Connor grinned slightly as he saw Felicity catapult herself onto him, giving him a hug in the process. " Hey, Felicity. " He said into the girl's hair as he hugged her back and handed off one of the drinks to her. He laughed as she sat herself back down onto her previous seat, which just so happened to be Celina's lap. Connor pulled up one of the chairs and sat himself down next to the two girls, handing the other water bottle to Celina as he did so. " Might as well. Cheers. " He said with a smile as he uncapped his own drink and took a swig from it. Despite the fact that he had just been swimming, the ice cold water was pretty rejuvenating to the sixth year.
' So... how are you? ' He shrugged his shoulders, turning the cap back onto his bottle of water. " I'm alright. Excited to get out of here and head home for summer break. Then when we come back... seventh year. " He didn't know if he was scared or excited about the prospect of returning to the school to complete his seventh year.

Oh too bad Jason didn't noticed, sometimes boys were just too caught up in looking. She splashed at him furiously when he said she wasn't any fun, "Whatever Jason, you're the one that doesn't know the definition." She said, and as the water cascaded over to him, she snatched his butter beer, put the seal on it, turn it on it's side, and gently rolled it away. Who it was heading towards, she wasn't sure, but when Jason turned back to look for it, she held back her laughter, and tried to put on the most innocent face she could muster. Delilah was feeling a bit self conscious now, and looked around, catching her best friend's eye, and shrugged at the look she was giving her. The small girl turned away quickly, suddenly embarassed.

He did not watch what everyone else was doing, he could hear their remarks about the game that he did not want to be a part of. Despite that though he did want to be at the party. A chance to get to know more people, or know people a bit better, even though he did not seem to be very social so far. He finally caught Celina out of the corner of his eye, but shrugged at the fact that she was there. She'd probably stay away, just as she always did, and he was content with that.
"If you want to take over the burgers, I can deal with the vegetables.” “Sounds like a plan,” he said with a smile. He was glad to get some cooking in, it had been a while since he had cooked on a grill like this. But it was something like a bicycle, once you are good at it, it's just something you don't forget. So he made his way over to the food that was already on the grill, and looked around to find something to flip burgers with. Finding some tongs hanging at the side of the grill Dante picked them up and flipped over one of the burgers.
Sure enough it was just about done on that side, so he began flipping over the rest of them. Just about done. So he started to look around for some buns, and after finding them he put a few on the small free space in the corner of the grill. If people wanted a toasted bun for their burger, there would be a few to be had. Ground beef was not the only thing on the grill, as it was full to the brim with food. And Dante could only smile and inhale the aroma of smoke and cooking, his stomach grumbled as he waited for the final signal to take everything off and let it simmer poolside.

It felt funny having another person speak into her hair that wasn't Drew or Celina, but she didn't think anything of it, after all, she had thrown herself at Connor and her hair seemed to be everywhere lately. Having the water in her hand, she opened it and drank thirstily, snuggling back against Celina just as she heard the girl ask how someone was, but before she could open her mouth to respond (being full of water and not wanting to dribble everywhere), Connor was answering in his new seat right next to both of them.
"Our last year," Felicity tossed in softly, her eyes finally tearing away from her boyfriend to look at her two friends. One more year and they'd be going through what all the seventh years now were going through. "It's going to be sad, coming here next year and knowing we won't be coming back the next, won't it?" While Felicity had only been there the past two years, she loved Hogwarts, even after everything that had taken place in its walls, it was like home in a way.

Celina didn't know what to think of their last year, and as it was brought up, she just shrugged. She could definitely wait for the end... after all, what kind of beginning had she really had? Her best friend was sitting on her lap, her other friend next to her in a chair, but at the same time... what was left for them all after Hogwarts? Celina hadn't really thought about what she wanted to do after Hogwarts... she had had an idea. Become a healer, just like her mother... that had been the plan.
"Yea... anything is possible," Celina said halfheartedly, darting her eyes from Connor and then to Felicity. Celina leaned her head against her friends shoulder and sighed. "I just don't want to think about it right now..."

As Dante took charge of the meat, Drew focused on the vegetables, turning them over as they finished cooking and placing them on a handy platter as they were done. He debated on putting a couple of onion rings aside to put on his burger but decided against it for the time being.
Glancing over his shoulder at where Felicity was, he saw her looking over at him and gave her a wide grin and a wink back, glad to just have her there. Turning back to the grill, he grooved a little where he stood, dancing to music only he could hear.
