Delilah jumped into the pool and swam towards the pair happily.
"Can someone say Marco Polo?"
"Perfect!" Sophia beamed. They'd only been BFFs for a little while, and yet she could already read her mind. Weird...but very cool. Sophia glanced at Connor. "Marco Polo, then?" She was hoping he would say yes because she really couldn't wait any longer. With so many people in the pool, a game would be such fun, and it might help everyone get acquainted.
She quickly swam out to the middle of the pool, to the middle of everything that was going on. "Hey you guys? Could I have your attention real quick?" Sophia wasn't yelling, but her voice projection was superb. She was never one to be shy in front of people, especially people she'd never really met. "Does anyone want to play Marco Polo?" She smiled playfully to everyone, hoping they would join. Now that there were so many people in the pool, the game would be amazing fun. She tilted her head, a little confused, when Felicity jumped out of the pool. Sophia thought that Felicity would've made a fierce 'Marco', but when she saw that she was visiting Celina, she shrugged it off. Perhaps she'd opt to join in the fun, but when she realized that Celina didn't seem to be wearing a bathing suit she wasn't so sure.

Drew wasn't paying much attention to anyone or anything except for the blonde wrapped around him. He gave a low giggle as she kissed him quickly and then swam off. Looking over to where she had gone, he noticed Celina sitting by the wall. He was more than a little surprised to see the Ravengirl, figuring she'd make some excuse not to show, but gave a friendly smile and a small wave in her direction. He figured she had come to hang out with her friends and that was cool with him. It was why he had thrown the party to begin with.
The mention of Marco Polo got Drew's attention and he turned back to the group in the pool. He totally rocked at the game, but it was Hiro who always won. Where was that guy?
"I'm in as soon as I pull the meat off the grill!" Drew called out, swimming to the edge and pulling himself out of the water. Shaking his hair out he jogged over to the barbeque to check on the food.

Jason walked to the edge of the pool and sat down and out his legs in. He took another swig of his butter beer and sat the other next to him. He was listening to everything going on. He was just sitting and enjoying him self. He herd Sophia mention something about marco Polo, then watched drew rush over to check the food. He took another drink of his butter beer and just sat with his feet legs in the pool. watching everyone swim, he had a real suspension though one of his friends was going to be funny and push him in.

So much was happening around him it was hard to take it all in. But what he did notice was the water that made it's way at him thanks to Connor. He tried to jump back a little and avoid getting wet, but was just to slow. He would have said something, but instead just let out a small laugh when it happen. Only his lower legs and sandals were now wet. Not that it really mattered, it just meant that as long as he wore them his shoes would make squishing sounds. The water was, admittedly, a refreshing temperature. Not to cold, nor uncomfortably warm, nice enough he considered jumping in. Though it passed rather quickly thankfully.
He caught still more people greeting him, Delilah gave a wave but was off before he had a chance to respond. He stayed fairly quiet aside from his opening statement. Not saying a thing to Felicity as she passed, Jason as he sat somewhat close to him, or Delilah as she cannonballed into the water. He smiled in watching everyone else having a good time, realizing how many goofy friends he actually had, or at least how many goofy people he knew. Felicity seemed to be off in quickly enough, wondering where she was going but he did not bother to look over, or he would have found Celina. Still unaware she was even in the room.
What he did catch was Marco Polo, but was not really in the mood to play. Instead he figured maybe helping Drew, or even just manning the grill while Drew played would be a better thing for the Ravenclaw to do. “Hey Drew,” he started, “if you want I can take over the grill for a bit, so you can play.” He trailed off, realizing his offer sounded a little odd. He did not want to get in the water just yet. And he was rather hungry, so helping with the grill was a great way to sneak some food. The snack table was another option, though he was more for a hamburger than anything else.
If worse came to worse he would back into his chair. Taking a few steps to the side he took his sandals off and kicked them toward his chair, letting them fall to the side of the chair in whatever manner they happen to landed.

Lach's warning seemed to have sunk in. Matty had immeditaly thrown off her dress and hat and joined Lach in the pool. Not to mention she purposly bombed in right next to him, sending a spray of water straight into his face. "Ha, thanks Matty" Lach laughed, choking on some water. He splashed her back hard, just as she sent a wave of water in his direction. "Truce, Truce" Lach breathed, holding up in his hands in surrender. "You win, you win!"
Lach flicked his fringe out his face, wiping the water from his eyes just as Tianne began to make her entrance into the pool. She went slowly and delicatly. It seemed to Lach that Tianne wasn't feeling quite herself, she had been much more outgoing previously. Even when the two were just introuducing themselves to each other Tianne had been more confident. Maybe Lach was reading too much into it. Tianne was probably just taking her time.
When Tianne finally slipped into the water near Matty, Lach splashed her as well. "See that wasn't so hard" the boy joked. Notcing that he had also got Matty again with the water Lach laughed "Oops sorry Matty" before quickly swimming off to the center of the pool where Sophie was organising a game of marco polo.
"Yeah I'm up for a game, who wants to be in?"

"Hey! The game was my idea!" She shouted at Shophia, before realising that everyone else would hear the statement too. She shrugged and swam over to Sophy, she decided if the game was going to happen, it didn't really matter who announced it to everyone. Delilah wasn't exactly ubber outgoing any how, and decided that maybe it was a good thing that her Gryffindor friend had started things.
Delilah grinned, "I'm in too." She said, as if she hadn't shouted that comment earlier. Delilah looked around at the people who were in, and it was even so far. Two boys, two girls, beautiful. Her brain started thinking maybe a game of chicken could be in order too, unless that would be too awkward to people... She decided not to voice her opinion. Delilah glanced over at the girl Connor was glancing at earlier, who now had Felicity sitting on her lap. She grinned, glad that this girl was starting to be a part of things. Ravenclaws sure could be shy, but they were tons of fun when they wanted to be.
She really hoped that more people would join, because only four people would be dull... Unless Sophia, Lach, and Drew were pros at the game. Delilah knew she was pretty good, but she wasn't always as fast as she wanted to be. Delilah looked around, spotting Jason, "Jason! Why don't you come play some Marco-Polo with us?!" She yelled at the boy, offering a bright smile, half trying to coax him into it, and half trying to be nice.

Simply sitting back, as the Marco Polo game was being planned, Tianne was amazed at how quickly she got used to the water. It had been what seemed like forever since she had been swimming, and usually, it took her a while, or a few laps, to even remember how to swim. It felt weird to be in a pool, as most of the swimming that the girl took place in was in the Lake, where the constant threat of getting eaten was enough to make someone remember how to swim.
" Hey, nobody said it was gonna be hard. " She said, holding her hands up dismissively, and raising her eyebrows in fashion. As shallow as it was, there was one thing that Tianne hated about swimming; when her hair had been wet, it went nothing but extra-curly and frizzy. There was nothing cool about frizzy hair, that was for sure.
" I'm playing for sure! " She said, letting her confidence out, and grinning all the more. She may as well play, there was no harm in doing so, and well, Tianne wanted to be involved in what was going on. " I'll be in, if no one else wants to. " She grinned, with a shrug of her shoulders.

"Yay!" Sophia cheered as four people volunteered to play. She stuck her tongue out at Delilah playfully for taking her 'idea'. Technically it was both of theirs, but it was only because Delilah could read minds at lightning speed that she said it first. Sophia's was dreadfully slow today, too excited to be in a pool at a party than to be actually thinking logically and coherently.
"So it looks like Drew might play if the grill doesn't get him first," she grinned, "Lach, Delilah, myself, and Tianne? Really? C'mon people, where's your game face?" She looked out to see that there were only a couple of people out of the water, most were in the pool. They needed at least one more person before they could start their rousing game of Marco Polo.

Jason smiled and laughed a little. He looked over to Delilah "Yeah, hang on leme finish this" he yelled holding up his butter beer. He took the last swig of his butter beer and then got up. he put the bottle in the trash and then took his shirt off and threw it on a chair. He stretched his arms out a little then walked back to the pool and dove in. He swam around under water until he ran out of breath then popped up beside Delilah. " boo" he said as he popped up. He ran his hands through his hair then looked over to Delilah. "whats up"

Connor remained focused on the conversation long enough to hear that a game of Marco Polo was about to begin and excuse himself from it. " I'll go next round, " He added to Sophia, giving the girl a light poke in the arm to get her attention so she didn't think he was ignoring her completely. " I'm gonna go get a drink. " He said, smiling slightly as he lifted himself out of the pool and took a few soggy steps over towards one of the coolers, grabbed a few drinks, and then made his way towards Celina and Felicity, who were sitting off to the side.
He looked down self consciously at himself as he walked over, not so much nervous about Felicity, because he didn't really think the Gryffindor girl cared so much about how he looked or acted as long as he wasn't being stupid, but a little nervous about seeing Celina. He hadn't talked to the girl since... they had last talked. He forced himself to keep walking though, putting a smile on his face as he held up a couple of the water bottles and said, " Thirsty? I know water is hard to come by... in a pool and all. " He grinned somewhat sheepishly as he glanced at the two girls.

"I could always use the help," Drew answered Dante with a grin. The older Ravenclaw wasn't sure if Dante would be up for swimming and all with his nose, but Drew was still glad the guy came. There was other stuff to do at a swim party besides go in the water. They just had to figure out what it was.
"If you want to take over the burgers, I can deal with the vegetables," he answered, noticing that people were talking off to the side and the game was starting in the pool. He figured it shouldn't be too hard to join in a little late if he wanted to. The important thing was everyone seemed to be having a good time and the food was almost ready.

Hearing the sharp intake of breath Felicity felt it necessary to hang on tighter, knowing she had only just surprised her friend and nothing more. While she weighed more than the girl, she knew she wasn't hurting Celina. The warm greeting was highly appreciated and Felicity couldn't help but return the giggle and smile giddily. Of course, she knew she was soaking Celina through, with as wet as her own shorts and tank top were from jumping into the pool fully dressed, but she figured her friend would tell her if she minded, and even if she did Celina was brilliant with magic in the blonde's mind and could easily dry herself off.
The faux disgruntled sound from her bestie only made the lioness laugh harder against her friend as she leaned against her even more and laid her head in the crook of Celina's neck. The game sounded like fun, but honestly Felicity wasn't a water bug and actually preferred having her feet on dry land compared to in the water, though she sometimes didn't mind fooling around in it.
However upon the arrival of the Slytherin boy she was glad to call a friend, and the offered bottled water, Felicity sat up quickly and happily and graciously took the offered beverage. Jumping up from her seat, Felicity through her arms around Conner quickly in greeting before reclaiming Celina's lap, figuring Connor wouldn't want it anyway. And though her brown eyes tried to focus on the boy, they traveled over to the older Ravenclaw boy with shy smile, unable to not smile looking at him.

Delilah watched as Connor left, and was replaced with Jason in the pool. Delilah was eyeing Jason as he slipped off his shirt and dove into the pool. She let her mind wander quite a bit, before hearing a whisperish 'boo' behind her. She jumped a little, and splashed him in return, ruining his hair which he had just pushed out of the way, now it was all back in his face. She laughed lightly, "Oh not much, you look like a fish out of water if I do say so myself." She said, triumphantly. Delilah turned to the small group of people willing to play Marco-Polo. "Well, whenever we get this game started..." she said, looking around, making sure they would hear her, "I'm not Marco!"

Felicity hugged her tighter and Celina couldn't help but giggle more with her friend. Felicity's head hung on her shoulder and as it did so, Celina couldn't help but noticed the Slytherin Prefect retreat from the pool and climb out, grabbing a few drinks and heading their way. Her stomach jingled and fluttered and Celina instinctively hid her face in Felicity's shoulder that her head too sat on. What if he told everyone? Well, Felicity didn't know... that was probably the best thing, for if she knew, then she'd be acting weird too. But then, why was everyone so focused on her with their eyes? Looking back up, Celina took a glance around and realized that all eyes were averted back to whatever everyone was doing in the pool. Sighing thankfully, Celina couldn't help but grimace a little when a small shot of pressure in her leg stabbed as Felicity moved to get off of her.
Thirsty? I know water is hard to come by... in a pool and all.
Connor spoke, and just as he did, Felicity was around the boy's neck just as quickly as Celina had time to think about how many guys she could get away with doing that. Since Celina's mind was already thinking about the Deva, what she'd told Connor on her birthday, and the invasion just in general, this scene spurred another thought that made Celina question everything. How was it that Felicity could be all on people, and yet Celina had to seek the comfort of her brother if she wanted to hug anyone? The thought was quickly extinguished when the lioness hopped back on her lap top and wrapped her arms around her once more. "Ugh..." Celina let out a small grunt and a giggle, shaking the thoughts away. It wasn't fair to think such things of her friend... plus, it's not like her and Connor were friends like Drew and Felicity was... maybe the label made a difference?
Felicity seemed distracted enough on her lap and Celina shrugged. "Sure... I mean, I'm already getting wet, I might as well 'wet-my-whistle' too." That was corny, but Celina couldn't help herself as she let out another relieved giggle. She smiled up at Connor, but it was more out of wonder than anything else. Had he told anyone? Would anyone have believed him if he did so? Would he do that to her?
"So... how are you?" she asked Connor, though she knew Felicity would hear it as well.

Jason put his arms up to block the splash, and splashed back and laughed a little. He looked around the pool at every one it. "I'm in no hurry whats the rush" he asked when Delilah he said splashing her a little again. Jason smiled as he looked at Delilah. His mind wondered a bit but then snapped back to reality when she yelled. "What you don't wanna be Marco, well your no fun" he teased. he turned his back to see if he still had that butter beer sitting near the edge of the pool. "damn someone moved in" he muttered to himself turning back to Delilah.
