Drew wasn't too concerned about Alexander storming off anymore than Drew had been concerned by Alex's look at Felicity's tush. The guy had always struck him as a bit overly fussy.
The casserole that Krissy threw hit him square in the chest and he looked up and opened his mouth wide at Krissy. "Aim higher next time!" he shouted at her pointing at the prefered target. Actually, he probably wouldn't like eating the food thrown by someone else, but heck, he was hungry.

Krissy turned to look at Drew as he yelled out to her. She grinned. He was crazy. "Open your mouth a little wider then" Krissy called back to him, her mood lightening a fair bit with Drew being friendly rather then hostile. She was glad he wasn't mad for splattering him with food. But it was Drew so it was unlikely he ever would. If was while her attention was distracted that Felicity's handful of pasta hit her, or well random strings of pasta did as others landed around her. Krissy's eyes flicked to Felicity for a moment and turned back to the table to grab 2 things. One was a bread roll, the other a fist full of lasagne.
"Catch!" Krissy called out to Drew as she launched the bread roll to him, aiming for his mouth this time and wondering if he mouth was large enough to catch a whole roll in. Although she reckoned she could probably do it, so she did not doubt Drew's ability. With her other hand Krissy threw the lasagne at Felicity. The gooey substance breaking up midair and going in all funny angles. Felicity was probably lucky Drew had caught her attention of Krissy may have thrown the whole tray of it.

Alexander made his way over toward the Head Girl. "Krissy, no....stop!" he tried to tell her before she had thrown more food toward the Ravenclaw table. Yes, that Drew Thornton guy was not helping any of the situation at all, especially since there was a professor staring all of them down. Why she hadn't done anything yet, was beyond him. Maybe she was tallying up in her mind how many house points all of them would lose.
"Krissy, come on now....what's your deal?" Alexander asked her a bit shortly, and struggled to grasp at her hands. She was a mess again, and soon Alexander had a feeling he was going to get some as well. But he needed her to knock it off, at least for a minute to figure out what in hell was her deal. "Why are you throwing food? Isn't it enough to have it everywhere else?" Just then he felt something hit the back of his head. Not a good day.

Thinking it was kind of odd Drew ignored that she just smeared food over his face, Felicity rolled her eyes. Maybe he was mad at her, but mad enough to ignore her and instead flirt with the red head who was throwing things at her? That in turn only made Felicity angry. Drew may have been hungry, but she couldn't believe he ignored her.
Grabbing up a meat pie from the table, one that hadn't been touched, Felicity turned to Drew. "If you're so hungry...eat." Taking the pie, she shoved it in Drew's face, making sure to shove it in good, she let go and took off towards the Gryffindor table. Why should she just stand there and get food thrown at her by someone she didn't know and be ignored?
However, as she turned, she got a face full of lasagna, causing her temporary blindness. As she stumbled for a minute, her hands found and almost latched onto someone in front of her.

Alexander struggled even more still as he tried to get Krissy's hands within his own. "Krissy....Krissy!" He kept saying, but he knew that without a miracle, or doing something really rash, he'd never be able to get a hold of her before she threw another load of whatever was in her hands next. Briefly looking over his shoulder, that was when he saw Felicity shove another thing into Drew's face, and he had to stop a small snicker that was coming to the surface. Served him right in Alexander's mind, starting all of this as Alexander almost knew he must have.
Looking back to Krissy, and finding her magnificent green eyes meeting his lavender ones, he could tell that she was pissed, but for what reason, Alexander doubted he'd ever really know. "Krissy.....look," he started, trying to explain anything in order to calm her down, but he didn't even know what was wrong with her to begin with. All of a sudden, she had just jump up and started hurling food at Felicity and himself. Talk about mood swing.
A stumbling person then ran into the back of him, and knocked him off his balance. Alexander lost eye contact with Krissy and found his hands around her waist trying to prevent himself from falling over her, and making Krissy lose her balance as well. Unfortunately, his face didn't fare to well...but that reason was as dark to him as it may have been to those around him because for him all had gone dark as his eyes were closed, protecting themselves from whatever had been just shoved in his face.

Krissy was about ready to yell at Alex as he came up and told her to stop. What right did he have to tell her to do anything. Perhaps he should just go and tell his blonde haired girl what to do. She might be wanting to listen but Krissy herself was not. She didn't have to listen to him. she struggeled against him, not wanting him to grab her hands. His tone wasn't helping the situation either. However he worsened the situation by glancing over to where the blonde haired girl was. Yup even when he was with her he was still looking at Felicity. Krissy scowled and took the moment that his attention was caught to grab hold of a large apple pie. Krissy loved apple pie but she would love to see the girl wear it. However when she turned back the girl was missing. However it took Krissy a whole of two seconds to locate her.
Alexander suddenly bumped into her, knocking her off balance and though she managed to gain some of hers, her apple pie had suddenly smashed into Alexander's face. Krissy scowled as she realised what had just happened. The girl couldn't stay where she was and had to follow Alex so she could put her filthy little hands all over him again. Krissy stumbled backwards a little and then made sure she was corrected. "Why don't you just go get a room or something?!" Krissy demanded slightly angrily to both Alexander and Felicity. Her green eyes sparked with anger. She was highly tempted to go to where Drew was. At least he wasn't about to yell at her or try and tell her what to do. However she just glared at the two of them for a moment longer, half waiting for a reply.

Drew's writer had actually expected the food to be smeared on his face and it in no way was his fault that he did not respond to said smearing. How the writer missed that bit while looking for it is a mystery to us all.
It was impossible to miss the pie to the face though, which he thought was kind of funny. "I prefer lemon," he told her as Krissy attempted to toss a roll in his mouth. Drew tried and as big as his mouth was, it sure wasn't that big. The piece of bread bounced off his nose and landed in the rogue gravy boat that had started the whole mess.

Snake grinned up at Jax as she leaned over her. She was currently oblivious to everything happening above and round them. “Oh, so now you’re worried about getting into trouble.” She smirked and put her hands under her head and gazed casually up at her. She laughed and turned her attention momentarily to the food fight going on outside, it seemed to be almost dieing down. Well, she might as well get one more throw in before it was two late. She propped herself up on one elbow and used her free hand to reach up onto the table. She grabbed a handful of the first mushy stuff she came across and tossed it at random towards the bulk of the crowd.
Of course the act of pushing herself up also brought her much closer to Jax and she looked back to find there faces an inch apart. She grinned and stayed propped up on her elbow for a brief slightly awkward moment before lowering herself to the ground again and looking to see if whatever she had thrown had hit anybody.

Annemarie had sat back long enough as food was flung across the Great Hall and now people’s faces were being shoved in all sorts of pies. Had these children no clue as to how lucky they were to be eating as well as they were? Had they no clue how many others were starving and would eat the food right from the ground that these students had just covered it with. “THAT’S ENOUGH!” Yelled the former Sister, as she stood up from her chair at the high table, smashing down her own hands on the table making their glasses and silverware shake and jingle.
“I’d advise you all to sit down this instant!” Annemarie Van Aller stated as she rounded the end of the table and stood at the front of the Great Hall. “You all are a disgrace to what Hogwarts is! Have you no respect for those who have made this food for you today? Or any knowledge of how grateful others would be if they had this food that you’ve all splattered across the floor?!” A splatter came from underneath a table where hopefully the last bit of food would be thrown from, and Annemarie’s features only hardened and narrowed at the Ravenclaw table. Annemarie walked through the tables one by one glaring at each of the food covered students making sure to watch her own footing as she did so. All she needed was to slip and cause herself to be a mockery just as the children had.
She hadn’t seen who had started it, for it had started before she had entered the Great Hall, and as she passed the Hufflepuff table she looked at the red haired Head Girl and grimaced. “And you, of all people…” Annemarie didn’t know the girl, but she knew exactly what a Head Girl was supposed to be, and on top of that she knew that the girl was the Head Girl because of her own research that Annemarie had done when she had arrived at the school.
Annemarie got back to the front of the Great Hall and stared down the rest of the students. “The next thing done,” Annemarie said sternly, “will be the last for both you, and your houses.” Annemarie kept glaring at them as she walked back up to her own chair and sat down again. “Don’t try my patience.”

When the professor started yelling, Drew sat back down in his seat and tried to look inconspicuous. The good news was he hadn't thrown any food. The bad news was this professor was a killjoy, talking about gratefulness and respect, and trying to lay a guilt trip on them. What a crock.
He wasn't too sure what she meant by her last warning though. He also wasn't about to be the one to speak up and ask her about it.

Chad had been watching the entire fight from his place at the staff table, but did nothing to step in and stop it. They looked like they were having fun, so he was just going to turn a blind eye unless it really got out of control. And then he heard the voice. Looking up, Chad saw the new professor scolding the students for wasting the food. Rolling his eyes, Chad scooped up a big forkful of mashed potatoes and flicked it at the back of Annemarie's head.

Letting go of the person, she managed to get the saucey substance from her eyes without harm, only to glance at Alexander with something in his face. The red head did it, there was no mistaking that, but taking another glance at the girl as she tried to be disgusted by her, her jaw dropped. The Head Girl? The Head Girl didn't have red hair, she had black. Felicity hadn't had problems with her before, or she didn't think she had, maybe she'd taken it all a bit too personal? Perhaps.
Suddenly, she felt very confused. Yes, both she and Alexander needed to get to a loo to wash, but why was Krissy saying it so venomously? Furrowing her blonde eyebrows, Felicity wasn't sure what was wrong, but there was definitely something wrong.
Opening her mouth to reply, she didn't get the chance to voice her concerns, something made her jump, and if she dared, she might actually have latched onto Alexander for good. Whipping her head around, she watched the Muggle Studies Professor walk around, listened to the new advisor of the school paper threaten all of them.
If they lost points, got detentions, or something more, what would that really prove? That they were all troublemakers. As the woman slunk around, Felicity felt remnants of the lasagna peel from her clothes and heard them plop on the castle floor.
As soon as the woman sat down, Felicity dropped to her knees and started cleaning the food up off the floor, realizing she had no where to put it, she grabbed an empty plate off the Hufflepuff table and started piling food on. Cleaning up the mess was probably going to be their punishment anyway, why not get a head start?

Drew wasn't even sure if he should help with the cleaning considering the woman had said that the next thing they did would be the last thing. Exactly what did she expect them to do? Leave the mess and just sit there?
He didn't ponder this long. When the Quidditch ref flung a gob of potatoes at the woman's head, it was all Drew could do to keep from laughing. He lowered his head and bit his lip, hoping the professor didn't see him giggling.

With Jax watching Snake's every move, it came as a complete shock to her when the muggle studies pofessor she had had class with was walking around and yelling. She crouched down further under the table, knowing that she had to have been seen and she smirked. "Worried?" she said to Snake. "Not me."
Jax watched as the Professor Van Aller seemed to make her rounds, stopping to comment Krissy at the Hufflepuff table and then returning back to her table to tell them to all dare her into punishing them. Jax wasn't worried about getting into trouble, but she was a bit worried about brining attention to herself being practically on top of Snake under the Ravenclaw table so she didn't challenge the professor. Being under the table she didn't realize Felicity starting to pick up the mess that was made, but she was able to see some mashed potatoes hit her the professor in the back of the head. Ouch! Jax thought to herself as she bit her lip. Whoever did that was in major trouble, but Jax just held her breath.
"Uh oh..." she said quietly, so that only Snake could hear her.

It was like a sticky face mask. That's how Alexander was able to pull his face out of the apple pie and not run off screaming to the nearest loo. A sticky, face mask. Alexander found his face with his hands and started to wipe the apple mess from off of his face, as he listened to Krissy's harsh words and tones. "Krissy, what are you talking about?" was all he managed to get out before he heard a roar from the High Table. It would figure that they would be yelled at. Alexander turned around briefly and not only did he see a professor walking through the rows of the tables, but Felicity who was the one whom presumably had run into him making him fall face first into the pie that Krissy had been holding. He supposed that it was better him than her, but still had no idea why Krissy was even participating in such a ruckus to begin with. Then again, wasn't that just the kind of person she tended to be?
Alexander was in mid-thought, thinking about Krissy launching potatoes at the Deva intruders, when the woman professor entered their vicinity and looked disgustedly at Krissy, not to mention saying a few words of retort. Even though at most times, Alexander would have had to agree with the woman, this time Professor Van Aller had really gone to far. Krissy hadn't started the food fight, and there was no reason to be saying that she couldn't fight back in self defense. It could have been self defense...right? Alexander tried to find Krissy's hand to take a hold of it to gesture in her defense, but as he did so Van Aller walked off back to the high table and Felicity started to clean up the floor. Alexander didn't say anything, but he turned to Krissy with his eyes and tried to say what he couldn't.
Why couldn't she just see that he was really trying to look out for her? Was that so wrong?
