Ellie nodded and rummaged through her trinkets, looking for something. "Ah ha!" she exclaimed and held out another small silver trinket she got from Japan. It was shaped like the moon. "Makes macaroni and cheese in a jiff," she said proudly. "I always love these things that Japanese wizards make; always comes in handy,"
The device would make the best macaroni and cheese you've ever tasted. Hopefully, he like mac and cheese... she thought to herself as she conjured up a goblet of pumpkin juice. She handed the newly finished bowl of "pasta" and goblet on the table.
"Perhaps you'd also like some cookies-- you must be starving... do you like chocolate chip?"

Artemis slowly and cautiosly made his way to his feet. his eyes looked like he had carried a train uphill for a thousand miles and he had a million to go. He managed to make his way carefully and slowly to the table which he sat down at and started to eat like he hadn't eaten in a month, he couldn't eat fast enough. When she asked about the cookies he didn't say anything just nodded yes and went back to eating when he was almost done he remembered his manners and muttered " Thanks" to the woman whom still had't introduced herself to him.

"Oh, I nearly forgot," Ellie gasped as she picked up a tray of cookies and walked over to Artemis. "My name is Professor Solis, I'm your new Astronomy teacher... and the new Caretaker and Groundskeeper. Though, I'm not very good at the last two, yet." She smiled at him and took a cookie from the tray.
She poured more pumpkin juice into his goblet and nodded. "Eat as much as you want," She took an apple from her desk and started peeling it for him. Barrier...what does he mean by that?
Ellie decided she would ask him about it later, he needed to eat and regain his strength.

Artemis usually ate minimally to keep his body light and quick, if he got slow he would lose the small physical advantage he had in a fight. he finished the mac and cheese and took a single cookie his stomach was full to bulging wich was suprising becasue most firsties could eat triple this ammount and wouldn't be able to that fast. " He's gone and I just can't beleive it... over the span of one night, he's gone..." Artemis said still upset but he managed to keep it under control; it was amazing how just a little food could help him control himself.

"It's not fair," she muttered to mostly herself. "It isn't right at all..." Ellie stared at her mug, filled with hot chocolate. "But you're wrong in some ways," she said softly and carefully.
"Your father, he may not be physically with you, but... his memory, his strength, his will, it still holds on to you." she rubbed the rub with her thumb, still staring at it. "Your father sounds like a remarkable person. He died courageously, he died "with his boots on". Such a wonderful person does not simply just leave without a trace in this world. No... your father's legacy still lives on,"
She nodded, closed her eyes and thought about what she had said. "Losing my own father, I have come to believe this. I have come to know that my father is always with me. Always watching over me," she laughed sadly at herself. "Y'know, it sounds stupid...but sometimes I can feel his presence... when I feel happy, I think about his smile."
Ellie hadn't shared this with anyone, and felt that Artemis might understand...or at least come to understand it one day.

Artemis bit into the cookie swallowed and washed the bite of cookie down with a gulp of juice. See? She's full of rubbish! Your father didn't go on a trip to the USA he is dead, I don't think she gets it! " You aren't getting it are you?!?" Artemis screamed the embers of his anger fire were re-kindling. He again tood and walked to the door.

Ellie sighed, rubbing her forehead. "You are free to leave, Mr. Tayern," she said simply. "But know that I'm always here for you," she closed her eyes and put her fingers together again. Artemis was a difficult kid; he was unpredictable and explosive-- a dangerous trait that she secretly feared. Yet, underneath all of that she knew that there was a scared and confused person.
"Artemis, I don't want to you to get the wrong impression. I don't want you to leave... but you are mature enough to make your own decision." she said, giving him the choice.

" Thank-you for dinner and good bye!" Artemsi told her baremyl managing to keep his anger form tramipling over his manners and better judgement. He had no qualm with this woman though at times she seemed to have a thick skull. Artemis opened the door and as he stepped through to the hall he let the door slam behind him.
