can we possibly NOT go straight into February right now? That's two weeks after all this went down and yes, I know we can post date threads, but that really makes things hard when its that big of a chunk. Some of us might have some things to work out about the whole ordeal that might affect what happens in February, right?

Devin seems to be a favorite topic of the prophet. He's totally down with giving the cold shoulder as well... maybe chased a little bit. Sort of like he's chased for a response, and just ends up getting mad. They could spin that too... not that it will change much of his public image... but either way.

Not to be a bugger but I just realized this was here! As for my over all impressions of the plot and everything, I thought it was brilliant, but a little bit sensational. It's not criticism and I'm not referring to anything you guys have already said, just stating my opinion of the whole attack. I think it was totally unexpected (unless other people knew about it and I missed something). Good work!

Ah, okay. I think I see where you're headed with this now, Drew. I was kinda going in a different direction, but I think you've thought this out a bit longer-term than I have, so I'll largely defer to you. As far as the plan goes, Gail is pretty pants on a broom, but I think she would be willing to step aside, let the others lead, and shuttle the younger students, keeping some order among the escapees. Whether or not she is there when the switch is discovered, she would show up eventually, if only to shuttle more students. Once she knows they're discovered, she would stay behind and join the other four to distract the Faceless and try to get Hannah, Lianna, and any other younger students (who she now views as her responsibility) out of the Courtyard. Maybe not in that order, but you get the idea. As to what happens after that, I'd probably go with where I've started to plot on that already, with a few alterations as needed. Thanks for the heads-up, Drew. Edit: And Shay, since I accidentally forgot to discuss your request, Gail will probably be pretty close-mouthed about the whole thing. I'm as willing as Drew to have my "No comment" spun from here to kingdom come. Since you mentioned it, though, my brain is already working, and an editorial may be forthcoming as articles get written.

Maybe not, but you've got a better idea than mine. I'm willing to admit it. Besides, the most genius ideas are the ones that aren't recognized by their inventor. If you want input, you should know I'm pretty much willing to deal with whatever. If an unforeseen problem comes up, I would be willing, and maybe more able than the other four, to go deal with it. And I'm still concerned about the guy at the other end of the hallway, because he's standing right in front of the door, and you have to go right past him. Surely he'd notice a whole bunch of students going down the hallway and not coming back. Any thoughts on how to work around this?

that's what the play diversion would be for. Kids have been going down that Hallway all week (I'm assumng that's where the restrooms would be seeing as it's the most likely place for them). If he's distracted enough, he might notice people going past, but probably won't be paying too much attention to it all, especially since he's unaware of his missing comrades at the other end of the hallway. And yes, it'll probably be that guy... or a shift change... that gets us discovered. Of course our best chance would be to Imperio that guy. It would definitely buy us a lot more time... but I don't think we should do that.

I don't really care what happens, as long as Ari and Sienna get their show down. Because that was the only thing I really planned on doing through this whole blasted thing.

The Culturation of Hjort & Jedynak APPROVED PLOT BY HR ADMIN AS OF END OF SEPTEMBER
Dates: January 15(after Raynor thread), 16(12:10am), 17 @ Dinner Main Characters involved: Hjort, Felicity Jedynak, Alfonz Jedynak, Celina Shaw, Robert (More as plot is completed) **NOTE** THIS PLOT IS BEING RP-ED OUT PRIOR TO THE CALLING OFF OF THE PLOT AND STILL CONTINUES TO BE PLAYED OUT AS YOU ARE READING THIS. Basic Overview of Plot (Bathroom Thread = The Embers That Still Burn) Felicity is ready to escape from Hogwarts! After speaking with Celina, Felicity is able to gain her best friends support and help. What she isn't aware of is that Celina's brother is at Hogwarts (even though Brady called him out, Felicity hadn't acknowledged the calling out, preoccupied with Drew ) and Celina plans to tell Alfonz what is happening in order to obtain help from him to escape. (Hall Thread = I'll Wait For You To Forgive Me) Celina meets with Alfonz and tells him what is going on, and how she is planning on escaping with Felicity. After not taking the news so well, Alfonz and Celina are in an embrace as Shaw walks up on them and finds them. Celina leaves, and Shaw is informed of why Celina went to Alfonz. Alfonz hopes that Shaw will see why he feels Hjort should be held accountable for her idea.... (Dinner Thread = **TBA**) Everyone involved is held accountable for the actions they have committed (Celina, Felicity, Alfonz). Characters in this thread so far (willing participants playing a role): Sienna London Robert Shaw Celina Jedynak Alfonz Jedynak Felicity Hjort ----------------- This is very vague but that is the intent of this post. If you'd like to join in at any time, please do when it is appropriate (in the dinner thread). What goes down is supposed to go down in front of the entire Great Hall and it will be something to see and be apart of indeed. Remember, the major part of the plot will take place at dinner time on the 17th of January (RP time obviously).

Drew if you wanted Krissy could imperius the guy.. I'm sure she wouldn't care breaking rules. OR we could try something completely different and I could but a full body bind on him and lean him against the wall. I mean, unless another deva member deliberately comes over to talk to that person they might just think they are leaning against the wall and not think twice about him. Therefore there wouldn't be any problem. Or I could draw him away by causing a nice distraction. I mean if you sent down some fireworks I might be able to cause a scene. That or attack the suits of armour in the entrance hall, OR stage a food fight in the great hall. Then no-one will pay to much attention to children heading down the hall and not coming back because they would think their just trying to escape the splatter of food

my concern about a trouble sort of distraction is that they may respond forcefully or at very least, lock everyone into the great hall in order to contain the situation. we've been held hostage for a few days now and if we get restless, that will prove to be more trouble for them (obviously ) They might overlook one kid throwing potatoes at them, but anything bigger and they'll want to contain it quickly. If you have no problem Imperio-ing the dude, then that's cool with me. ;D Drew could probably do it, but he still hasn't fully realized he'll have to actually kill people when he's an Auror. An Imperius would be better than a body-bind, I think. He's fairly visible to the rest of the hall and the others might notice him slumping over and you propping him back up. If we time it correctly and you Imperio the guy first, that will make our job from the courtyard easier. I'm not sure how long it is between shift changes, but I'm figuring we have a few hours at least to get this done. I'm wondering if Allegra and Chad could get a distraction going (not in a coupley way, so don't go there). They're still young enough to enjoy the stupider things in life so it wouldn't look odd if they were goofing off, so maybe an invisible baseball game or something? (ever done that? it's so fun ) I also really liked the idea of potato races down the stairs just because I can see them still strewn about the front hall from Krissy's little bombardment against Apollo

Heh... yeah Krissy wouldn't care about imperiusing them. Sure she knows its against the rules and all, but the only deva member she actually trusts at all is Shaw and so wouldn't give a damn really what she did to any of the others. Krissy could time it so that she does it right before or after the shift change easy enough. Krissy wouldn't mind doing it because it is to help save some of the little kids, so.. yeah. As for the potato races - Krissy still has quite a few potatos in her pockets. (shes been collecting them since the first night) so she can probably convince a couple of her huffle counterparts like seanna or someone to do it for her
