Solis blinked a few times, taken aback. "That's not what I meant..." she hated being misunderstood. "I meant it's okay to cry... it's okay to feel sad and appear weak some of the time. You don't always have to hide it. Of course it's not okay with him gone. Everything is wrong about it. Those people...more like monsters," she muttered. Yes, she sincerely felt that anyone who would take someone else's life in such a manner was not fit to be called a person. "Those monsters are cowards; your father was a brave man. I can see that bravery in you as well," she said, looking directly into his eyes.
She let go of him, and looked down at the floor. "I'm sorry that you misunderstood, that was not my intention,"

"I don't care I'm gonna find who did this and kill them, they killed my father and I am gonna kill them." Art told her his anger spilling out in his voice. He was sad, angry and stressed wrapped up in one little package, this emotion could cause serious problems if left unchecked, he was like a timebomb with a messed up clock.

Ellie stared hard at Artemis, " Artemis...," he wasn't thinking straight at the moment. She was tempted to say to him, That's not the way to solve your problems..., although she didn't want to offset another tantrum. He wasn't thinking straight, she was sure of it.
She took his hand in hers, and squeezed it. Don't over stress yourself..., she thought, now what?
" Although yesterday's scars remain, you can go on living as much as your heart believes..." she said softly to him.
((sorry it took so long, I couldn't think of how to reply x.x))

(no worries I would have had the same problem)
" I don't give a damn about yesterday's scars!" Artemis exclaimed at her as he took to his feet and he took a few steps around the room, outside if it weren't for the lasting effects of his weeping, He would look calm but all it would take is just one nanosecond in his mind to know that he was fuming. Art's mind and heart were in another conflict.
"I don't want to hurt her, she understands what is happening to me," His heart would argue
" She is nosing into our business, she shouldn't know becasue then she will stop you." His brain reminded him.
" That doesn't matter she listens like dad di..." his heart was stating more profoundly now.
"now strike her so she shall learn, STRIKE!" His brain interupted.
Finally artemis gave into his brain with one diffrence, the change of target, instead of hitting th woman who had been so kind to he he started hitting the wall after only a couple of times his fists were leaving blood stains on the dark stone.

"Artemis, no!" Ellie cried out to him, she leaped up and tried to pull him away from the wall. "Why are you doing this to yourself?!" she cried. "You're only weakening yourself..." She looked at his small hands and her heart tore. "Don't do this to yourself..."
Is this what your father would have wanted?
"You want to be strong, right? How does this make you strong?" she asked him, panicking at the blood. She wasn't the best at healing wounds, and instead tried to block the blood with her own robes. "Artemis, for the sake of the people who care about you, don't hurt yourself," she pleaded, with tears in her eyes.

Artemis was fuming, he ripped himself away from the woman and placed his bloody hands over his face. A small bit of what she told him echoed in his head, Care about you... Art kept trying to block this becasue this was a time for action not a time to sit and talk because talking got nothing done. the thought still was echoing so he yelled to her, " You shouldn't care about me, I don't matter to anyone and i shouldn't matter to you."

Ellie stood up and glared at Artemis. "You know, this is really the first stupid thing I've heard you say all day," she said coldly. "Do you really think that you don't matter to anyone?" What about Reina, Drew, Chase, Ash, so many people care about him...and he fails to see it.
She pulled him up and brushed him off. "Mr. Tayern...you must stay strong," Solis said to him softly. "Now is not the time to question those who care about you... it is not the time to question your worth."
She wiped his face with the sleeve of his robes and gave him a sad smile. "You musn't blame yourself,"

Art's emotions started to settle as he let it go, everything, he hadn't eaten all day and finally without his fire of rage, anger and greif he fell to the ground. he lost what had been fueling him all day. Art broke finally the weight of the work at this school failed to beat him but the addition of his father's untiely death was just the straw that broke the camel's back. " I-I j-j-just m-m-miss him a-al-al-already t-the l-last t-thing I t-t-told h-h-im was 'i c-can d-do it M-my-myself'..." He managed to get out he wasn't crying again, yet but he was close...

He's still with you, even though you can no longer see him... Ellie believed that when a dying only meant that your body was no longer functioning. The soul was something that could not be destroyed or seen. Although Artemis could no longer see his father, it didn't mean that his father was no longer there. She saw the him cry and it felt painful. No one deserves this, you're too young to know the evils of this world. It was hard enough being a kid and trying to situate yourself at a place like Hogwarts, let alone having to deal with the death of your father.
"What couldn't you do by yourself?" she asked softly, kneeling with him and holding his small hands.

" I t-told him i c-could g-go th-through the B-barrier My-myself." Artemis managed to tell the woman whom actually seemed to care about him. She's trying to trick you int trusting her like all those muggle teachers tried to... don't fall for it, once you told them about Jimmy Knan and you got suspended, DON'T trust her! His mind was shouting, his heart was comforted and was trying to keep things as they were, and still his body trembled in it's weakness, art didn't have any stores of energy and his stomach felt like it was eating it's self.

Barrier? Ellie decided to put that thought on hold. "Artemis... you're very weak...are you sure you don't want to eat anything?" She gave him a look of concern. "You need to stay healthy..."
Still kneeling next to the boy, she looked around to see if she had any sort of food. Er... I do have a little bit of chocolate and milk... a bit of bread and...oh! there's that batch of cookies I stole from the kitchen. Ellie turned to look at Artemis again.

" I-I'm j-just hun-hungry..." Artemist told the woman. Oh with what passion his street-smart mind wanted to lash out at her comment about him being weak, he wasn't weak he was stronger than most in this school, or so he thought. She is NICE and I WON'T let you hurt her! Art's heart told his mind Art's body was to weak anyway to do anything unless something managed to blow life into the smoldering ashes of his emotions. "B-blood..." Artemis said and slowly pulled his bloody hand out of her's to stop her from getting covered.

Ellie pulled out her wand. "I'm not as good as Nurse Johnson, but this should do the trick," she closed her eyes and incanted a spell that almost sounded like a song. Artemis' wound closed, but it would probably leave a scar if he didn't go to the Hospital Wing within the next week. "Er... let's get ourselves cleaned up...and I'll make you something. What would you like to eat?" she asked as she conjured up a silver washing bin.
"Aguamenti," she filled the tub with clear water and pointed to it. "Here," Ellie said softly. "You should wash up..."

Artemis slowly sat up and he placed his hands in the cool water and winced slightly but the cool water felt good, he cupped both of his small hands and when they were full of water he lifted them up and placed his Face in the cool water to rinse the crimson off of his face. He then used his robe to dry his face like a little kid would wipe his hands on his pants; he then finished rinsing the blood off his hands leaving only the scabs on his kunckles. "d-doesn't m-ma-ter tto me-e" Artemis answered to the woman. His head was going in circles and doing it at blinding speed.
