((Number 5))
Lily was bored and had wandered into the trophy room. Having never taken a proper look at things, she closely examined the trophies now, rather interested with them. "What's this?" She mummured, coming to an odd silver ball. It didn't look quite like a trophy. She reached out and touched it. "Oww!" She exclaimed. She looked at her finger. The skin was gone and all the parts that she had touched it with was bleeding. "What the heck?" She didn't know what it did, but she didn't want to find out. She backed away slowly, wrapping her finger in her shirt, trying to stop the bleeding.

Since this was Dante's first day here, and after being given all the information he needed to know to get to his house and the password to enter, he decided to investigate a small bit on his way up to the Ravenclaw tower.
He walked pausedly from floor to floor. Taking extra caution where he placed each foot next. He was not oblivious to the fact that there were tricky steps and things alike inside the building.
The place could be cleaner, things arranged more orderly and in a more logical way. Though getting to this conclusion while walking along the halls of the third floor did not surprise him. He had never expected a place where who knows how many people lived to be in an impeccable state as his house. Now if he took care of organizing the elf's job things might improve. He thought this idea quiet entertaining and made a mental note of maybe proposing it to someone of the school administration in the future.
While Dante was still lost in his dreams of bringing major cleanness and organization to the school building he heard a voice come from a room he had just passed by. Stopping in his tracks, he turned on his heels and decided to go back and find out who the owner of the heard voice was.
When he stepped into the room all he could see was the back of a girl who for some reason was stepping away from something. Why she did this he had no clue and the expression of confusion was obvious on his face.
Standing there, still wearing his day to day clothes which consisted in a carefully ironed navy blue shirt and black pants, he remained silent for the first couple of seconds. Breaking his trance of clueless-ness about the situation he finally spoke.
"Afraid of being attacked by those trophies or something?" he questioned. Not even a little bit of mock was to be noticed in his voice, more than anything you could notice true interest.

((Yay! I've missed rp with you! I'm so glad you're back.))
"It's too late to be afraid," Lily said. "They already have. You see that weird silver ball thing? Look what it did to my finger." She removed it, both serving to show him and to see if the bleeding had stopped, which it hadn't. She wrapped her shirt around it again. "And it hurts like heck too. It like removed all the skin. Burned it or ate it away or something I'm not quite sure."

(( ;D ))
A pronounced frown formed on Dante's forehead as stepped closer to the girl. This was just when she showed her finger and he couldn't help but shiver at the thought of what the thing had done to her finger.
"Just when some kind of bandage could come in handy," he commented to himself as his fingers searched his pants pockets.
Dante casted a worried look at the silver ball, or whatever it was, before his attention went back to focus on the girl.
"You should get that healed," he commented worriedly. "Even if it's only for the sake of stopping the bleeding. After that...that... thing should be reported to the headmistress or someone of the school administration."

"I have nothing against Mrs. Johnson and all," Lily said, having gone there with Drew when she had the flu. "But I really don't want to go there. And I don't want to touch that thing again and I don't want anyone else to either. The place where I'm bleeding is every part that was touching the ball. If you tried to pick it up your whole hand would be bleeding. Just when dragonhide gloves would come in handy." She gave him a weak smile.

Dante could only assume that this Mrs. Johnson was the school nurse or something alike. Preferring not to ask about it he stuck to simply assuming. There wasn't really other things the woman could be given the nature of their conversation.
"You know of any method to stop the bleeding then?" he inquired giving one step further into the room and towards the girl. His eyes focused on the part of the shirt the finger was wrapped in. You could already tell, by only looking at the fabric that the finger was bleeding.

"Pressure?" Lily said. "If I hold it like this long enough soon enough the bleeding will stop." She gestured with her head to her overstuffed bag. "I had some studing to do and I have a book on charms in there today. There might be something in there about it, if you want to look."

"Can't hurt to look but," he hesitated for a moment. "Will be a total loss of time if it's a charm book dedicated to something specific."
Even so Dante went over to where the girls bag was laying. Carefully, as to not snoop to much into it, he fished the book out.
It was only now that he realized neither of them knew the others name.
"I'm Dante, by the way," he said looking at the girl with a slight smile before opening the book and starting to look at it's index.

"It's not too specific," Lily said. "I think it might be an index of all charms, or that's what I was trying to find. Careful don't make anything fall out!" She cautioned. There was a lot of stuff in that bag. Like, really a lot. "I'm Lily," she said. "That's an interesting name, Dante."

"My mom picked it," he commented a tad bit absent mindly as he run through the long list of charms that were listed in the index. "I never found out if it was just cause she liked it, knew it's meaning or because of that italian muggle writer."
Half through the list Dante's finger stopped the search. Looking up to face Lily he doubted a bit before voicing his thoughts.
"Are you good at charms? Cause I don't know if I'm good enough to perform a charm I've never done before correctly."

"Somewhat," Lily said. "I'm pretty smart and I've always been pretty strong with a wand. Don't know if I could hold it though, currently, without getting a bunch of blood all over it. Which I pretty much don't want. And I think, I think I need to sit down." The sight and smell of so much blood was overwhelming her and she was feeling a bit faint.

Not thinking it twice Dante left the book, open as it was, on Lily's bag and moved quickly to where she was.
"let me help you," he said offering her an arm as support. "Don't want you to faint in the middle of the process and hit your head against something."

"No, neither would I. Bleeding and a concussion isn't too fun." Lily said. Slowly, she lowered herself to the ground and leaned against the cabinet. "Is there anything at all in there? If you show it to me, I can figure out how it's meant to be done. Like I said, I'm pretty good at wand work."

"I think I saw one that had something to do with bleeding and stop but that's about the time I interrupted the search. Just give me a second," Dante said before going back to pick up the book from where he had left it.
He promptly came back to where Lily was and plopped down on the floor next to her, crossing his legs to give the book a proper support.
Finding what he was looking for in the never ending index he flipped through the pages quickly. He stopped at the number of page he had wanted and read the description on it.
"It's definitely out of my league," Dante stated as a matter of fact before handing the open book to Lily so she could see what he had been reading.

"What do you mean it's definately out of your league?" Lily asked. "You can't be much younger than I am and you can't be that awful. Have a little confidence in yourself please? It doesn't look very difficult." Lily was starting to doubt her ability and the hospital wing was definately not a place she wanted to head.
