Ah yes the fifth years, probably the third most nervous group he's have. They had OWL exams at the end of the term, and most of them would probably be studying their heads to death throughout the year. At least, those that cared. They also had the easiest year of the lot however. All their lessons were subject to what they felt needed to be covered or, in most cases, re-covered.
The auror presence had been retained to the grounds with one or two in the corridors, which made Robert a bit uneasy. Not that he had anything to hide, but after that run in with that man Thorne he feared more for the safety of the student populace now than before the aurors had arrived. They would probably make teaching most, difficult.
The greenhouse was orderly, especially given he'd only spent two days working on getting it tidy after three months of nothing. The fifth years would find the man doing an herbologist's constant in the back of the room. Watering plants. From lily's to fanged geraniums, to the shrivelfig, every plant they had covered since first year was somewhere in the room.
All he needed now were students, who, like every other year would probably be bored out of their minds and souls. However, no one ever said studying plants was fun for everybody.

Drew came into what appeared to be an empty greenhouse. No, he wasn't a big fan of the subject, but he had started seeing that a decent knowledge in the subject would only help his Potion making... and THAT was something he needed to get into the academy.
So there he was, first. Great. It was fine and dandy to attend the class, but he didn't feel the need to go overboard with the enthusiasm.
"LETS GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD!" he cried out, mostly just to see if he could hear an echo.

Cameron came skipping down to the classroom. She walked into the greenhouse. "Whoa, Drew. I could definitely hear that."Cameron said as she set her stuff down and looked around. She yawned. Herbology was an alright class, still not one of her favorites, but it would have to do, since she did need it. Cam frowned at the thought, but carried on with looking around. She had a blank look on her face once again.

Dorf walked into the Herbology Greenhouse reading 'Interview with a Vampire' by Anne Rice. She could smell she had reached the greenhouse. From then on she realised it was not a good idea to walk and read at the same time because she walked right into a griffindor girl and fell onto her already sore behind. "Owph!" she exclaimed as she landed, book flying through the air. "Oh, deary me!" she said, "I'm so sorry!" she rubbed her lower back and stood up slowly, "I didn't see you there."
Dorf decided that now was as good a time as any to introduce herself. She stuck out her hand and sheepishly said, "I'm Dorf, by the way, Dorf Morris, good to meet you and bump into you." and added a friendly smile.

Nic came up behind the girl and laughed. "Did you say Dorf? That's mad funny." Nic laughed again. He couldn't help it it was a funny name. "Nicolae Torque." Nic knew the girl wasn't talking to him, but he interrupted and spoke to her anyways. Nic grabbed her hand and help haul her to her feet.

Dorf took the boys hand gratefully but faced the boy with a fire in her eyes, and said, "you obviously haven't met my mother!" She made a concerted effort to smile, the corner of her mouth twitched. She walked to her book and looked down at it. It was in a puddle of water. "Damn!" she exclaimed, picking up the book and watching the water run off like a waterfall. She turned back to Nic and said, "you could always do a Drew on me and call me Doxy, though it's just as strange to me." She shook he book and sighed deeply, brand new and already ruined.

"Nuh uh! That's my name for you!" Drew cried out indignantly. "He has to come up with his own name!" Of course, if it came down to it, Drew would share. He just wanted to see what Nic would come up with.

Upon hearing Drew's last comment he just came in the classroom. "Nic, Drew, you guys creating chaos or something in here?" he asked them. Er, back in this subject was another thing Tristan never liked about this class. Professor was cool just no the subject. All he heard was 'OWL Review'. Bummer...

Herbology was a class Layla didn't mind at all, it was intricately related to Potions so it was an obvious necessity to her. What she didn't like was being in the greenhouse most of the time. For the most part it was just gross and humid and incredible uncomfortable. Sometimes there were cooling charms, she hoped today was one of those days.
Layla walked in trying to concentrate on the upcoming lesson instead of the temperature and smiled at her classmates. "Hey everyone."

The shout barely phased him, if anyone noticed it at all. As everyone seemed to ignore him, or just no see him, which didn't surprise him as they were far to used to him being at the front of the room. Oh this would be so amusing. "Mr. Thornton, since you found the need to shout your distaste, we'll get the show on the road as soon as the rest of your class arrives, they still have a few minutes yet." Robert's voice chipped as he walked toward the front of the room, watering here in and there along the way.
If he recalled correctly, this was the boy's element, getting a topic that is, though should he or any of the others fail there were more than enough heads in the class to come up with a topic. He hoped.

Now where the heck did he come from? Drew made a mental note to first check all back rooms next time he decided to goof off before class.
"Sorry, Professor Shaw," he mumbled as he took his seat quickly. "Hey, are we going to have a Hellaboring class again?" he asked seriously. Dang he liked that joke.

The 'official' investigation had started. Robert Shaw was on investigation by the Ministry of Magic. Cody had taken permission to sit in on some classes. He was involved in the investigation, naturally, and had a job to do. Whether or not he would be biased was debatable.
The old Auror quietly entered the Herbology classroom holding a clipboard and carrying a quill with him. He was dressed in his official silver Ministry robes with his badge on the front. He entered the classroom just in time to hear a young man's comment asking if the class would be 'hellaboring'.
He quickly pulled out an official warrant allowing him to be on the grounds and enter the classroom at his own discresion. "Mr.Shaw, I shall be examining your class today. Please, "He paused and put on a fake smile, "Don't change your style because I am here."
With a nod, the old man quietly walked towards the back of the classroom and made himself comfortable in a conjured armchair. "Mr. Shaw, do you often allow students to talk like that? And, is your class usually quote 'hellaboring'?"

Alexis entered the greenhouse. Well, it seemed like quite a few people made it before her but that's alright. Alexis hated to be the first to enter a classroom. "Hey Dorf!" she greeted coming in. "Hey Tristan" of course she couldn't forget him too. Also there was an old man here that looked oldly familiar. "Tristan, isn't that the same guy from last year? You know, in Ancient Runes?" she asked.

((sorry a little late...))
Cameron fell as she was bumped into. "It's alright. I'm Cameron Chambers. It's a pleasure to meet you, Dorf."Cameron replied. She smiled. She looked at the Slytherin boy. "I don't think we've met, either. I'm Cameron Chambers." She grinned, and looked around. She noticed the older man in the class. Great.. Man...Cam be good. You don't need to get in trouble. Cameron thought.

Looking at Mr. Thorne coming in which Tristan didn't like. "What the heck? How many ministry officals are gonna barg in our classes?" he said shaking his head sighing. Then Alexis asked him if he was fimiliar," Yeah thats Cody Thorne. Me and Jason met him last year at the Ministry," he said to her. Maybe he was involved, who knew.
He liked Cody Thorne, it was just the Ministry had just to bring the workers in here. Good thing Uncle Glenn wasn't here, or was he?
