Professor Solis was sitting in her office deep in thought with her finger tips together. Her eyes were closed and her head bowed low; she was rather stressed out today. The ceiling of her office was enchanted to look like it was a beautiful starry night, all the time. Currently, there were meteor showers and a crescent moon.
On her table was a pile of scattered parchment and letters, a half-empty ink bottle, and a couple of groundskeeping books. There was also a still picture of the Solis family taken in Mexico.
Ellie was expecting someone.

Artemis reached the office his face still showing signs of his weeping. He looked like a mess, his eyes bloodshot and his body trembling. but he managed to make three knocks on the door, If he had his choice he wouldn't be here but he had to show or face the penaties, he didn't want to do that he was dealing with the loss of his father. the news article which had arrived over breakfast was still in his pocket and was covered in even more tears, his.

Ellie looked up, and opened her eyes. "Come in," she said softly, and she let the large mahogany doors open for Artemis. She continued to frown at the boy, who was still crying. She got up and greeted him.
"Hello, Mr. Tayern," she said, leading him to a newly conjured green love-seat. "Please... sit," she pointed to the chair. She looked at the boy at the corners of her eyes and felt sympathetic towards him. She grabbed a mug and offered it to him silently; it was hot chocolate.
"Drink, it'll make you feel better," she said as she sat down in her seat across from Artemis. She didn't know if she should begin, or if he should. Best just wait to see if the boy wants to say anything first.

Artemis followed her in silence and sat, he even took the cup from her. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the article which he quickly replaced in his pocket leaving it where she couldn't see it. I have nothing to say to her and I don't want the hot chocolate. Artemis hated this, he had a strong dislike for this type of thing he didn't want to TALK things over he wanted justice he wanted fairness and talking never got anything done.

This kid has the complex of an adult... Ellie thought to herself as she observed the eccentric boy. She looked up at the ceiling and admired it. She pointed at one of the constellations that was up tonight.
"Ah, my favorite...Cepheus," she took a chance to admire it. "Not the brightest of stars, but it stands out for being alone. It's amazing how stars can determine the fate of tommorow." she said serenely. "Such beautiful things can spell out the worst of times; fascinating." She sighed and sunk down into her seat.
"Mr. Tayern, what made you act the way you did today?" she asked softly.

" Absolutely nothiung that should concern you!" Artemis muttered angrily. as he set the untouched mug on a table and leaned back slightly, something told him this was gonna be a long bumy ride so he strapped down what was bothering him hoping this road wouldn't jar it loose for the professor to see. I WILL AVENGE you dad I WILL do it!

"You can throw the mug at the wall if you want," she said to him simply. She continued to look at him, trying to read his eyes. This kid won't budge, she thought to herself.
"However, you cannot be angry for the rest of your life. What do you intend to do with this anger you are harboring?" she asked. "All this energy, locked up inside you." she cleared her throat and sat up again. "You are eleven years old. Do not try to grow up too soon," she said finally. "Don't hold all that energy inside you."

" You can't tell me what to do with myself." Artemis said point blank, "but if it'll shut you up and get you to leave me alone I'm gonna take care of my problem once I can do enough magic." Artemis told her pulling the clipping from the newspaper from his pocket and looking it over again, he had been doing this all day. Artemis felt like a caged animal and he wanted out he wanted his revenge no matter the cost.

Solis was starting to really worry about Artemis, she glanced at the paper he had in his hands. What happened? she thought to herself.
"Your problem?" she inquired. Normally, a person that treated her with such disrespect would have been flown half way across the room, but Artemis was a child. Do you pity yourself? she wondered silently.

"If I tell you will you keep it secret?" Artemis asked her his head still looking at the Article clipping hoping this was what he really wanted to do, he didn't want this to become public knowlege not untill he decided to make it such. Art was still crying but he managed to talk steadily, it was amazing how easy it was to talk to her it was like she was his friend and almost like his father with how she actually LISTENED.

"Promise," she said immediately. "I'll cut my arm and write it in blood, if you wish," she said. It was the sort of thing they used to do at her old school. Ellie nodded and waited for him to say something. She wondered what had made this peculiar boy become this way. He is immensely strong.

Artemis frowned slightly, and placed the newspaper clipping on the table between them facing so she could read it. His heart was screaming for him to take it before she could read it but his mind was yelling that he needed to releive his mind of this burden. it was a heavy one to carry by ones self but he had for the day. "Here"

She took the crumpled newspaper article and read it several times. Frank Meyers Tayern...died...fire shooting...three times...torso...head...pre-deceases his wife and eleven year old son. She didn't gasp, but she frowned some more, putting the newspaper article down and rubbed her forehead. This child...
Solis looked at Artemis and she opened her mouth, as if to say something. However, she couldn't. His childhood has been robbed from him. He has been forced to grow up too soon. She took a deep breath, and stood up. She placed her hands on her desk, and she realized that there weren't really any words for this.
She walked over to him, kneeled down and hugged him tightly. It didn't really matter what she had to say. She held his head with her right hand and prayed silently.

Artemis's entire being was being torn, his body didn't mind being hugged it even liked it. Art's mind was tryng to get him to push him off of her but Art's heart was just torn by greif and didn't want to do anything. His mother would be fine, his mind told him She has life insurance on Dad and a pretty big Muggle bank account, not to even think of mentioning her wizard's account. Art squirmed but found the embrace to be pleasant almost comforting so he just sat there the woman holding him. Art finally felt safe so he decided to release everything, all day he had tried to hold back but he had only managed to keep most of it at bay, finally he just broke down, his eyes finally streamed tears, he started sniffling. His body was starting to suffer, he hadn't eaten anything al day becasue he wasn't hungry, his body started to tremble, " I- I c-c-c-an't Be-be-leive it w-w-as h-him."

I can't either. Solis thought, letting the boy cry on her. "It's okay..." she said softly. Be strong. She didn't know what she could say to this boy. If her parent had died...she would probably lock herself in her office for ages and consume herself with alcohol...Nah, the kid is underage. All she could do was just console him, and even that-- she wasn't sure how she could do that.
