Drew's appetite had come back in recent weeks... and with a vengeance as if making up for the last month and a half that he hadn't eaten much of anything. Oh, he hadn't been starving, and any weight he had lost really hadn't been noticeable, but he had drastically cut his food intake down to the traditional three meals a day.
And until this week, he hadn't bothered with seconds, had only served himself one portion, didn't clear his plate. It wasn't so now. As Drew sat down for dinner (early which was also a sign things were getting back to normal for him), he pulled a plate of chicken pieces towards him and placed four on his empty plate. That was followed by a heap of potatoes and a couple of servings of cooked carrots. He placed a dinner roll on top and probably would have added green beans and pasta if he had had any room left on his plate.
"Oy! Pass the gravy?" he asked the kid sitting a bit down from him.
{OPEN! ;D }

Normally Snake would be found at he own house table but today she had wandered over to the Ravenclaw table in hopes of finding Jax. She wasn’t that hungry so she was pushing the food around her plate more than she was eating. So she was in her own little world, thinking and looking for the younger Ravenclaw every five or so minutes, until somebody spoke to her. She was a bit surprised because the voice, she looked up to see an older Ravenclaw boy, was asking for her to pass the food not asking why she was at his table. She had not been expecting anybody to talk to her unless it was to tell her to leave.
“Yeah,” She said and slid the gravy – which she had been using to create rivers in her mash potatoes – down to the older boy. She looked out all the food on his plate, “You must be hungry.” She commented with an suppressible grin. She couldn’t exactly pinpoint what brought it to mind but she was suddenly reminded of her best friend back home. He had always filled his plate with as much as it could hold and eaten it quickly so she guessed that was what had brought him to mind.

Lucas looked up from his plate when he heard Drew's voice. He saw a girl obey his command and he scoffed slightly. The Raven looked back down at his food and poked at it with his fork like he'd been doing before. He'd just been down lately and for some reason, Drew just got to him. It wasn't even a big deal but for some reason, it just irritated him.
Looking down the table, Lucas realized that he was going to need that too. "Can you pass it down when you're done?" Lucas asked and then added, "Drew."
He didn't want the girl to have to interrupt her dinner again.

"Thanks," Drew answered, shooting her a smile as he took the gravy boat. He knew she wasn't in his house, but he didn't pay much mind to it. Maybe he'd bug her about it later but for now he was trying to remember if he knew her. She was younger, but not really young enough to be a little kid. Whatever it was, something about her was familiar.
He slid the gravy down to Lucas when he was done with it, not even bothering to look at the other boy. Smith was a housemate, but that didn't mean Drew had to like him any.
"This? This is just the appetizer," he told the girl with a cheesy grin. Truth was, while it was probably more than he had eaten at any meal in the past month, it was still nothing compared to what he usually ate.
"I'm Drew. What's your name?" he asked, knowing he'd look like a fool if he had met her before, but deciding that looking like an idiot was nothing new for him. Besides, it was driving him crazy where he knew her from.

Lucas watched as Drew slid the gravy down to him and he could see disaster coming. He made a quick grab for it but he was too late. The boat hit a crack in the table and it toppled over, splashing all over Lucas' plate and all over his lap. Jumping up, Lucas swore loudly and fell backward over the bench.
As he hauled himself up, the Ravenclaw tried to wipe his pants off and stalked back over to Drew. "You wanna watch what you're doing, mate?" Lucas snarled, flicking the gravy off his hand and in Drew's direction.

It was one of the rare times Felicity actually made it to the Great Hall for a real dinner. She was feeling better, she was feeling so much better. Most of the time, in the last weeks, she'd taken to rushing down before others would arrive, or well after, grabbed a roll and took off. Or, once in a very great while, if she was feeling brave, she'd sneak down to the kitchens, but again for nothing ever more than a roll or maybe an apple. And if she didn't go somewhere, she would sometimes ask Drew if she could have an apple, knowing he carried them with him.
However, tonight she was hungry. She hadn't been hungry since before the takeover, but she could hear her stomach growling for the last hour and she knew she had to listen to it. When she was hungry, it meant it was time to eat. Whether it was because she really was hungry, or because she was feeling happier, or because she wanted to go back to being normal so badly she was forcing her stomach to make those noises, she didn't care as long as she got food in her system.
Sitting at the Gryffindor table, she piled food onto her plate like she hadn't eaten a good meal in ages, which was kind of true. Enjoying what was splayed out before her, mashed potatoes, chicken, a slice of roast beef, carrots, peas, it was the works. And she hadn't even eaten a bite yet. Really, she just loaded her plate up at Gryffindor, but she had plans on making her way over to the Ravenclaw table. She felt she owed Drew a meal to eat with him since she'd blown off the Valentine's meal he'd made for her, as well as any other time he'd tried to coax her into eating dinner.
Carrying her plate over, she didn't get the chance to set it down before Lucas started talking to Drew angrily and she was spattered with...gravy?
Well, it was unexpected to be splattered with anything, but at least it wasn't spit. While the words of the boy hadn't touched her ears, just the tone, she set her plate down next to Drew's, picked up a pea and tossed at Lucas with a small smile. "Trade you?"

Drew had been focused on the younger girl, not really interested in the other boy at the table, so he didn't even notice anything had happened until Lucas stormed over.
"Dude! It was an accident. Sorry," Drew answered, apologizing more over the fact that he had wasted the gravy than the fact that Lucas was a mess. Drew actually thought that part was kind of poetic justice. He wiped the own gravy splatters off of himself as he heard Felicicty's voice. When he turned towards her he saw she had gotten some gravy on her as well. Drew turned back to Lucas and glared. The only reason Smith wasn't on the floor at this point was he was a friend of the Gryffindor's and she seemed to be a little more forgiving than Drew felt at the moment.

"Sorry it's all over me, or sorry you wasted your gravy?" Lucas snapped back. He could tell by Drew's tone that the boy didn't care in the slightest. Taking his hand, Lucas wiped more of it off him and flicked the rest at Drew once again. "Here, have it back!" he growled.

Drew grumbled a rude name back, wiping the gravy off of himself as he retook his place and tried to resume his dinner. He considered asking both of the girls if he could join them at the Gryffindor table instead, but felt like he shouldn't have to be run off just because Lucas was a butthead.
He turned to Felicity and smiled, suddenly realizing what he had said. She didn't like him saying stuff like that. "Sorry," he apologized, hoping she would still sit with him.

Felicity hadn't taken a seat at the table yet. She was a little too worried about Lucas' tone and what he was saying. Though, it wasn't just Lucas that surprised her, but Drew as well. Lucas ignored her to begin with, and she wasn't used to being ignored by him. And then Drew retaliating with his words.
The boys were her two of her favourite Ravenclaws and she didn't like them acting the way they were. And what was worse was what Drew called Lucas. That wasn't nice and he knew very well what she thought about that kind of language. And while Drew apologized for it, she wasn't pleased with the way either of them were acting.
"Lucas was that necessary?" she asked about the throwing of the gravy. "And Drew you didn't need to call him that, it's not nice. Why don't you guys grow up?"
Picking up her plate, she turned in a huff, only to slip on a bit of gravy that'd made it to the floor. Talk about making an entrance back into the Great Hall. Her plate went up in the air with her arms at the sudden change of elevation. Food...well, you can guess it.

"Sorry," he barked rather harshly at Felicity, speaking to her for the first time since she came over. He flashed her a more apologetic glance before looking back at Drew. Lucas glared at his fellow Ravenclaw before deciding to walk away. He sat back down at the table, now realizing how hard he'd cracked his head when he fell over the bench.

"Me grow up?" Drew shot back, agreeing that no, he shouldn't have used that particular word, but thinking it was nothing compared to being splattered with gravy, especially when Drew had spilled it by accident. Lucas was the one causing problems. Lucas had started it. He was just trying to finish it. Why was she mad at him?
As she moved away, Drew swung his feet out to go after her, feeling bad that the other Gryffindor now seemed to be caught in the middle of this fuss, but feeling like he had to fix things with his girlfriend. When Felicity ended up slipping, he reached out to catch her, getting splattered with her dinner in the process.

She smelled great, her hair was spiked, styled, and as awesome as ever, and Jax was ready to go to dinner. Why so dressed up? Well, Snake was officially back and after their conversation when she had returned, she at least wanted to look good, even if she had no real reason to tell everyone else why she had gotten so done up. Jax didn’t care, she could just say she felt like it. It’s not like she hadn’t lied before.
Walking downstairs, her blue jeans rubbing back and forth against each other, with a black tank top and the rabbit pendant choker dangling around her neck. There was no reason for a sweater or anything, and that would dampen the look that Jax was trying to pull off. There was no makeup, as if she ever used that girly stuff any ways, but there was a nice whiff of cotton candy emanating off of her. It was her one and only body spray that she rarely ever used, but for an occasion as such that this one that Jax was hoping for, she decided she needed to smell as if someone could eat her right up.
Entering the Great Hall, Jax looked toward the Gryffindor table and frowned slightly. Snake wasn’t there. She slowly started to migrate to her own table, shoving her hands in her pockets when she realized why it was she couldn’t find her friend. Snake was sitting at the Ravenclaw table a few down from where Drew was sitting. An overgrown smile appeared as Jax was even more excited at her luck! Snake was actually going to join her for dinner. It was a good thing she had gotten all dolled up after all!
Walking up from behind her friend just as Snake had passed the gravy to Drew, and then he passed it to Lucas, she put her hands over the girl’s eyes from behind. “Guess who?!” the young Raven said in a way that was soft and not as a friend might have said it, but something more. She may have sounded as if she were joking to those around her, but Jax knew other wise.
She had never seen what happened to Lucus until he had gotten up, him and Drew threw a tassle, Felicity came over, and then food was flying everywhere in the air. Jax’s hands by that time had slipped from Snake’s eyes to her own side as she placed herself in front of food that was splattering, in order to try and preserve Snake from the Raven madness that was obviously taking place. Drew got up, with most of Felicity’s tray splattering all over him of gravy and meat, but what no one realized until just a few moments later was that her mashed potatoes were flying through the air….
That was, no one noticed until the mashed potatoes landed with a splat on the top of Jax’s clean, spiked and styled hair; the raven’s mouth dropped and Jax didn’t know whether to cry or yell because now she was also a mess. So, in turn she got pissed. “What the…..!” she yelled out, along with a nicely colored word that the writer knows you all have imaginations to figure that one out and grabbed a nice sticky helping of stuffing in which she hurled at Felicity and Drew. Jax could only hope that it hit them both in the face at one time.

Alexander had seen the commotion at the Ravenclaw table. Who wouldn’t have? Between both guys in which Alexander knew from classes, but only one in which he actually knew formally, no one could have missed the gravy passing, and the falling Miss Hjort. Alexander’s eyes opened wide as she took a dive her food flying everywhere and Drew’s hands all over her to try to help her up. Ok, so they weren’t all over her, but they were not helping the situation either. “Excuse me,” Alexander said to the friends he sat with and got up from the bench and with a quick pace found himself over to where Felicity and Drew were.
“What is going on here?!” Alexander asked, his face flooded with concern for Felicity, yet still being able to narrow irritated like at both older Ravenclaws. If anyone, shouldn’t they know when something was uncalled for? Supposedly, they had more brains than any of the other houses, but from this demonstration Alexander doubted that in all reality. Bending over to where Felicity was, he placed his hand on her forearm and looked at her directly, hoping her brown eyes would catch his concerned lavender ones. “You ok?” he asked her worriedly.
It was then that Alexander heard another disturbance. A loud yell of a word that was not appropriate in his book, and as he looked over to see what in bloody hell that one was all about, he saw Jax, a girl he had met and helped during the invasion, with the biggest glob of soggy bread he did ever see. His eyes grew wide as he could hardly believe what he saw, and Alexander hoped that she didn’t actually….”No, wait!” Alexander called as she threw it and it broke off into smaller globs, the biggest actually landing in Alexander’s open mouth. He could have died right there on the spot, but as it was that he actually did eat stuffing, he closed his mouth. So, now what did he do with it? Did he chew and swallow, even after it had been in that girl's hands? He looked at Felicity almost asking for advice. Alexander should have found a garbage to spit in into, but even that wasn’t as appropriate as taking it ‘like a man’ and swallowing would have been. Alexander just sat there, not knowing what else to do.

Drew was really starting to dislike his house, thinking they were a bunch of over reacters. First lucas and now Jax was getting bent out of shape over what were quite obviously accidents. Luca, Drew could understand a little. The two boys hadn't gotten along much since before Christmas. But Jax? She was usually the cool one and for the most part was friendly to both Drew and Felicity. She couldn't forgive a friend for an accident?
Drew ducked the stuffing she threw, only getting a little bit of the splatter, and focused his attention on Felicity. Why Alex had rushed over when Drew had it covered was beyond him, but the Ravenclaw thoguth it was pretty funny that he got nailed full in the face. "Dude, you okay?" he asked, doing his best to bite back a snicker, more concerned for Alexander than he had been for Lucas.
