at her awkwardly.
"Almost as good?" she asked with a small smile, looking up at Drew questioningly. "I think with those blue eyes of his I'll be just fine. I mean, after all, they're pretty adorable." Only pretty adorable, not nearly as adorable as Drew's eyes, but close.

Reckless. That's what it was. Pure recklessness. Even Arianna had to admit that heading out into the rain, despite the cold February air, to chase a tricky snitch, was possibly stupid in itself. Add the fact that she had recently taken to flying as though she were indestructible; chasing after the snitch no matter how high or how low, or even how close it was to a solid wall. Arianna swooped and dove and did anything in her power to catch the dang thing and she always did.
Eventually.
Today the girl had been out, yet again, to get her frustrations out and clear her head a bit. It always seemed to work. Though maybe it was more the exileration of nearly killing herself that got her heart pounding enough that none of the things she worried about seemed to matter anymore. At the moment she had nothing on her mind but to mop up her bloody nose and take a good shower. Then she would see about that Potions homework she'd been struggling with.
As she made her way upstairs, soaking wet and freezing, with her broom over one shoulder and bag over her other, Arianna sang to herself a beautiful lullaby her mum used to sing to her when she couldn't sleep. She remembered it more often lately because her mum had even sung it to her while she'd been stuck in Mungo's and had a hard time processing anything that was said to her and could do little more than stare blankly at faces she couldn't remember. Arianna was certain it was the song that had helped her remember and slowly begin her healing. Healing which wasn't quite complete yet and might still be a long way off, though she was getting better.
"Nakunayo, nakunayo mitegoran konohoshizorao kowaimonomo nayamimo," Arianna was on the chorus for the second time as she passed by the newspaper office, hardly aware that anyone might be inside. She couldn't see, anyway, since the hood of that green cloak she wore all the time was covering her face, and she was too involved with her singing to hear anyone, either.

"Best Muggle healer in the school," Drew answered confidently as he tried to yank Jeremy out from behind him. Jeremy was an observer and had seen his dad, Drew's uncle, patch up more Thornton injuries than just about anyone else (and between Drew and his cousin Tad, that was a lot of injuries). Sure Jeremy was a little kid, but for a little kid, he knew a lot.
As he was grinning over Felicity's blue eyse comment (people had said before that's where they saw the biggest resemblance between himself and his cousin) a familiar green cloak passed his periphrial sight.
"Dude! Ari!" he called out, backing up to peek out the door. "We were just looking for you!"

Jeremy was struggling against his cousin, trying to keep Drew between him and any rocks that may have been flying, but Drew was bigger and stronger and soon, Jeremy found himself stumbling to the forefront, Drew's hold on him, keeing him from actually falling.
"I can't to a lot," he warned, looking at Rock-girl suspiciously, but when he heard Drew call out for Ari, his demeanor changed. "Ari! Ari can do it better!" he asured anyone interested.

Muggle healing was as fine as wizarding healing, most of the time as far as Felicity was concerned. Having grown up in mostly muggle ways, she saw a muggle pediatrician her entire life, well until she was too old to go to a pediatrician any longer. After that it was just a muggle adult doctor. However, while she wanted to hesitate on having someone much younger than herself looking at her arm, she wasn't going to protest. If Drew thought his cousin could do the job and do it up nicely, why should she think any differently? Maybe they were no longer dating, but that didn't mean she couldn't trust his judgement.
The smile on Drew's face was nice to look at, and she had to take a moment to stare. He had an adorable smile, she wouldn't deny it. But when he shouted suddenly, it startled her, ending with a good hit up against her desk and a short gulp in pain. Not a good idea.
Trying not to wince, again, she forced a smile and nod at the suddenly excited first year. Apparently Arianna had shown. Hopefully she'd be able to do something for her arm. Anything would be nice...except perhaps an actual break.

"Minamino shimanisumu nakij..." Arianna had made it maybe five feet from the door when she heard someone call to her. Not just to say hi, either. They....were looking for her?
"Me?" she questioned, turning toward the voice. Her hood was pushed back so that the person asking for her could be sure that she really was who they were looking for. Sometimes she would get confused with someone else. Who knew so many people wandered around here not only with green cloaks, but with their hoods up as well?
"Oh, hi....Drew," Arianna grinned, feeling the dried blood crack as she did so. Though there was always that hesitation, it still felt good to actually remember someone's name. Of course, there was always that chance she would forget it the next time she saw them, but those times slowly became less and less.
"What'cha looking for me for?" she questioned, shifting her bag so she could push her wet hair out of her face before teasing, "Need me to get something off the top shelf again?" Of course that was a ridiculous request. Anyone could see that Drew would be the better choice for getting anything from a high shelf.

Standing up, Felicity walked around the desk. Arianna had gotten that message Drew left pretty quickly, must be he'd only been a few minutes ahead of her. But it was really nice she came, and then Felicity wondered if Drew even left the reason he was looking for her. Would she be up to doing a little bit of magic and helping the blonde? The lioness hoped so, going to the nurse wasn't really looking appealing, but she didn't think she had any pain killers with her either. Maybe Celina did...
Holding her arm to her chest, she moved closer to the Ravenclaws at the doorway, trying not to get too close to the first year. She was pretty sure he didn't like her, but she still didn't know why. Of course, she knew he'd thought she was going to throw a rock at him, but surely he didn't still think that, or that she'd be able to in the condition her arm was in either.
Hearing Arianna's response, she let out a soft laugh, thinking the petite seventh year was unlikely to be able to reach the top shelf over the six foot something sixth year. At least she sounded in a good mood, which was a good thing. Maybe she was doing a lot better than Felicity had heard she was.
