Matty resisted the urge to pinch Em's cheeked when he pouted at her. Honestly, he looked quite adorable. As his grin returned, the Hufflepuff let out a small 'awe' sound. "Well I don't think you're too scary, but others may." she teased, letting her index finger softly brush over the back of the boy's neck. She didn't feel awkward doing so, but there was a small nagging feeling in the bottom on her stomach that almost stop the girl. The core of that feeling was the anxiety that someone would bust through that door at any moment, finding the two teenagers like they were. Matty wasn't too concerned, for she was depending on the fact that they would hear someone coming, but that hadn't been the case when she had come here. Frankly... there wasn't any explanation that came to head, nothing reasonable besides the truth.
When Emeric commented on the fact that he would be at her game, the smile that had temporarily dulled from her face light back up again. His following comment made her giggle a little, but she kept a lid on things. "Gee, thanks Em. I'm glad to know you support me." she replied sarcastically, though deep down, she liked the idea of him being at her game. Sometimes Matty didn't bother to go to the other Quidditch matches, but from now on she was going to make an effort to get to the games involving Slytherin. She may even be tempted it wear green.
"It's okay. I think I'll be alright. Who knows, maybe blue and yellow would look good on me?" The girl's smile held faint traces of a smirk, as Matty leaned back a bit, apparently surveying Emeric. She nodded slowly, 'thinking', before moving back closer to him. "Hmm, maybe. After all, green and yellow do make green, so I suppose you could be in luck." she jested.

Matty's ' awe ' was greeted by a shake of the Slytherin's head, a smile tugging on his lips although he did find what she said rather cute and nice of her to say. Instead of his former thoughts of the Hufflepuff and Slytherin teams combining he had the thought of just him joining the Hufflepuff team. It was a comical idea, one that kept him amused as he thought about it. " I can't see why. I'm not scary really. " He guessed to some people he could be annoying, and be seen as a jerk, but he was pretty sure no one saw him as scary. They were just joking around of course, but that didn't stop Em from thinking about it afterwards. He could feel the light touch of her finger against his neck and felt a tingling sensation run up and down his spine. " Hmm.. " He hummed softly at the feeling as it subsided after a second or two.
So maybe Matty being in the match did have something to do with him going. He had already told he would be at the match but hadn't exactly told her why. Em figured she might get the picture. ' Gee, thanks Em. I'm glad to know you support me. ' He laughed at her comment, a smile on his face as he responded to it. " It's what I'm here for. Besides, I wouldn't want Ravenclaw to beat you too bad. " He grinned in a teasing way. If Hufflepuff did lose, the Slytherin at least hoped they didn't lose as bad at the snakes had. Hufflepuff still had a chance and that stood for something.
The Slytherin took the time to look Matty over as well as she leaned back and surveyed him with a light smirk on her face. He did the same, the smirk fitting naturally with his features. " I think you might be right. " He said as she moved back, now standing closer as she had been before. " So what do ya want to do? " He asked now. It was him who had suggested the meeting for the two, but he was open to suggestions about what to do other than stand around and talk. He enjoyed talking with Matty, especially if it allowed him to stand this close to her, but he also guessed she might want to do something else.

Matty noted on Emeric's slight shake of his head, which only caused her to grin more. These kinda of things made the girl fall for the boy all the more. Often enough, it was the little things about him that got her. not in a bad way, quite the opposite. It was the subtle changes she saw in him from time to time when they hung out that gave her a reason to smile when she thought about it later on. When the Slytherin protested on being scary, the girl let her mind run, finding a reply. She was in the perfect position to patronize him a little, in a playful way though. Still lightly stroking his neck, the girl leaned to wards him a little. "Mm, you should keep telling yourself that, too." she teased, before placing a small kiss on his lips that lingered for a second or two.
The teenager let herself back down onto flat feet again. The Hufflepuff knew that she would be able to keep a cool head in front of him at Quidditch, after all, no one would know, even if she was showing off. Which was wouldn't, anyway, but it was a thought that briefly occurred, but when then swept away. Matty had no need to show off in front of him... well, simply because she gave every game her all anyway. The fact that Emeric would be there only encouraged her more, if anything. She laughed softly after his comment, rolling her eyes slightly. "And I'm sure your presence there makes all the difference, right?" Matty asked him in a playful tone.
The girl found it amusing as Emeric did the same as her, by means of leaning back and smirking. When he was simply doing it, or mocking her, she didn't mind. The girl nodded again when he began to agree with her on the matter of being yellow and blue after the Gryff vs Slyth match. "So what do ya want to do?" His question didn't make her too curious as to why he asked, for the girl was aware that they couldn't stand here talking all night. "We could always go and catch up on study?" Matty suggested in a sarcastic tone. After a giving it another moments thought for a proper answer, the girl shrugged lightly. Her mind searched for something they could do, that wouldn't be disturbed by others. There were a couple of other rooms on the floor below that had big windows and seating ledges under them, perfect for star-gazing. Though they could do that here, too. They could always try and look for the Room of Requirement. "Theres a few empty classrooms on the Seventh floor, and we could always try and find the Room of Requirement, if you like. I don't mind though. What did you have in mind?" Matty asked him with a smile.

When Emeric thought of the word scary he pictured a big burly seven foot tall man with an axe or something in his hands, and that just wasn't Em. He was in shape, but definitely didn't have a body builder's image, he wasn't even close to seven feet tall, and he wasn't yet a man. His imagination wandered away slightly as he thought of other things he would think of as scary. Things like clowns, who were just plain unnatural to him, and one of his friend's fathers, who was just a scary person in general. Emeric was slowly brought back into the moment by the way Matty kept touching his neck lightly. He turned his head slightly, more into her touch as they kissed. It was nice to feel her lips lingering lightly against his own and as she pulled away slightly Em placed another quick kiss on her lips.
The fourth year found himself nodded his head as he listened to the girl's words, of course he could make a difference. A grin appeared on his face as he explained. " Well, yes I could. You look into the crowd and see my smiling face and suddenly get back into the game, just like that. " He removed his hand from where it had been touching lightly against Matty's back and gave a loud snapping noise as he said ' just like that ' for emphasis. " Or I could just get a kick out of seeing you play Quidditch. Take your pick. " He said honestly although his tone was still joking.
His eyes trailed back up to meet Matty's, a mischevious smile on his face. He shook his head in laughter at her first suggestion, saying, " I think I've had enough studying for one day. I'd like for us to have some fun. " He knew it had just been a joke, though, so he didn't think anything of it. He did want them to have fun, whatever it was they chose to do. He thought over her more serious suggested and even though about adding in that they could just find some place to be comfortable, and perhaps even sit down. He was growing a little tired of standing after a long day. His face brightened slightly at the mention of the room of requirement. " I've never been there before, " He admitted, finding the idea a rather good one on the Hufflepuff's part. " Have you? " He asked, thinking that she probably had if she was the one suggesting it.

In all honesty, Matty didn't think Emeric was scary, as much as she was playing along that she did. How could he be? The teenager barely looked older than herself, though generally people thought men were scarier than women anyway. He was tall, yes, and had a firm body frame, but in no way was that unusual or creepy. She didn't know of anyone that thought Emeric was intimidating by appearance, perhaps a young student at first impression, but he really wasn't a scary person. Even his personality traits didn't match those of a murder, or sinister type of person. Despite the fact that Em might be a little tough on the outside, Matty knew that he could be a bit of a softie on the inside. As gooey and stupid as it sounded, it was true. As he placed a short kiss back on her lips, the teenager's eyes found their way back up to his, a smile on her face.
When the Slytherin explained his reason for making a difference at her game, the girl laughed again softly. She had to admit, he did propose good points, even if they were in a playful matter. When he clicked his fingers to display how quickly she would 'get back into the game' Matty shook her head slightly, grinning at his extent. "Geez, I bet you've been planning that moment for months, haven't you?" the girl teased, before appearing to ponder for a while. "Maybe I'll just settle for a mix of the two." she said simply, giving him a small wink.
Matty gave him a nod as she agreed about the whole study thing, as she was sure that the boy knew she was only kidding about that. There was no way she would sacrifice her evening with Em for study. In fact... there wasn't anything that came to mind that she would rather do than be with him at the moment. When he confessed to never having been in the Room of Requirement, as she assumed he was walking about, and then asked her if she had, the teen nodded again. "Mhm, a few times actually. The doorway is usually between a couple of blue vases on the Seventh floor." she said, thinking back to the last time she had been there, for her birthday. "It's really easy to get to. All you have to do is walk past the spot three times, concentrating hard on what you want, and the door should appear." Matty stated.
The girl waited for Emeric's reply, before letting her hand around his neck slip back down to her side. Her other hand remained linked with the Slytherin's, as the girl walked with him down the Northern tower, and carefully to the place that she had spoken of before. The teenagers were careful to listen out, and keep their eyes peeled for anyone around, that would spot them together, but as it was around dinner time, no one was about. Matty found the two vases about 3 meters apart, with no trouble. She stopped, and nodded to wards it. "Here we are. I'll let you do you honors. Just remember, focus on what you want, and walk between that space three times." the Hufflepuff said, directing the distance between the two vases.
[hope the god-mod was alright >_<]

He hummed lightly to himself with a small smile. It was nice to kiss Matty, to hold her close to him. Their relationship had been a rather strange one from their meeting. He had been feeling oh so out of his element in a muggle market, lost of course, and she had been there, even led him back to Diagon and into his comfort zone. He was put off by her at first, wasn't sure what to make of the half-blood girl who was trying to befriend him. Em had grown to like Matty, even befriend her, mostly through lessons. She had always made sure to say hello, or sit by him at times. Again, he wasn't sure what to make of her. It had taken an event like what happened at the Shrieking Shack for him to admit to himself, and then her, that he really did like her.
Thankfully for him, the feeling had been mutual. With past relationships Em had remained the same, passive, not too interested, and still in his agressive state of mind that he always had to be right, and always had to be in charge. With Matty, though... She was turning him into a big softie. He didn't regret the fact, but was glad that he was able to keep his composure around other people. Around her, he could be as much of a ' softie ' and goofball as he wanted to. And she liked him regardless. He guessed that was what suprised and pleased him most about the Hufflepuff girl, she liked him regardless of the fact that he hadn't been so nice their first meeting.
He shook his head at her teasing, a playful smirk taking over his face now. ' Maybe I'll just settle for a mix of the two.' He lifted his shoulders in a half hearted shrug. " That's probably the best option. " He said, tilting his head to the side slightly as he smiled at the girl.
The fourth year listened with interest as Matty told him about the Room of Requirement. He had heard about the room and had talked to people about it but he was pretty sure he had never actually been in the room of requirement. He never had a need for it, and therefor didn't seek it out. " That simple, eh? " He asked, thinking that for such a room you'd think it would be a little bit harder to gain access to it. As the made their way down to the seventh floor, Em felt a little paranoid, looking over his shoulder and keeping an eye out for anyone. He had to admit, there was something very exhilarating about always having to keep an eye on things.
He hadn't been thinking of anything for them to do, figuring that maybe Matty had an idea, until she suggested that he do the honors. " Uhm... " He said with a small smile, trying to come up with something. " So this room comes up with anything? Say... a beach? " He asked, wondering if the room would only change into another room or something like that.

Despite the fact that Matty loved spending time with Em, the thought of what might happen if their friends or family found out. The boy had told the girl not to worry about his father, but she couldn't help pondering now and then what might happen. She had no idea, so many severe and mild ideas ran through her head. Would he pull Emeric out of school? Would he fight with him? Would he forbid him from seeing her? Would he accept the decision, perhaps? Nothing was certain, and so the teenager tried not to make too much of a habit of it. Her parents and brother wouldn't mind so much, though Matty's father may have been a bit suspicious as to why she didn't tell him. Cedric was one of those dads who liked to know who was dating his daughter.
And their friends... well, that was a whole different subject in itself. The Hufflepuff couldn't imagine her friends giving her the cold shoulder or anything of the such. She hoped that Emeric's friends wouldn't do the likes of either. But, again, the girl wasn't sure on the actions that either of their friends might make in a situation like this. Frankly, the two came from what seemed to be whole different worlds, with a window between where Matty and Emeric had both seemed to slip through, and now they were caught in the middle. No matter what though, the girl was glad this had happened. She was experiencing what Matty believed to be the real Emeric Troy, and she was understanding him as time went on.
The teenager nodded as he asked her about the procedure to getting into the Room being easy. As long as you knew how to get it, and where one of the entrances were, there was a great chance you could get in. Keeping your mind focused for what you really wanted, or needed, was a little more difficult, but the stages as a whole was fairly straight forward. Having reached the place, Matty looked at Em with a small smile as he questioned her about the room, and what may appear. She nodded slowly, however the girl wasn't too sure if it would turn into a real beach. "Hmm, I guess so. Or at least someplace that closely resemble a beach." Matty stated, wondering what he might have in mind. The girl hadn't used the room for such scenery before, though she had been in here for a picnic once. The floor had turned to grass, and the walls seemed to stretch for miles, with green pastures and a lake in the distance. Her and her boyfriend at the time hadn't ventured too far, though. Matty imagined that if Emeric had a beach in mind, the room may provide the sand, perhaps a fire if he thought of it, the night sky and a shore. But then again, who knows what magic could produce?

Em often worried about things like that, just as he was sure Matty did. He worried about his father finding out, he worried about what people would think, or if it was out if anyone would tell his dad. There were only a few people at Hogwarts who even knew his father, but still. It worried him. He tried his best not to let it show, because for as long as he could remember that was what he had been taught, to not let people see him worry or fret over something. He had spent the last two weeks pondering over things, mainly about his relationship with Matty. He silently wondered when a good time would be for them to be out in the open with their relationship. Or if timing was never going to be on their side, he could only guess for now.
He nodded his head as he listened to her answer. So it might work. That answer was good enough for him and gabe the girls hand a squeeze before unlacing his fingers from hers and pacing back and forth three times between the two vases, thinking, " I just want a beach for me and Matty to hang out. Roast some s'mores, maybe even go for a swim. " The smores idea had been random, as was the swimming idea, but what else was there to do at the beach? He was shocked as an old wooden door appeared on the wall. " Wow. " He muttered more to himself than Matty. He looked back to the girl and grinned, pushing his way through the door and holding it for Matty.
His first glimpse of the room, or scene rather, was endless blue. The beach seemed to last forever to the Slytherin. As he walked into the room he felt himself sink down slightly into the sand, he even reached down and picked some up just to let it fall through his fingers. How strange. Much to his own amusement there was a small fire blazing, and the necessary items to make smores already set out. He reached for the Hufflepuff's hand once again, although he was still looking at the place before him. There was a bench just behind the fire with two sticks set out, perfect for roasting the marshmallows. He also saw that there were two small changing rooms side by side, Em could only assume that swim suits would be located in their if they decided to go swimming.
" This is amazing. " He said in awe, turning towards Matty with a smile.

Matty allowed the boy to let go of her hand, and watched with curious eyes as he paced, obviously thinking of what he wanted. The girl could recall the first time she had been in here, sometime in her early years at Hogwarts. Like many, she had simply stumbled upon it, while running past in need of something. Her particular case had been running from Peeves, the school pestering ghost, and the second year had desperately needed a place to hide from him. When sprinting down the corridor one afternoon, the student had stumbled past, backing up from this spot, having dropping something. Then, after picking it back up, she ran past for the third time, and thats when the girl heard the door appear. Inside had been room filled with water bombs and smoke pellets. Lets just say Peeves wouldn't have been the driest once Matty was through with him.
After Em had finished with doing so, her eyes landed on the appearing door. A grin immediately found it's way to her face, as the teenager approached it, and went through the door that he was holding open for her. Even in this light, green eyes landed upon blue water, probably effected by the sky above. She felt her feet shuffle in the sand, as Matty took the boy's hand, her sight gazing around. It was by far once of the best rooms she had seen magic come up with. The teenager spotted a fire with a place to sit, and some stick lying by. The girl also noted on two small rooms, which what she assumed to be change rooms if they desired to go swimming, which was a pleasant surprise to her.
Matty heard Emeric comment on the room, and she looked at him with a matching smile. "Yeah, it is. The beach is so beautiful." the teenager added, before kicking off her slip-one shoes, feeling the sand under her stocking covered feet. The girl let herself wander into the room, looking around at the details more clearly. Em had really done a good job creating all this. "Now that we're in... what should we do?" the girl asked curiously, a smile still on her face.

Wow. Em couldn't help but think it again as he glanced around the room. It was perfect for what he had been thinking and he had absolutely no idea how it had happened. Magic, indeed. It was amazing how it was the same time of day on the beach scene, the sun already gone from the sky and the light outline of a moon in its place for light instead. It was nice, strange but really nice. And not only that, they had several things they could do if they wanted to. If they wanted to just sit and chat, there was a place for them to sit. If they wanted to eat, there was something for them to eat. And if they wanted to just have some fun, there was always the water.
He looked back at Matty and was pleased to hear she liked it. The setting was nice and kind of... romantic as well. He grinned slightly, giving a slow nod of his head. It was rather beautiful. He kicked off his shoes and socks and rolled up his pant legs to his knees with one hand, feeling refreshed as he walked slowly with Matty, the cool sand under his feet. He had just been about to ask her what she wanted to do when she beat him to it.
" Well... we could go swimming. Or sit and talk. Or make s'mores. Or... wander around the beach. " Even though it wasn't actually there, it was still a rather nice beach and very life like. He couldn't help but wonder for how long the water stretched out or if it was confined into the four walls of the room. But then again, if the room changed into whatever the person needed, how would anyone know what the original size of the room was? It would be impossible to guess. He smiled lightly at Matty, wonddering what she felt like doing.

As the teenager continued to entirely take in the room, she couldn't help but admit that this evening had been, and would further be really enjoyable. The fact that they didn't get to spend time with each other as often as they might've liked or even act differently when around others only made their time together better, as she had previous thought of. But even still, Matty was being fast convinced that this was probably the best time they had spent together since they began seeing each other. Meeting up in the tower, talking and teasing, now coming down here and being at the beach. Well, it was all fantastic, really.
The Hufflepuff watched out of the conner of her eye as Em kick of his shoes too, rolling up his pants. It was a bit odd, being at the beach in their school uniform, but that didn't matter too much. Heck, it was a bit weird being at the beach in January, and in Scotland at that. Matty typically loved the beach, and Summer, and it seemed that the air inside the room was slightly warmer than that outside it. Though perhaps that was due to the fire... who knew?
The teenager turned back to Emeric as he answered her question. "Well... we could go swimming. Or sit and talk. Or make s'mores. Or... wander around the beach." Matty took into consideration what she wanted to do most. The water was very intriguing to her, she wanted to know what this magically-created water was like, and how far it actually stretched. The girl glanced aside at the two small changing cabins, before turning back to Em. "In that case... I hope you're a good swimmer." she stated with a mischievous grin, giving his hand a small squeeze.
The Hufflepuff then gently unlaced her hand from his before slowly making her way to one of the two change rooms. On the wooden door was a painted sign at read 'Ladies' in bright colours that stood out on the white paint. As she opened the door, the girl found the small room to be large than she had seen it for. There were a rack of different size and pattered swimmers on the far side, with a mirror and a sectioned off bit that appeared to be a bathroom. Matty approached the rack, and after glancing though some of the bikini's, the girl changed into a red and black tiger striped costume, and slipped on a pair of black short board shorts that came about 30cm down from her hips. The girl didn't really feel uncomfortable, for she had a rather nice and athletically fit physique. Besides, she was happy with her body, and if she wasn't, there wasn't allot she could have done about that. Matty hung her school clothes up on the rack, before emerging out the change room.

Em could even feel an artificial breeze sweep through the area, the air feeling warm and nice. He still couldn't quite believe it and found himself just staring off rather than looking at Matty. He was glad that he had messaged her that morning, because if he hadn't then the two wouldn't have met up in the tower, and they certainly wouldn't have made their way to the room of requirement either. His eyes turned to the small fire which cast flickering shadows onto the sand. It was tantalizing, but he looked back to Matty, his smile on his face yet again.
' In that case... I hope you're a good swimmer. ' Emeric's smile held the light traces of a smirk as he heard Matty say this. " Same to you. " He muttered as she released his hand and they parted, him going into the changing room labeled ' Guys ' and she going into the one labeled ' Ladies. ' Oddly enough there was a chest full of swimming shorts of any color and pattern he could think of.
He finally decided on a plain red pair of board shorts and quickly changed into them. He placed his school uniform on a bench in the room and caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. His hair was a little ruffled, but he looked fine in general. Em pushed his way to the door to find himself face to face with Matty. " Wow. " He said, a playful grin working its way onto his face as he caught a glimpse of the girl. She looked good, almost too good. " So... " He said, pausing as he looked to the water and then back to Matty. " Race ya. " He said, hardly waiting to hear a response before breaking out into a run towards the water. He didn't look back to see if Matty was behind him or next to him or even in front of him, he dove straight into the water.

Matty was only outside her change room for a few seconds before Emeric popped up in front of her. Even in the dim lighting, the teenager noticed his fit body. It matched his attractive looks, in all honesty. The boy's grin managed to catch on, as the girl smiled back at his comment. "So..." As he said this, the Hufflepuff watched him look, and followed in suit. "Race ya." Her eyes glanced over to where Emeric had been standing, only to realize he had darted off to wards the beach. Still grinning, the girl picked up her feet and began to run to wards the water too. "Hey!" she shouted, nearing it more. "Cheat!" Matty claimed, before running to the side of where the Slytheirn had dove in, and did the same.
As her body slipped through the water, an unusually refreshing sensation washed over her body. Oddly enough, the 'ocean' wasn't really all that cold, though no was it warm. It was a perfect cool, though relaxing temperature, as Matty swam through the dark water. She hadn't ever been swimming at night, so with the stars above and the moon reflecting on the water, it was really quite amazing. After a moment, the teen broke the surface, her slightly freckled face dripping with water, her hair doing the same. Matty ducked under the water again, clearing the stray pieces of hair from her eyes, before emerging again.
This room really was fantastic. The beach was gorgeous, the water was wonderful and the sky looked real, too. What better way to spend a night with Emeric, than at this very place? The girl swam out a little from the shore, no longer being able to reach the bottom, both due to the depth of the water, and her height. She continued to tread water, looking around for a sight of Em. Since he had entered the water, Matty hadn't the faintest idea where he was. She didn't seriously think he had drowned, but a small alert flag went up inside of her. Turning around slowly, the teenager kept her eyes peeled for where he was going to pop up next.

Em smiled slightly as he hit the water and went under, swimming out away from the shore. The water was rather nice, refreshing. It wasn't cold at all like he had been bracing himself for, but rather lukewarm and a perfect temperature for swimming. His mind was too befuddled to even think about all of this being in a room. A room, really it was just too crazy to think about so he didn't as he resurfaced, seeing Matty still swimming. Taking a quick breath the Slytherin slid back down into the water, doing a fair job at holding his breath.
He kept his eyes open slightly despite the light feeling of the water stinging them, until he saw that Matty had finally resurfaced above the water. He swam quickly through the water until he was right in front of her. Without a sound the fourth year popped out of the water directly in front of the girl, giving her a good splash. He thought she might have minded if she hadn't already been covered in water, but as she was Em didn't think Matty would care too much about it. It was just water, afterall. " Hey, Matty. " He said with a playful grin as he treaded water.
He looked around, thinking just how perfect the night was turning out to be. All he had expected that morning was to just hang out, talk a bit and just have a good time. He certainly hadn't expected to go swimming or anything like that. He wouldn't have complained a bit if all they had done was sit in the tower and talk, but this was proving to be a bit more interesting for the boy. " Since I won... What do I get? " He asked, his mischevious grin settling onto his face as he looked at the girl.

Still treading water, Matty continued to gaze around. The girl had never tested how far the room would actually stretch, in means of distance. She wasn't sure what would happen if one was to even reach the end of the room, in this case. Considering this was the ocean, it couldn't just continue until it hit a wall, right? That would be quite bazaar. Perhaps it didn't end? Was magical capable of succeeding in that? It was all making her too curious to swim out further, and so Matty focused her attention back on the whereabouts of Em. Then, out of no where, he popped up right in front of her, splashing her in the doing so.
Of course, she wasn't upset with him, and as a reaction, simply splashed him back. The girl grinned back at him, unable to keep a straight face. Matty was really glad she was spending her time with him tonight, as the teenager couldn't really imagine anyone else she would rather spend it with. "Since I won... What do I get?" The girl thought how to approach this, before swimming a little closer to him, a flirtatious smile resting on her feature. Once she was about half a meter from from him, Matty splashed Emeric with another wave of water. "Thats for cheating." she grinned, however continuing to stay where she was. "So, I think I should get a reward."
