Grinning, Felicity shook her head. Drew's made up language was fun to listen to, especially when Sammy perked his ears like he was really trying to listen and understand. It was quite hilarious. Actually, that day overall had been a lot of fun, she and Drew got to hang out for the first time that day, and that was the first day he held her hand too, even if most of it wasn't really anything.
"You fell for it, didn't you?" she smiled. Dancing on spot, she scooped up her own fork of potatoes and wiggled her eyebrows at him. "Buttercup was pretty smart, I think she could've fooled anyone into eating poisoned food. Besides, what would you do without me after I've been poisoned?"
She was hoping his schedule would've remained awfully clear. But this way it was just made easier, if they were both poisoned neither would be bored without the other.

"Hey she got Westley to do all of the work around the farm for her," Drew agreed. "Heck yeah she could have tricked him into eating poison."
Of course he doubted Buttercup would ever have poisoned Westley just as Westley would never poison her, or Drew do something of that sort to Felicity. It was still a funny tease tp play for the time being.
What would he do with her poisoned? That was easy. "I'd eat the rest of your dinner," he told her with a wide grin, stabbing a forkful of potatoes from her plate and popping it into his mouth.

"He could've tried to tell her no," Felicity countered, though then the story wouldn't have been as romantic. "And he was the farmboy, that was his job. What she got him to do was get things for her, he could've told her no instead of 'as you wish'." However, then he wouldn't have been saying he loved her, and she might not ever have figured it out.
"Hey!" she called out when he went for her food. No, she really didn't mind, but that was a lousy answer. Shoving him gently away from her and her food, she pulled her plate off to the opposite side of her so he'd have to reach over her if he wanted her food. Turning to him with a raised eyebrow, she almost challanged him with a little look. "And just poison yourself in the end after all?"

"I thought that was the whole point," Drew agreed, taking another stab at her plate, going for the broccoli this time. "He could have told her no if he wanted to, but there were things that were more important."
She moved her plate before he could snag the vegetables, but he made the lunge across her, still trying to get at them, kissing her in the process. "Also the whole point," he told her with a wide grin.

That was true. The point of the story was Westley could have said no and thought Buttercup a terrible person for the way she treated him at the beginning, but he didn't. Instead he chose to fall in love with her. It was actually a part of the intrigue of the story.
While the blonde had been challenging Drew to get her food, she couldn't hardly believe he actually went for it, but as consolation she got a kiss from it.
"The point is to poison me, eat my food, and then in turn only poison yourself in the end?" It didn't sound like a very good plan.

"Sure, why not?" Drew answered, raising an eyebrow at her. If they were playing at him trying to poison her, then he might as well get poisoned in the process. Putting aside the whole Romeo and Juliet aspect of it, it just seemed reasonable. "I mean, two birds with one stone. What would be the point of me offing you and then sticking around? Might as well get a good meal out of it and then join you." He made another stab at her dinner, ignoring the fact that he had the same food on his own plate. It was more fun trying to eat off of hers.

Why not? What was really the sense in doing so? Wasn't it better to let both live? Of course, she really didn't mind that he was playing around with her. It was fun. As for killing two birds with one stone, wasn't he killing a birdy and a lion? She was pretty sure that's what it was; even if the saying was two birds.
"At the rate your going," Felicity started, pushing his hand away from her plate gently with a huge smile, "you're just going to poison yourself and let me live."
Moving her plate yet again, this time somewhat behind her where if he want for it he'd practically have to push her out of the way, or get close to trapping her where she sat to reach, Felicity stuck her tongue out at him again. No, she didn't mind he was eating off her plate, but she didn't think his plan was a good one at all, or the fact that with how much he was consuming from her plate she'd be left to figure out how to revive him it had been poisoned...well, revive him or hope his food was poisoned too because it'd be likely he'd gobble all of hers down first.

"No, I think you probably got enough already," Drew answered with certainty. "Besides, if that were the case, why not just let me eat your dinner instead of keeping it away from me?"
He really had no desire to really eat from her plate other than it was a fun tease, even more when she played along and tried to stop him. Now that her plate was behind her, he tried for it again, not exactly pushing past her, but more making a move as if to go right over her. Of course he really didn't plan to run her down just for some chicken. His plan, a good one despite what she may have thought, included getting distracted halfway there and kissing her instead.

"Because I'd prefer if my boyfriend didn't poison himself in front of me," Felicity explained, feigning exasperation. "Actually...I'd prefer if he didn't poison himself at all. That would be the better of the two choices."
Felicity was sure with her plate out of the way, Drew would give up on it. Then again, since when did he give up on food? And proof was given when he went for it yet again. At first, she thought he was really going to just knock her down to get her food, if he really was just that hungry she was sure he knew he could just say so and she'd pass her plate off to him. It wasn't that big of a deal. However, as he moved closer, she kind of didn't mind so much being run down for dinner.

"And I'd prefer my girlfriend stop playing like I'm trying to poison her," Drew answered quietly with a slight smirk on his face. He knew she was teasing, but he was getting tired of the game. He had other things he'd rather do.
He never made it to her dinner. It hadn't really been his intention in the first place. As he got in position over her, he leaned in and kissed her gently, savoring the sweetness.
Seriously. Who needed dinner?
