How long he'd been standing there, Ryder wasn't sure. One minute he was watching the stands fill and the next he saw that he was late starting the game.
Muttering a few choice words to himself, the man blew his whistle to call the teams onto the the pitch. Once they were there, Ryder gave his usual speech, let the balls go, blew his whistle once more as he mounted his own broom, and took to the skies so he could ref the action. This game promised to be a good one it seemed.

Drew was in the stands, slouched over a bench in the Gryffindor section, ready and waiting to cheer on the Lions. True, he had more friends on the Slytherin team, but Alhana was supposed to be playing and he knew where his loyalties needed to be.
So decked out in his bright red hooded sweatshirt, he sat up and yelled as the teams took to the field, "LETS GO LIONS!"

Art was looking for the snitch he didn't want to be the idiot who didn't find it. he kept moving not staying at one speed or in one particular direction like charlie told him. He kept his eyes constantly moving he needed to get this right, his he failed.. well he wouldn't so let's not go there. His powerful emotions were hidden behind his desire, the desire to make the snitch his and give glory to himself and his team.

"Hey Sara, come sit down," the excitement of the game made Kyle accidentally give the Huffle girl a nickname, but he didn't even notice it himself. He was sitting in the first row, and he would soon fall off the bench if he continued to inch forward. "Sorry about the last game, but this time, I am going to make sure you are madly in love with Qudditch by the time the game is over."
And the balls were released and the game started. "Hum, Slytherin has a first year as seeker," he stated.

Charlie had given her usual intensified prep talk (unfortunately cut off by the urgency to get on the field), and jumped on her broom to fly out on the pitch. She shook the nerves out of herself, tried to follow her own advice, and paid attention to the game. As she flew off and up, she took hold her beater bat, holding it just above the level of her broom so that she could come prepared when the bludger came near. Holding the front of her broom, she navigated to DJ and yelled, "I'll go on the D! Tell me when you need me, man!"

Chase gave a small nod and followed Brittany out of the locker room. At first the sun light blinded ehr eyes although slowy... she ajusted to it. Her broom, the Shooting Star, was held in her left hand. As the sunlight blazed, and the crowds of people cheered, Chase's confidence rose. It didn't seem as if too many people were cheering for Slytherin anyway, this couldn't be too hard, of course, she was playing with fifth years, and fourth years, and older although Chase was confident in herself.
She boarded her broom raising it into the air as the game began.

Esmerelda looked up as the referee called the game to a start. She looked down at her sketch, staring at it for a moment before she glanced around her, not even realizing the time that had passed. She blinked once, twice. Then she closed her sketch book and gently held it in her lap. She watched as the teams came out onto the Pitch. She hoped the Slytherin team would win but she wasn't one for cheering as everyone around her seemed to be doing. But she was used to the noise. She hoped it would be an exciting game as well.

Ty listened to Charlie's pep talk, then as soon as she had finished with it he grabbed his broom and headed out to the pitch. He was ready to get this game started and couldn't wait for his chance to get his hands on the quaffle. Walking out to the pitch he watched as the referee blew that whistle and let the ball fly. Jumping onto his broom he raised a couple of feet in the air and looked around to see where the rest of the Slytherin chasers were. Seeing the quaffle falling down towards the growed he swooped down and grabbed hold of it, then turned and made his way to the Gryffindor goal posts.

Ash looked around her... none of her Slytherin friends were here, maybe they were on the pitch? She sighed and stood up as the balls were realised, she knew that Slytherin was going to win, no doubt. She liked Gryffindor although-- come on, Ash laughed slightly at the thought-- them winning? It was like Hufflepuff winning against Ravenclaw- pssh, that would never happen in a million years. Keep dreaming Godric.

Lauren jumped up when the game started. One of them had the ball. She had absolutely no idea who he was though, much less his position. She only assumed he was a Chaser since he had the Quaffle. Lauren followed his trail down to the goal posts. She started clapping, getting that Slytherin spirit up, or trying anyway.
"Come on, shoot it," she hollered excitably.

Dang it... Chase thought to herself, she had no clue what was happening at the moment, although suddenly, she saw that Slytherin boy she talked to in the owlery. Chase sped towards him, seeing the red ball in his hands, "Ty!" she called, stupidly, " Pass me the quaffle!" Chase was still behind the boy by a several feet although she was gaining speed. Her broom wasn't that bad. "Ty!" she called again.
((note from writer: *shakes head* I'm extremely disappointed at how stupid Chase is right now omfg))

Ash smiled as she saw Lauren, too was cheering for Slytherin. It was obvious that she was going to be cheering for her own house although she thought that she had made it onto the team. Ravenclaw seemed to be the most crowded house, they had plently of players.
She waved to her, hoping that Lauren would notice although wasn't too sure, so just decided to approach her anyway. She held the x!;}$%^ in both her hands as she walked. It was starting to get a lot colder out here. Although, Ash had always been more found of the winter than the summer. "Hello," she said, smiling to Lauren

Lauren looked over to Ash, grin worn. "Hey," she replied shortly. Turning her attention back to the game real quick, she quecked to make sure there were no major advancements before starting up a conversation with Ash. Turning back,
"So, you're cheering for Slytherin?" She questioned her. "If not, you better get out of him. Unless you'd care to make a bet?"

She shook her head, " Of course I'm cheering for Slytherin, although a bet sounds fun, I just have to find somebody who thinks Gryffindors' gunna win." Ash said, looking around. She didn't want to seem rude to the Gryffindors, but the chances of them winning was awfully slim.
"Don't like flying?" she asked Lauren while staring off into the pitch, watching Ty with the quaffle and Chase annoyingly tagging behind.

"No, I love flying. I was on the team last year as Seeker. Yes, I wasn't that good. It's harder than it looks, so I said I'd rather watch. Art's supposed to be good, I mean he's a first year so he's got to be. I doubt Charlie'd let him on if he wasn't." Lauren explained.
"Them fools are crazy to cheer for Gryffindor. It's acompletely lost caused. We got all the skills," Who are you; Nic? Lauren questioned why she was talking that way, but that's how it came out. You're English, not ghetto, weirdo, she told herself.
