Drew had been pretty well focused, ready to tuck into a fairly decent landing, until Lily cried out. In her panic, he panicked, thinking for a split second she had seen something he had overlooked... some danger that would shatter him into a billion pieces.
He hit the ground with a loud thud and an "OOF", lying still on his back and stareing up at the blue sky as he wondered if he was still alive.

"Drew!" Lily cried out rushing forward. "Are you alright? Are you dead? Can you hear me?" She was so worried. In haste, she wiped her pinkie on her robes, the blood smearing. He had to be alive right? It wasn't far enough to kill him was it? "Drew," she said one last time, reaching him after what seemed like forever.

"I heard an 'oof'," Arianna called out as she hurried over to help. Worried as she was about the boy, Arianna didn't care how rediculous she sounded. "He...he's gotta be alive if he made noise."
Kneeling next to Drew's body, Arianna looked over him with concern.
"You're okay, right?" she asked, already checking for any broken limbs. "I don't want your skateboard. Don't make me take it."

At the very last moment, Charlie looked at Drew flying downwards. "Bad idea, bad idea..." she muttered the thump resonated from the ground to her ears to her head. At least this wasn't her worst case scenaro, where it involved a beastly creature taking Drew away, but still... this was bad.
But knowing how gravity's tricks worked, she wasn't as panicked as the other girls. Starting from a reluctant walk to a sprint, she looked over Drew. "Drew... Drew, look here," She snapped her fingers, "Can you hear me? Drew?!?"

{I think it's been an hour... }
"MR. THORNTON!" Becca called out from across the fields, having seen the boy catapult himself off of her roof and land among the rocks below. She had finished her papers and was making her way down to feed the creatures when she found the little group in front of her door. She gathered the skirts of her robes and ran to the students, oscellating between fury and concern over what the boy had done. When she looked down at him, she saw his eyes were open and the ground below him was clear of any blood... definitely a good sign... for now.
"What in Merlin's name do you think you were doing?" she scolded. "Get up! Get up now!"

Drew blinked rapidly as a new face appeared over him. "I... I don't know..." he answered the professor slowly as he pushed himself up into a sitting position. He groaned slightly as the aches in his body awakened, but it was pretty clear to him that he had survived the jump without any broken bones.

While she was relieved the boy could obviously move on his own power, it just made more room for the anger she was feeling. How anyone so bright could be so stupid, she didn't know.
"You dont' know? You don't know! Mr. Thornton, do you realize you could have broken your neck up there? And you!" she fired off, turning on the girls. "You're just watching? All of you! To Professor Raynor NOW!"

"The girls didnt' do anything..." Drew mumbled, slowly making his way to his feet. "They were trying to stop me, but I didn't listen." One look at Lily and it would be clear he was telling the truth. He just hoped Davenport didnt' look to carefully at Charlie eying his skateboard.

Pushing her sunglasses up on her head, Charlie sighed with relief as she saw Drew's swashbuckling. Of course since he was alive and well, she would never tell him that she actually cared.
But bad news followed dilligently as Professor Davenport came to assess the damage and possibly take some names. "I didn't do nothing!" Was her only plead for innocence. "Swear!"

"I was trying professor," Lily said in all honesty, fear and relief all on her face at once. "Tried for the longest time. All the way down here and when he was still up there as well. I didn't want him skateboarding off of the roof in the first place. I thought he was going to die for sure!"

Arianna let out a small sigh of relief when she saw that Drew was okay. She didn't care if they were in trouble, just as long as he had no long-term injuries.
"That was...some landing," she commented, giving him a small smile.

"You can explain it all to Professor Raynor," Becca told them, still fuming. While she tended to believe them, Tamis would possibly want the eye witness accounts anyway. "NOW!" she told them, pointing to the castle. "We'll see what she has to say about her eagles trying to fly..." { Be there }
