Sarsha didn't notice the confused look on the boys face. Her mind was still on the moving pictures. They were quite disturbing and scary. She nodded at what the boy said trying to comprehend his words. So she was muggle born because her parents weren't magical? She was still quite confused. And her parents were... muggles? The whole concept was new to her. But still, if she wished to stay at this school she would need to get a grasp on the concept.
She heard the mutterings of a few other of the students around her and glanced around, she suddenly remember she didn't know any of these people. And. Her manner's suddenly returned to her when he introduced himself "Oh my gosh, I'm sorry, where are my manners" she shook her head. "I'm Sarsha Nicollete Courtney Elizabeth Worthington-Smythe" she said at once to the boy, the confidence she normally had returning to her voice. She followed her statement with a neat little curtsey.

This time, Kyle was confused and stunned. He caught her first name and something something Worington or something, but that's all. He and the other kids, boys or girls, were nothing that formal. They were kids, they rolled in mud, they chased each other around. The most formal thing they did was perhaps a hand shake.
"Er..." Kyle furrowed brows showed how hard he's thinking. Finally, he made a sort of salute to both girls, thinking it'a a proper thing to do. "Nice to meet you."

"That's...a lot of names."
Emma nodded matter-of-factly, as it was indeed a long slur of names. Emma supossed she had another name or so than most other kids, her full long and annoying name being Emiliane Raisa Bogdanskii-Ashford. Because it still gave the girl a headache, she simply insisted that her name was Emma. She could rather care less if people knew her middle name or what 'Emma' stood for. As for her last names, she had told Roxanne from day one that she wanted to be put down as 'Ashford' on the soul reason that her father's name she had kept would be confusing, something she wasn't ready to explain.
She then looked over to another girl (Sabrina), one who had commenting on how long it was taking for them to be escorted inside. Emma nodded as she looked back to Kyle and Sasha Elizabeth Smyth Courtney Amelia Jannika Amanda something-or-other, and smiled. She did hope that Sasha wouldn't insist on her remembering all of that to address her, because even then she had forgotten.
"Yes, nice to meet you both" she commented, nodding. She couldn't help but let out a small giggle at Kyle's salute, before she realized she was being rude and stifled it.

Her mind stopped again. This time someone else had a different greeting. The big girl she had met, what was her name, Arianna? Yeah thats right. She bowed in some formal manner. That boy she had met, Andrew. He introduced himself how she knew. But now this boy, he saluted. She was confused. Maybe there was a specific wizarding way to introduce yourself. The girls bowed, the boys saluted. She would need to find this out. What if she was doing it all wrong? Maybe it was considered disrespectful. She didn't know.
What she did know though was what he said. She smiled, like her parents had taught her to when meeting someone for the first time "Its awefully plesant to meet you too" Sarsha said to the young boy. She became suddenly aware too, of the other girls presence. Exspecialy after her giggle. That girl didn't seem to be very polite.

((ooc: Kinda late... I know))
So this is how being seasick feels like...
The cherub first year thought to himself as he clenched crossed arms close to his stomach and climbed from the miniature boat. Although the evening showed minuscule wind, it was enough to lightly brisk and rock the boats, enough to get this particularly frisky first year noxious. His dark eyes glanced up as the group followed the humble man towards their 'fate' or so the older kids constantly taunted at their backs on the Hogwarts Express. Nathan gaped at the castle ahead of him as the group of young adolescents began climbing stairs. Merlin. How he loathed stairs, especially so many. His physique hidden beneath his robes showed that.
Stumbling over a few steps for his shoe size and lack of coordination predicted no more, he entered the Entrance Hall (hence the name). Immediately forgetting that awful sense of nausea in his stomach, his arms unlaced each other and he stared at the ceiling twirling around in a single circle. The custom hand work, the crown molding. It was magnificent. How his older brother could possibly forget to mention such enthralling beauty, he did not know. Well, perhaps he did, for his brother took little time to observe his surroundings, he liked to rush and spent even less time to absorb the detail. Nathan was more of the take life slowly sort of guy, perhaps the reason he was the artist of the family.
The group turned the corner and started upstairs again. "Damn bloody stairs." The Jackson brother said aloud to no one in particular before starting up himself. The excited chatter amoungst the first year caused Nathan to look up momentarily as some girls brought up the comment of the pictures moving. How naive. He was being a filthy hypocrite of course because he had been as equally surmised and interested less then two weeks ago when he had seen a picture of the Yule Ball and when some girl with a really weird dress danced with his brother.
The group suddenly stopped and Nathan, being a pretty tall member of the group standing now a 5'0 1/2 looked over the many heads to see a lady (with all the obvious pleasures of pregnancy) no taller then himself. Rising a left eyebrow, he awaited to hear the sorting instructions. His brother rambled on about having to do an obstacle course using only the most difficult physical and magical barriers known to wizard kind. Now. He was nervous.

Michelle's smile widened. "Oh I hope I we do! I tell you what, I haven't talked to anyone else here yet. I don't think I'd make it if I didn't have at least one friend to be with me."
She shuddered letting go of Flora's hand. "I'm so excited ,no, nervous. I guess it's exited-nervous. Whatever it is, I just can't wait until the Sorting! How about you?"
She was glad that Flora wasn't angry with her. If she had waited for someone who never had shown up, she would havn't of been so forgiving. Good thing Flora was a more understanding.
"So, what do you think we're waiting on? I mean, you think we're gonna start soon?"

Kyle scratched his head a bit absentmindedly. Awfully pleasant, so was that a good thing or a bad thing? He looked at Emma with narrowed eyes when she giggled, before pointing an accusing finger at her.
"Miss, may I ask if you are laughing at me?" he asked as seriously as he could, although even he himself could tell that he's smiling. He decided both girls were cool, although Sarsha's words were still too confusing. "And Sarsha, do you know about houses?"

Sarsha looked at Kyle. He was quite very nice. At his question about houses it was Sarsha's turn to furrow her brows. Houses? "Uhhmmm... You mean like the thing's average people live in?" Sarsha asked the boy. Not sure why the boy would think she didn't know what a house was.
Maybe wizards thought, what was it, muggles? Yeah muggles. Maybe wizards thought muggles didn't live in houses. Bt, what such a funny concept was that. She couldn't get her mind around his whole magical concept. Everything seemed so different. Maybe if was because she expected it to be. She wasn't used to magic.

Flora was excited as well. Though she did want to be in Ravenclaw, she would just have to let the sorting decided. But, ending up in Hufflepuff could have advantages for messing with her sister. She was also happy that she meet a friend so early. After the sorting, Flora hoped that they would be in the same dorm. If not, maybe she could sneak in from time to time. "I'm nervous and excited too!" Flora exclaimed. "And I have no idea vat ve are vaiting for. Guess everyone isn't here yet. Or somezing." Flora wondered where her sister was right now. Maybe inside waiting. All she really cared about was being sorted, but who knew what the process was.

"I think he means about the houses at Hogwarts" she spoke up a bit, after Sarsha's obvious confusion of such matter.
She felt a bit rude after that, cutting back into the conversation and such. Emma knew all about the houses, after having heard about them from Roxanne. She ran Hufflepuff, that was what she knew for certain. One of the headmistresses ran Ravenclaw, and the two other houses were Slytherin and Gryffindor, whom she had remembered being told but not actually remembering anything.
"You mean like, Hufflepuff and all, right? My..." she stopped mid-sentance, and bit her lip. Her what? Technically, she wasn't Roxy's kid in a genetic standpoint. Did she want to tell them that she was a teacher's kid?
"I know the Head of Hufflepuff" she nodded matter-of-factly again, small smile emerging.

Michelle looked up at the obviously pregnant woman standing near them. "I wonder who she is? You don't think that's Tamis Raynor do you?"
She paused for a moment then smiled at Flora. "I'll be right back. I wanna ask that lady something."
And with that she turned walking up to the large woman and giving her a tap on the arm. "Excuse me, are you the Deputy Head Tamis Raynor?"
Michelle then patiently waited on an answer before continuing on with her real question.

Flora had no idea who the pregnant woman was. It's not like Alexis would tell her these things. Maybe she didn't tell her just so Flora could find out for herself who they are. "To tell you ze truth I don't know who zat person is." she replied. When Michelle went forward to ask the woman a question, so she said, Flora just stood there wondering what was going to happen. I vonder vhy Michelle want to know vho ze lady it right avay. I'm sure she'll introduce herself later. Flora thought to herself.

Kyle was all ready to act like the senior he thought he was, having so many brothers in this place before, and that he could share some inside details with the girls, when Emma told them she knew the head of Huffles.
"You know the Head of Hufflepuffs?" he repeated in astonishment. He had temporarily forgotten to clue Sarsha in. "You mean, you know know her?"

This Kyle boy certainly wasn't one for keeping quiet.
It hadn't really occured to Emma that it could cause problems and all now. I mean, what if she performed well at Charms, but everyone believed that Roxanne may have just slipped her good grades because they share the same last name? Nobody would take her seriously, but she had already let the cat out of the bag. She nodded as if it weren't a huge deal. After all, she didn't truly know what it felt like to come and be new without knowing a soul; if she never made friends, she could probably go off and hang around Roxy or something. Other students didn't have that advantage.
"Yeah.." she nodded, trying to think of how to best explain things. "She's...well, kinda my mom. Well, kinda not."
She succeeded in being dubious, that much was for sure.
